《Journey to Another World.... because of my Neighbour》Chapter 8: Infiltration

As we came out of the Gate we found ourselves in the Adventurer's Guild. There were two people in front of us hammering on a safe at the back of the guild. Two magical attacks were fired from our side hitting them both and knocking them out instantly.
"The B-Ranked Adventurers Job stone is in the safe" Flora said and looked around "It seems they've taken all the E-Ranked stones already."
So they use lesser ranked ones usually and only when they need to promote someone above E-Rank do they use the B-Ranked one.
We all reached the safe but soon everyone become depressed.
"What happened?" I asked.
"The safe, when trying to brack the safe they broke the way to open it as well. You open it by pouring your magic energy into that broken plate and after it recognizes your magic power it'll open, but well it only works if the plate is not broken"
"Why don't we just take the safe away then?"
"The safe is magically attached to the guild building, unless you brack the whole wall it won't come out."
I thought of something and approached the safe. No one said anything as I put my hand on it. But then it disappeared.
"Wha... Happened?" The guard captain exclaimed.
Everyone looked at me in astonishment. Even Flora had a look of surprise but only for a moment. I took the safe out of the Inventory in front of them.
"I did not think someone your age would be this sufficient in Space Magic," Lady Guala said looking at me as if she had just gotten the message 'Salary Credited'.
"Now that we have the B-Ranked Adventurers Job stone we should go back," I said.
"About that" Flora said looking at me "We have just taken out the safe. What'll the bandits do when they found out the safe is missing? They would know someone Infiltrated and stole it. They'll probably demand it back and use civilians as hostages for it. Of course, in case the safe wasn't broken, we could have taken out the stone. Locked the safe back and until they realize what had happened they'll not have any time to use hostages."
"So what's the plan now?" I asked.
"Of course, we destroy them from the inside." Sanya the ax wielder said in excitement.

This is quite risky for me a Level 12 guy but I don't have a choice now. Also, I'm a little bit excited as well.
"They'll have to leave in the middle of the night, so they wouldn't be able to carry much gold. Thus they should be trying to find expensive things that are small and easy to carry."
There was a map of the town in the Adventurer's Guild, Flora took it and started marking locations.
"These are the best locations for it, Magic shops to wealthy merchants' houses. I've marked all the ones that they would probably be trying right now. Become they don't have much time. They'll be spread out in these locations. But the problem is how do we do it so that they don't find out something is happening. As well as plan it in a way that we can reach most of them."
Planning isn't what Chess Master is for. This thought crossed my mind. Instantly the map became a chess board to me. 3D and an extremely complex one. But I could understand it all. I started drawing on the map. And my brain was running on steroids. After calculating all factors I decided where they were most likely to be and how should we start.
I conveyed my plan to them all.
"Your plan has a flaw," Flora said after listening to it. "This route is only focusing on where we should be first but not the actual routes of the town itself. Your plan would only succeed if we could just Teleport all around the town."
"And who says we can't?"
Flora raised her eyebrows while Lady Guala looked at me with diamonds in her eyes.
I opened a gate close to the first place we should go to. Where we suspected the bandits' leader would be. After all, without the leader bandits would not be organized and would not be able to negotiate with authorities. But the most important point was that we would not get surprised and attacked by him. On top of that Bandit, the leader might have a way of knowing if his men are going out. We had not killed the bandits at Adventurer's Guild for that reason. He might have a way to find out after all if his teammates died. Which would make the whole plan a failure. Thus the first Target was Magician's Guild. The place most protected in the town and the place where you'll find the most expensive things.

