Usually for small assassins. The Assassin's Guild is the best source to get jobs. And after they've proven themselves they're taken in by different groups, from a country to some shady businessman or an intelligence agency to an assassination agency. Of course, that doesn't mean that Assassin's Guild is a small power. Even the Dominan Empire has tried to eradicate it once. Destroyed Assassin Job Stones but they still get back every time.

Currently, I was talking to my contact in Assassin's Guild. I wanted to know if Eleric has contacted the Guild yet or to inform me if he does. While taking him down would not be much hassle as the Women Of Letters however as that might be I did not want to use that authority yet. I had enough power as a daughter of Marquis or as the Guild Master of Adventurer's Guild. Sometimes living two lives can be like that.

Ishant, that was the man I was trying to protect. I didn't think he'd need protecting, I mean that can would probably be above Level 30 in the next few days with his speed of growth. Growth like this has only been recorded a few times in history. However, I received the information today. This type of growth is linked with an Experience multiplayer type skill. There are some skills that are commonly found such as Exp Buff (2x) a most desirable skill for most people. However, I knew that even the rare one Exp Buff (3x) can not give this much growth.

However, the information I got today talks about a few people in the past, who have shown such growth. And A sage from the age before Gura had noted that this was due to the skill called Experience Multiplier an evolved version of Exp Buff skill. However, according to the Sage, even this skill had different Tiers. But according to him, no one has seen it. At Tier I it had an effect of 10x. Even the Sage did not know what'll the effect at later Tiers be.

The last Great War Destroyed a lot of information. Even The Men/Women of Letters could not preserve information back then. Gura the Great Hero destroyed half of the Demon Lands and saved Humanity from Demon Lord Yblamaeshe and become a True Hero. At least that was the truth that humans wanted to believe, or were forced to believe.

Gura was a Tyrant, he killed millions of Demons directly and Hundreds of millions indirectly by taking away their fertile lands. Without any food and their power reduced by the destruction of their Army and their ruler, Demons died in numbers that sank the hearts of everyone. But they could not voice their opinion. Gura himself was powerful enough to destroy Kingdoms alone. And the force behind him was even more terrifying.

The Alaunus Church. There were many religions in the world. Some small, some big. Most religions didn't interfere with each other and respected each other's faith. Before the Age of Gura, there used to be about 114 Religions around the world. 3 Major Religions at that time were Alaunus Church which worshipped Alaunus, the god of Sun, Healing, and Prophecy, Ira Church which worshipped Ira the goddess of Creation, Life, and Stars and Nabu Church which worshipped Nabu the god of Wisdom, Time and Fate.

At some point, the Alaunus Church got its hands on an ancient Artefact. You see there have been many people that came from a different world, they're called Otherwolders. There are a lot of different ways someone can come to this world but there was no known way to summon someone at least not in the last 1 thousand years. However, that changed when the Ancient Artefact known as Uzsparine Flute was found. Named after an ancient god of gates and travel. The Artefact is a work of geniuses in Space Magic. It was made by an Otherwolder to go back to his World. However, the Alaunus Church decide to reverse the effects of the Artefact. They used it to summon someone from another World. Of course, The Men/Women of Letters at that time would have stopped it if they thought it'd actually be able to summon someone. After all, there have been Great Wars before, and usually, the reason is an Otherwolder. Because they have extremely powerful Classes such as Hero and Sage. If used by the wrong people these powers would cause only destruction. Heros in times of crisis would be a blessing but Heros without any crisis will only become reasons for the crisis.

However, The Artefact worked. It had not worked when an otherwolder wanted to go back to his World but it worked when they tried to summon someone. Why? The answer was found years later by a Schooler in ancient doctrines of a Goddess called Vinatee. Her doctrines had always been a talk among Space Mages even after her religion died. If only the whole thing could be translated, however, the schooler has translated a phrase which states that to travel between worlds. One must use not only the Space Element but also the Time element, however, to summon someone to your words. Unless it's someone specific, you only need to use the Space element. The reasons could not be translated, the process was still going on.

After Gura was Summoned with Hero Class, the Church announced his existence and supported him. Most people loved heroes, and a religion that summoned one was obviously worth worshiping. Heroes have always saved people when the worst occurred. It was even said that Heros were summoned by gods to help people in disasters. But now a religion had summoned one, there's no crisis right now. Alaunus Church became even more popular and thus more powerful. It used its resources to power level Gura to Level 50 where he was able to upgrade his Class to Great Hero.

After that, they declared that the Demons who always produce most disasters should be completed eradicated. The real reason? They just wanted more power in their hands, a reason to build an army, a reason to ask for donations. And what was a better target than Demons who have been in a war with them forever? Sometimes direct while other times indirectly.

