Magic Training Arc.

The following morning Valoran and Aelina got up bright and early to get ready, and head towards the capital market to go shopping.

As they got ready Valoran asks:

"Should I teleport us to the capital?"

"Why don't we walk? It's such a beautiful morning" - Aelina said.

"Alright." - Replied Valoran.

They both head towards the capital. As they both headed towards the capital Valoran sensed a strange presence from above high up in the sky.

Valoran then looks up and sees three angels flying.

Normally angels don't enter the mortal realm.

"What are angels doing here? They don't seem to be rouge angels since they haven't attacked anyone. I should keep an eye on them just in case." - Valoran thought to himself.

Aelina then noticed Valoran looking upwards into the bright blue morning sky.

However, she can't see anything.

"Valoran. Are you okay? Is something wrong? "Aelina asked a little concerned.

Valoran then faces his mother and tells her that everything is fine.

"I am fine. I just admired the beautiful morning sky"

"Hmm... It seems that mortal beings can't see them. This confirms that these angels are not here to attack if they try to stay hidden" - Valoran thought to himself.

As they kept walking and walking they eventually reach the Halivaaran capital.

"Alright, Valoran. Where should we head first?" Aelina asked Valoran full of energy and joy.

"I'll leave that up to you Mother" - Valoran replied.

Valoran and Aelina head to a clothing shop and Aelina is filled with excitement.

They arrive at the shop and Aelina is immediately filled with excitement. Valoran however not so much he does not care that much about fashion but he is happy to spend time with his Mother who is amazed at the number of choices.

"Valoran. What colour do you prefer?" - Aelina asked with joy.

Valoran then looks around and says.

"Black. I like black clothing"-Valoran answered.

"If that's what you like then have a look and see if you can find anything you like." - Aelina said.

Valoran moves around the store. At first, he had no motivation.

However, Valoran was able to find a black jacket he liked.

When he picked up the jacket he tried it on and it suited him well.

" Not bad"-Valoran said.

He then walks up to his mother and she was blown away at how good this looked on him.

"It looks so good" - Aelina said.

"Really?" - Valoran asked.

"Of course." - She replied to Valoran.

Aelina also showed what she found for herself.

"Look what I found is it not a beautiful jumper? " - Aelina asked.

"It looks great" - Valoran replied.

After that, they went to pay for the clothing which was 12 pieces.

Then they wanted to head for the grocery stand to get some essentials.

"We should buy some vegetables and meat Valoran" - Aelina said.

"Alright" - Valoran replied.

Aelina pointed out that there was a shortcut by using a side passage.

The capital was crowded that day since it was sales day at most stands and shops that day.

"It's a crowed today at the capital we can cut some time by using that side passage."-Aelina explained to Valoran.

"Your right" - Valoran replied.

Both of them then proceed to take the side passage to cut some time.

.. However, because they do not visit the capital that often they don't know that these side passages are not regularly patrolled by city guards and crime rates are high which includes murder in some cases.

They started walking threw the passage. As they walked quickly they noticed just how empty it was.

Aelina was happy about this since they can cut some time.

"Look Valoran. I told you that we will save some time using side passages" - She said with a smile.

"You were right Mother" - Valoran replied.

As they walked deeper inside this side passage the entrance from where they entered is now out of eyes view.

This did not concern Aelina too much who was so happy being out with her son.

After a little while, they started to notice that strange men were sitting on the floor against the walls within the passage.

Next to them, we're a lot of empty rum bottles.

As Valoran and Aelina passed these men three of them started to follow them slowly.

It was one demi-human, one demon and one regular human.

"Just keep walking Mother they won't hurt us" - He said in a calm voice.

"Alright" - Aelina said a little worried.

As they continued to be followed by these three individuals Valoran intercepts a telepathic communication transmission by one of the three men.

"They are heading towards you get ready. One good looking elf and one boy who doesn't look too tough" - One thug said.

Valoran not panicking at all since he knew that he can take on anyone was just reacting as if nothing happened.

As they approach an intersection between other side passages 1 woman and 2 other men approached them. One from the right side. One from the left side. Finally one is directly in front of them. (1 elf and 2 more demons one male and female)

"My my. What do we have here?-One of the demons said.

"What a pretty elf"-The elvish thug said.

"Never mind her. I want that handsome boy. He will be my new plaything" - The demon female said with a smile on her face.

"Hahaha" - All thugs burst out laughing.

Aelina got scared at this point for her and Valoran's life.

"Please just leave us be" Aelina begged.

