Dirty and ragged clothes, rottened skin, and disgusting looking faces, and the way they were walking was unbalanced and quick at the same time.

Those were real zombies!

I have played hundreds of zombie shooting games, but I have never thought that they would be a thing in real life. Someone might think that they all are actors, but in this kind of situation I doubt that. Even their auras were dark that were a bit stronger than monsters I usually have killed.

I'm not sure if they are exactly like in the games I used to play but they don't seem that strong. All of the zombies were running in one direction where all of the humans were trying to survive.

They had surrounded themselves with some spiky wires and tons of mines where some of the zombies would get blown. From here, it looked like a military base where they would rescue any remaining people who had survived the destruction. But they seem to be struggling with these zombies. All of the soldiers were using some kind of laser guns, burning and evaporating the zombies. But no matter how many times they shot them, the zombies still got up on their feet and continued walking or rushing towards the base.

What about their status?

There isn't much about these zombies other than their strength. Their status is just like normal humans except some of the numbers.

Their health is zero, that means that they are already dead. That also explains why they keep walking no matter how many times the soldiers shoot them.

[ What is happening? I thought they were monsters, but they look like humans? ] ( Chloe )

Now that we had gotten a bit closer to them, Chloe and everyone else could see the zombies better.

[ They are zombies. ] ( Hatsuko )

I responded to Chloe as I was looking at that situation down there.

[ Zombies? You mean like real zombies? Just like in the movies? ] ( Chloe )

She continued asking questions about them with an enthusiastic voice. I thought that most of the girls would get grossed out by zombies, but Chloe here seemed really excited about it.

[ Yeah, just like in the movies. ] ( Hatsuko )

After I confirmed her question, Chloe prepared herself to land on the ground near the zombies.

[ Alright then! This is going to be so much fun! ] ( Chloe )

But Chloe is being a bit reckless right now and she might get infected by them. That's why I stopped her whole body in midair before she could go down to the ground.

[ Huh? I can't move?! ] ( Chloe )

She reacted as she was trying to move around her body.

[ Calm down, I stopped you before you would reach the ground. ] ( Hatsuko )

I tried explaining to her before she did something reckless.

[ Wait, why? Those zombies seem like an easy target? ] ( Chloe )

Sometimes I start wondering if Chloe was really meant to be an assassin. I'm not sure how an assassin works, but I'm sure they wouldn't be this reckless without making sure that everything is okay.

Now, before answering Chloe’s question I should check its skills.

Every zombie had only one skill called “infection”

Her face became pale the moment she heard me explain their skill. But it was true and I wasn't making anything up to prevent her from going down there. That's what the skill was about.

[ S-so w-what do we do about them? ] ( Chloe )

[ I’ll go and attack them first, everyone else should stay here until I clear them up. ] ( Hatsuko )

I said to her as I was about to go towards the zombies, but Chloe seemed a little worried about something.

[ You’re going alone? I mean I know you’re strong but what if they catch you a-and… ] ( Chloe )

She started blushing while saying that to me. Even her eyes were restless and she couldn't see me in the eyes.

Her mind is really wild…

[ No, they only rape females, thats why you shouldn’t worry about me. ] ( Hatsuko )

She thought for a second before looking at me again.

[ Okay but I'm coming as well if they manage to catch you. ] ( Chloe )

I highly doubt that but she can do whatever she wants.

[ Sure… ] ( Hatsuko )
