《Green Life》An invitation from Sakuru? – Chapter 211

Before the girls could manage to try out their new equipment, they stopped as many individuals could be seen entering this whole area.
They were familiar individuals which Lily didn't want to do anything with.
“That's unexpected to see other people here.” A certain tall boy with glasses commented as he was walking in the lead while the rest of the group was following after him.
Lily knew everyone and what they were capable of since they were the cause of her brother going missing during their first training.
“What do you want here? I rented this place for the whole day. You do not have permission to enter this place as you like.” Lily stated with a stern look on her face without showing any signs of fear or nervousness towards the strongest human in the country.
“I’m not sure about that.” Tatsuya responded with a slight smirk on his face as he couldn't care less about the threats that Hatsuko’s sister was giving.
“You’re saying that I’m lying?” Lily asked as she never separated her eyes away from that person.
“I’m saying that the one you have rented this place from, is none other than me. So me being here is no surprise.” The strongest human in Sakuru said after fixing his glasses into the perfect position.
“Geez, Tatsuya!!” Suddenly a certain girl wrapped her arms around his arm after having enough of this quarrel. “Don’t just tease her like that. She did rent this place! So we shouldn't have just come here without a notice.”
“I was just joking.” Tatsuya gently smiled back as he enjoyed the soft sensation of the hug he was receiving.
But on the other hand, I could see other students who were also in the top ten strongest people in the country.

“Hm? Where have I seen her?” A certain white haired boy asked as he was looking at Lily with curious eyes. He was sure that he had seen her before, but for some reason, his balls ached in pain every time he looked at her. It was as if some kind of nightmare was being brought into real life.
“Everything good, Raiden?” Asked the dude beside him after noticing this sudden change.
“H-huh? Oh, yeah. Everything’s cool. I was just wondering how pretty those girls over there are. I’ve never seen them before in our school. That's why I was wondering who they were.” The white haired boy said as he tried hiding the sudden pain he felt for a moment on his balls.
“Man, you should stop hitting on every girl you see. You’ll end up alone if you continue doing so.” The guy beside him responded.
“Tch, just because you have a girl doesn't mean I should have one as well. I can play around with anyone I like, so I don't want you, Tanaka, to tell me what to do.” The white haired boy glared as he was looking at Tanaka and the girl who was right by his side the whole time.
But as Tanaka was trying to boast about his proclaimed girlfriend he tried wrapping his arm around her shoulder, only to get dodge and ignored by her.
"Come on baby girl, there's no need to be shy around others." Tanaka teased with a smirk on his face.
"I'm not shy." Rei responded with an expressionless look on her face.
Meanwhile on the other hand, Tatsuya was observing all of the girls in here as if trying to figure something out.
“Even if you own this place, you can’t just come here. I legally rented this place.” Lily tried reasoning with him after seeing how unbothered he was by this kind of situation.

“Calm down, I didn't come here to cause any trouble for you.”
Lily narrowed her eyes. “Then, what could you possibly want here other than that?”
“I wanted you to join our group. With your tech, we will manage to not only improve our strength but also find a way to defeat demons and angels.”
“I’m not interested, so leave.” Lily immediately responded without even thinking twice about her decision.
“Of course, your friends over here can join as well. I can see that they are quite powerful and I would love to have them by my side.” Tatsuya insisted as he glanced at the white coated girl.
“We don’t have any interest in joining you.” Chloe responded without even bothering to look at the man who gave this invitation.
But to Tatsuya, this was received as a kind of message where Chloe wasn't bothered by their strength difference. That's what pissed off Tatsuya for a bit, but since there were way too many witnesses in here, he decided to play it off with a smile.
“Alright, but I’ll be back. I don’t like getting a no for an answer.” He said before notifying the rest of his group to leave this area.
But before he could leave as well, he glanced towards Akemi with narrowed eyes.
“Tatsuya, let's leave.” Hanna pulled his arm after seeing that he wasn't moving.
“I’m coming.”
But this kind of gaze was immediately noticed by the silver haired girl as well. And from the way she was motionless standing still, her eyes didn't move an inch from Tatsuya.
[ He’s strong… ] Akemi thought.

Born from a precarious relationship between a Drow and his prize, Serena Lash struggles to find her place, and herself, as she fights to persevere through the hardships life throws her way. A story born from a D&D game I am currently a part of. The narrative will follow the events of the campaign as closely as possible, with some events having been tweaked to better fit into a written story. A slow burn, the narrative does skip around a bit due to the nature of the campaign, considering that not everything in the game needs to be written about. This will begin to peter out the further the story progresses, but for the first parts, expect a bit of skipping!