While Adventurer's Guild was mostly about traveling the world and doing side jobs to earn money while doing it. Of course, it had become somewhat more like a monster hunter guild now but the main purpose was about traveling. Going into the unknown.
Magician's Guild on the other hand was about researching magic, making new spells, and helping out Blacksmith's Guild in building Magic Items, such as that Magic tent. So not only will there be rare spells books, runes, and magic circles but also Magic Items. Something that Bandit leader would definitely go himself to loot.
We came out to an ally close to the Magician's Guild and started going towards it. Of course, the Bandit leader wasn't a pushover, he immediately came out feeling the hostility close to him.
There was no need to talk, he immediately released an attack. Suddenly a Dominating Aura started to enclose me. My body started to lose control, I wasn't alone. Except for Lady Guala, everyone looked like they were about to fall. At that point, I heard a notification.
{A Demon King can not be Dominated: Activating hidden Class Skill King's Ambition}
{King's Ambition Activated: All those that are hostile towards the user will feel the pressure of Destruction}
A wave of energy leaked out from me, it was a similar aura that Bratus always had on himself. However, its power wasn't even 1%. But the aura that leaked from me was a lot angrier as if lashing out. Bratus's aura was as if it just simply wanted to destroy things to create new, better things or wanted to end what has been corrupted. The Aura coming of me was as if it had nothing to do with why, it simply just wanted to destroy. A little fear started to form inside me, of my own self.
But of course, I was in a battle. I could not lose my mind right now. My Aura has canceled the Domination cast by Bandit Leader. Of course, the Bandits and their Leader all had pale faces, completely without blood. Thus it didn't take our party, excluding me to kill the 4 Bandits and the Leader. The leader was fighting against Sanya and had an upper hand however the other bandits were soon defeated and for the leader, it soon became 1 against 5 instead of 1 against 1.
Of course, since we were in a party I also received experience. Although extremely small amount. I couldn't even level up to 13th which I was already close to. The reason was being in a party with those who were a lot higher-leveled than you.
And yes killing humans also gave experience. However, it only happens when you kill people with Evil Jobs. Of course, not all Jobs could be acquired by Job stones but Jobs can also be acquired by actions. Such as looting people and acquiring Bandit as a Job or getting born into a noble family and being born with noble as a job. Thus there also were Evil Jobs such as Bandits and Dark Knight.
Soon we started going towards the next location at which point I asked Flora
"Hey, aren't there lots of big figures in the party, how come you're the leader?"
Just to see what she'll say.
"Didn't you say you Apprised me back there? If you did you should know." She said while her face did not show any emotion. There was a slight change in her tone and how she spoke. As if trying to tease me.
"Because you're a Noble?"
"Indeed"
"Hey, so what does the Wom.." as soon as I was about to say Women of Letters she spun and closed my mouth with her hand. Everyone else looked at us. Her tone was again serious but somehow it sounded even more serious when she said "Do not peep into people's Status unnecessarily."
Chills, I felt sweat run down my back. "Do not talk about that again in any condition." She said warning me.
The whole mood because quite serious. But no one asked what it was all about.
Of course, while we were having conversations all while, we were also exterminating bandits. Most of the locations we had marked had at least one Bandit. Only a few turned out to be empty.
"I didn't think you'd have such a powerful Appraisal ability" Flora commented after a while. Easing the mood a bit, but just a little bit. And after a while, I also leveled up to 13 even with this small amount of Exp.

Digital Immigrant
This is the story of how James Allen Quick and Sarah Lynn Abernathy died. By 'died', I mean that their hearts stopped, their brains ceased sending electrical impulses, and all other physical functions terminated. Immediately after which, their bodies were placed into an industrial furnace, reduced to ash, and the ash was spread about in one of the last forest reserves in North America. As ash-spreading locations go, this ranked third. First and second places were, of course, a person’s favorite athletic team’s playing field and the sea. Or rather, I should say that this is how the story begins. You see, it’s what came after that is so interesting.

Starchild
“It’s life’s illusions I recall. I really don’t know life at all.” from the song, Both Sides Now, by Joni Mitchell Starchild is an adventure novel set within an understanding of reality that is rooted in Eastern spiritual traditions. It takes as its starting point experiments in remote viewing that were genuinely undertaken by the American military in the nineteen-nineties under the name of the Stargate Project. It then imagines how a more advanced attempt to weaponise the capabilities of consciousness might have been developed in the present day.The story then explores how Ultimate Reality might respond to such a threat.Deep, elemental forces thus bring together Samantha Martin and Sahadeva Varma, old colleagues from the Stargate Project, to avert the apocalyptic consequences of this military attempt to weaponise consciousness. This fast-paced story spans genres including romance, action, adventure, science fiction and more. Although this story is based on concepts drawn from established spiritual traditions, these have sometimes been extrapolated to the point of very extreme speculation for the needs of an adventure story.Much of the underlying philosophy, however, as explained in the dharma talks given by Samantha Martin, is paraphrased from the guidance of respected spiritual teachers. Scheduling: Starchild is a previously unpublished novel of one hundred thousand words which was serialised in weekly instalments over twenty-five weeks from 15th November 2021 to the 29th April 2022. Each instalment contains five chapters – an average of approximately four thousand words in each instalment.