While I did say that we didn't have any rivels to Ishant. We indeed have many enemies, one such enemy is the Alaunus Church. It took all our efforts just to save Demons from every tribe. In the days of Gura, the total number of Demons had fallen below 50 million from 400 million.

Of course, the Men/Women of Letters didn't directly involve themselves, they didn't have enough power to go Against Gura with his True Hero class now after Defeating Demon Lord Yblamaeshe. Thus they had to do something that was a necessary evil. They Summoned the Soul of the Last Demon King. Demon King is an existence that'd send chills down any Humans spine and warmth throughout the body of a Demon. While Demon Lords rule over a single tribe of Demons and ally themselves with other tribes. A Demon King rules over all Demon Tribs. The Class Demon King was said to be powerful enough to crush even True Heroes. The only way to defeat a Demon King was to be a Limit Breaker True Great Hero.

Limit Breaking refers to going above Level 100, it's not an uncommon phenomenon, however still not something that commoners know about. Only higher-ups and people with authority know about it. Only after Breaking the Limit can a True Hero upgrade their Class to True Great Hero.

But since Gura couldn't do it. Just the remnant soul of Demon King was enough to stop him. Until Gura was alive the soul stayed at the entrance of Demonic Lands and only after Gura died did the Soul used himself as a catalyst to create a barrier around the Demon Lands and faded away.

Aa for the Artefact, during the Gura Age. Alaunus Church tried to become the Sole religion and starting with Small religions they began to get rid of them. They called these religions heretics in public and destroyed them. However, Alaunus Church was overconfident. Ira and Nabu Church along with some others put up great resistance. And when Gura went to Fight Demon King's soul, these churches got this information. You should be able to guess who gave them this information. Thus when Gura and Last Demon King's Soul fought another battle occurred. Ira and Nabu Churches attacked Alaunus Church Headquarters. Ira and Nabu Churches had been major churches for years, they had many secrets of their own, many trump cards. They used it all for this war and won it. After they stole the Artefact they went into hiding. The Artefact was then destroyed by

Bastion Society after negotiations. Bastion Society was the front of Men/Women of Letters in those times. Bastion Society was later destroyed (merged back) so that they don't die at the hands of Gura.

Gura found the Gura Empire 526 years ago. While he was the Emperor the real rulers were higher-ups in the Alaunus Church. About 498 years ago Gura Calendar was launched at the death of Gura and is now a widely used Calendar in Human lands. Gura had married the Empress of the Dominan Empire in his time and since then both have been great allies. While the Gura Empires' power declined after Gura died, it was still quite powerful and also has the shadow of the Dominan Empire. Dominan Empire is the real domain of Alaunus Church as well.

There are of course many other details in the history but I had to remember this particular tale because we had found another Otherwolder. About 500 years ago, the council made from S-Ranked Men/Women of letters and some other influential members, a Special Task was issued.

This was the decision. The reason was simple, killing an Otherwolder was risky since if failed you would not be able to negotiate with them and might actually lead them to a path of vengeance. Thus if you find an Otherwolder then you get it in the Guild. Show them the truth of the world. Give them accurate information about everything, and let them decide for themselves what they want to do.

This was the reason why we were going to the Xelnos Kingdom. The kingdom of Demons, to show Ishant truth. Of course, the headquarter is indeed in the Xelnos Kingdom however that is not where the Job stone is. The Job stone is kept by the High Elf Rank S Guild member in the elven Territory. But it'll be moved to Xelnos now. That was why the wait.

The reason why I wanted to recruit him as fast as I can was because of this as well. If he were to fail to see reality right now and made up his mind that Demons were enemies then it'd be too hard to change hun.

But it was still true that even for an Otherwolder, he was shrouded in mysteries. What was his Class, even the Hero Class can be seen with High-Level Appraisal skill, and True Hero and Great Hero can be seen with God's Eye? And his Titles, of course, I knew one must be Otherwolder but what about the rest 3. If they were ordinary Titles, I could have been able to see them without even God's Eye but even after using it, I could not see a single one. Not even Otherwolder, as if he had hidden all of them by skill.

I had talked about it to the headquarters. They were shocked as well however suggested I use another Artefact but this time focus on Titles. Since the last one was not going to work for 1 year now. They had sent me 4 of them.

Currently, I was going to pick these ones. Usually, all important Items came through this channel, unless someone was visiting here. This channel was actually a Subspace tunnel. Using Storage Bag, which worked similarly to the skill Item Box, they would send this bag to a Subspace and then close that channel. I'll start that channel from my side. Thus due to space being compressed, I would be able to get the Item here.

After getting the Artefacts, I invited Ishant to tea at my house.