The human thug got angered at the fact that Aelina gave him an order.

"How dare you?! . Telling us what to do" - The human thug asked her.

"Perhaps we should teach her a lesson." The female human said.

The elvish man then attempts to grope Aelina.

"Let me see the gods" - The elvish thug said while laughing.

As his hand got closer to Aelina's chest she got more frightened.

"Don't you dare touch me" - She said in a shy voice.

At that moment Valoran grabbed the elvish man's hand and crushed it breaking every bone in that hand with ease.

".... AAAAAHHHHHHH!!!... MY HAND!.... YOU BASTARD!!!!" - The elvish male screamed in pain.

The other five thugs then quickly got shocked.

"What the?" - The male demon asked with a very shocked expression.

As the elvish male lay on the floor screaming in pain the human thug male then said.

"Let's take him on together"

They quickly draw blades to attack Valoran.

Valoran however remained calm and viewed them as nothing but bugs.

The human male thug swung his blade directly at Valorans head.

"DIE!" - The human thug yelled at Valoran.

On impact, the blade shattered into a thousand pieces like a thin piece of glass.

The human thug was shocked.

"What the...? My blade simply broke into pieces"

The others looked frightened to see Valoran being this powerful.

"What are you?" - The demon female thug asked with fear.

Then the others all charged at him at the same time with their blades pointing directly at Valoran's body.

"AAAAAAA! " - All 4 others yelled as they charged toward Valoran.

"DON'T!" - Aelina yelled begging them to stop.

When the four blades made contact with Valoran's body the four blades turned into ashes.

"WHAT!" "HOW?" - The thugs are asking being shocked at his power.

Valoran then lifts his finger...

When he did all of them could not move a single muscle.

"You six must be punished" - Valoran said with an emotionless expression and tone.

Valoran then opens up a portal. He then lifts the six thugs with telekinesis without him requiring to use his arms for control since his telekinetic abilities are so advanced.

He then throws them into the portal and closes it.

They landed in a desert. Miles and miles of sand and hot climate.

"Where are we? " - The demon female human asked.

"It's a dessert and it's so hot" - The human male thug said.

All of them were shocked and confused at what just happened.

Then they hear Valoran's voice inside their heads.

"I have transported all six of you into another dimension where there is nothing but a desert"

"NOOOOO!" "PLEASE TAKE US BACK" - The six thugs are begging.

"This is your punishment for attacking us. Goodbye" - Valoran said to them using telepathy magic.

Aelina was relieved that they are finally gone.

However, she wants to get home now since she is still a little shaken up.

"Valoran let's head back."

"Alright, mother. Are you sure? What about groceries?" - Valoran asked.

"It's fine. We still have enough and we can always come back at another time" - Aelina replied.

As they clear the side passage Valoran and his mother then see something spectacular.

They see the castle, Black Burg, in its glory. The giant black castle of the previous Magic King.

Aelina is amazed at how huge this castle was.

"Wow, Valoran. Isn't it ginormous?" - Aelina said with amazement in her voice.

"One day this will be my castle." - Valoran thought to himself.

Valoran then tells his mother to hold on.

"Please hold my hand"

He then casts teleportation magic.

Within a blink of an eye, they are outside of their home.

Valoran then feels the same strange presence that he felt when he saw the three angels earlier.

"Hmm, that strange feeling again" - Valoran thought to himself.

He looks up once more and sees the three angels again. This time he sees them leaving the mortal realm and returning to the divine realm by disappearing in a flash of light.

"I wonder what they were doing in the mortal realm?"

".. Valoran look!" - Aelina said sounding surprised.

Valoran is being snapped out of his thought and proceeds to see what his mother is referring to.

As he went inside the house they saw an owl sitting on top of a uniform with a letter inside its mouth directed to Valoran.

Aelina hands him the letter.

Valoran takes the letter and opens it up and starts reading.

It says:

Dear Valoran Silver.

Congratulations on being accepted into the Halivaaran magic academy. We hope you are excited about tomorrow. We have also sent you your uniform.

Thank you.

Yours faithfully Aegnor Aldon. Headmaster.

Valoran then picks up the uniform. It consisted of Black pairs of shoes. Black trousers. One white shirt. And finally one high-quality black suit jacket with silver linings and a few metal elements. Also, black gloves are optional.

"Wow. This is your uniform the quality of the materials is amazing" - Aelina said with joy.

Valoran then smiles a little and says.....

I can't wait for tomorrow to start my first day...
