Omake 53: Dio meets the Jojos (Johnny)
Johnny Joestar was not someone I would have expected to face so suddenly and… this angrily.
I couldn’t blame him. Sorta. The jockey was known to be the kind of guy that was quick to anger between his inferiority complex, his general distrust of people and the crap he had gone through during the Steel Ball Run.
Everyone was quite confused by that rough introduction, which was expected since the blond was being quite rude and ballsy despite the room packing some heavy hitters. I knew better than allowing the young man to cause this kind of mess to escalate. Still, I managed to handle the situation as well as one would hope to deal with it in these circumstances.
“Does Johnny stand for Jonathan?”
The wheelchair-bound young man gave me a look and then nodded. “Yeah. And you really look like someone I met before.”
“Well, we already have a Jonathan,” I reasoned while looking at the others. “So I think that he might come from a different… timeline.”
“Isn’t that a big guess, Dio?” Jonathan inquired back and I shrugged. “Well, I guess I could try to ask him a few questions.”
“Questions? Maybe I didn’t make myself clear. Where is Gyro and where am I?” Johnny yelled back, growing angrier by the minute.
I sighed, knowing that we couldn’t give him his buddy to calm him down, but we could at least try to be honest about it and hopefully defuse the matter altogether. “We would like to know where our friends and family are too, Johnny. We all woke up in this place, and we don’t know who is behind this.”
Surprise flashed between his anger, the young man still looking unsure about trusting us but-

“Your father’s name is George right?” Jonathan interrupted, staring right at Johnny’s eyes. “I can tell it is the case.”
“You-”
“My name is Jonathan Joestar, Johnny. You and I are the same and yet not.”
Johnny scoffed. “Sounds like a lot of crap. You may have British blood, but I can tell that you ain’t me.”
“Yet this is indeed the case. The only difference I can see is that we both had different childhoods and existences.”
“Maybe-”
“And I can tell you are a man as just and fair as I am, yet tormented by some horrible events.”
This comment had the jockey snarling. “You don’t know me, prick.”
Now, that would have been a dreadful starting point to begin an interaction from but… someone took this rebuttal quite personally.
“Yo, horsey-man. You shouldn’t disrespect grandpa like that!” Joseph quipped, catching the attention of the jockey. “Gramps is way cooler than a crappy rider.”
“W-Who are you calling ‘crappy rider’, have you seen your shitty hair as of recently?”
“OI! There’s nothing wrong with Pops’ hair!” Josuke quipped harshly, feeling offended that his natural father got roasted out of the blue and about such an
“Yeah, my son’s hair is stylish too!”
But where this would
“I… what? You two are… father and son?!”
“Yes,” I replied honestly. “Once in a while a new person is dropped in and are either our descendants or people from different timelines. It’s quite possible the next newcomer will be-”
“Someone with ties with you.”
The voice wasn’t owned by anyone within the room. The overall attention was now aimed at a new arrival, one that walked calmly towards Johnny and his horse. He was wearing a traditional white sailor uniform and… Johnny blinked.

“Who are you?”
“My name is… Josuke Higashikata. However, I am the result of two dying humans coming together into one, Yoshikage Kira-Kujo and Josefumi Joestar.”
“K-Kira?!” The original Josuke exclaimed in surprise, panic rising at that familiar name.
“Someone you know?” Jolyne asked, tensing up as she soon stood beside her ‘grand-uncle’.
“Maybe a villain,” Gappy admitted, shyness manifesting in his mannerism. “However, I believe that Johnny Joestar is indeed my descendant through George Joestar III, a child born from him and Rina Higashikata.”
“So, you are the newest family member that got pulled into this mess without knowing how?” Jotaro pressed, growing frustrated at this development.
“Yes and… No,” Josuke II confessed, his next words stunning the whole room. “I know who is behind this whole mess.”
“You do?” Jonathan asked, recovering quick enough to press the newest arrival. “Who is it?”
“It’s… the first Joestar.”

Dungeon Core? Nah, I Think I'll Just Get Super-Wealthy Instead
The cycle is simple enough. A Dungeon Core is born from a wayward soul. It seeks power and agency, and works to accumulate wealth to fuel its power, in turn using this power to accumulate further wealth. Inevitably, the mind is lost as desperation and ambition drive it to commit darker and darker acts. Shortly thereafter, the adventurers arrive to quell the core. This is a tale that has repeated itself countless times throughout history: all cores desire power. And yet, this core seems to have it backwards. It doesn't want to rule the world. It has no desire to enslave or conquer. No, this core doesn't want to be a warlord, a villain, or a tyrant. It wants to start a core-poration. After all, when money is power, what greater weapon is there than capitalism? Join a dungeon core that wastes an absurd amount of time and effort trying not to be evil on his journey to earn fat stacks against all odds. -This is a 'Dungeon Core' type fiction with LitRPG elements in it. The start may be fairly slow compared to the average. Expect roughly 2.5k per chapter. -I'm only a hobbyist writer. As such, there may be the occasional error and pacing may be poorly-handled. Constructive criticism is alway welcome. I'm just here to write stuff that makes my brain release the g o o d c h e m i c a l s. -I am trashy and I like monsterpeople so you can expect an awful lot of those as we get further in. Thank you for reading this far, and I hope you enjoy.
