After buying some clothes for myself I decided to look for a place to stay tonight.

I didn't want to spend another night at Harutos mansion.

The first night there was comfortable but something bothered me...

When I was trying to find the bathroom during the night, I heard moaning sounds coming from one of the rooms.

He does realize that I was staying over at his mansion, but he still kept going at it.

Even the servants there weren't questioning his behavior at all.

They are servants after all.

Anyway, for now, I should find a rental house.

Now, where should I look?

It's gonna be a pain in the ass to ask other people for directions.

Wait the map Haruto gave me!

Maybe it could give me directions to a place where I could rent a place to stay for some time!

I opened the device and searched using specific tags.

It showed me 10.000 places I could visit to take pictures like a tourist.

I tried using another tag.

It showed me different places.

When I clicked the first option it showed me the directions to that place!

It was close by...

But when I arrived at that place it had a sign saying "Closed".

I decided to go with the second option.

It was about 4km away from here. It took me some time to arrive there.

The place was called "Rental Houses".

When I entered the place, it wasn't as big as I first thought.

When I first looked at the way the insides of that place were designed, I thought it was modern-looking and simple.

I didn't pay too much attention to that.

The first thing you could see in this place was the receptionist.

She was a woman around her forties.

I approached her and asked.

[ I want to rent a place! ] ( Hatsuko )

She fixed the position of her glasses and looked at me.

[ What kind of place are you looking for? ]

She asked me as she was putting away her paperwork.

[ A house for one person, it doesn't have to be too cheap. ] ( Hatsuko )

I tried explaining to her.

After that, she turned on another monitor which was on her desk facing me.

A bunch of pictures of houses were shown there.

That might be how she shows the clients the places they want to rent.

[ What do you think of this one? ]

She showed me a picture of an apartment.

In comparison with the rooms of Harutos mansion, this one had a small room.

The whole place there had only one window which was located in the living room.

That couldn't even be called a living room. It was really cramped.

I'm sure that kind of place could be bought from those who don't have a house and barely have any money on them.

Did she think I am that kind of person?

[ I have a bit of money from completing some quests on the guild. Can you show me something more expensive than this? ] ( Hatsuko )

At first, she showed a doubting face but she still did her job and showed me other pictures.

As she was scrolling through some different apartments I noticed something that caught my eyes.

[ Show me this one! ] ( Hatsuko )

She showed an annoyed face when I said that.

[ Quite the attitude you have, Mr. Client! ]

I ignored what she said and looked at the pictures of that place.

It was an apartment on the 6th floor. The view from up there wasn't that bad.

[ I'll rent this one! ] ( Hatsuko )

[ For how long are you planning on staying there? ]

I haven't thought about that.

I'm not planning on staying in this city forever.

[ I haven't decided on how long I will stay there. ] ( Hatsuko )

She started clicking something on her other monitor and turned to me again.

[ The place, you want to rent is 1050$ a month! You can pay in advance 490$ for two weeks stay at least! ]

She started giving me an explanation.

[ After two weeks of paid rent, you can choose to pay the rent for another two weeks or more! ]

[ I understand! ] ( Hatsuko )

She gave me the address of that apartment and the key to it.

I paid for the first two weeks using my debit card.

Before I could leave, the receptionist called out to me.

[ Ah, before you can leave, I want to let you know that after the first 2 weeks are over, you have 2 days to pay for more or leave the place! ]

I gave her a nod and left that place.

" Xxxx-xxx-xxxx"

This was the address of my new rental house.

I tried searching for the address on the map device.

One hour had passed when I finally found the apartment.

The building had an elevator, so I used that to get on the 6th floor.

The key had a number on it "36"

That must be the number of my room.

After finding the door number, I unlocked it with my key.

The moment I entered, Shiro got out of my hood and started looking around.

It was as if she understood that this was where I was going to stay.

The place inside had one living room and one kitchen, one bathroom, and one bedroom.

This apartment was surprisingly clean and well maintained.

The first thing I did was, looking around the rooms. When I saw through the windows I could see a lot of things like the shopping center which was near.

A lot of people were walking around doing their things.

I put my new clothes in my wardrobe which was located in the bedroom.

Even the smell this house had, was fresh and nice.

After setting up all of my things I checked the time.

I have 2 more hours until I get the money from Ichika's father.

They mentioned something about having a party first but I don't plan on staying too long there.

Oh right, I should return Harutos clothes.

When I arrived at the mansion, the servants let me in.

I was quite surprised that they remembered me. After entering the mansion, I was told to wait in the guest's room.

After 10 minutes, Haruto came into the room.

[ Haah... Oh, Hatsuko! You're back? ] ( Haruto )

His face was red and sweating a lot. His clothes were creased as if he had thrown them away and decided to re-wear them.

I could clearly tell that he was doing something before I came here.

Does he think of anything else besides having sex?

Well, that doesn't matter to me.

He can go kill himself for all I care!

But, I'm still not done with him yet!

Seeing from his mansion, I'm sure he must hold some kind of authority. He could be some kind of support to me in the future.

[ I have brought back your clothes. I bought new ones for myself. ] ( Hatsuko )

[ Is that so? You could have kept them though, I wouldn't mind. ] ( Haruto )

I left the bag of his clothes on one of the tables.

[ Oh, I forgot to mention that I have rented an apartment so I won't be staying here anymore. ] ( Hatsuko )

I said as I got ready to leave.

[ I see... ] ( Haruto)

He started thinking for a second.

[ Could you give me your address? ] ( Haruto)

My address?

Why does he want that?

Is he planning something?

[ Why do you want my address? ] ( Hatsuko )

I stared at him as I was saying that.

The fact that he wasn't startled by my intimidating look, surprised me.

[ Oh, I want to keep in contact with you since I still haven't properly thanked you for saving us! ] ( Haruto )

I was kind of expecting this since I never got any money from him.

Oh right, I don't see any of the other girls around.

[ Did the girls recover? ] ( Hatsuko)

[ Yes, Ren woke up some moments ago. ] ( Haruto )

So that's why he couldn't stop but do her as soon as she woke up?

[ Hina still hasn't woken up though, I'm getting kind of worried! ] ( Haruto )

Well, doesn't matter to me!

I wrote my name and address on a paper and put it near the bag on the table.

I could tell that Haruto was waiting for the moment I would leave so he would go back to having fun.

When I finally got out of Haruto's mansion I checked the time on the map device.

I wanted to return that to him as well but he insisted on me keeping it.

Ichika's house was a bit far from here. It was also getting darker.

Maybe I could use that!

I checked if anyone was around me.

The moment I confirmed that no one was near me I activated my skills and decided to fly my way to their house.

I might get noticed by someone if I fly straight into their house.

This place has a limited height and it's clear to visible eye at day. I'm not sure if it's the same during the night too. Surrounding this city was a massive screen warped around it which is used as a way to replicate the weather, stars, sky, sun, etc.

I flew myself into one of the highest buildings I could find. Looking around I could see almost the whole city from here. Lights of the cars, sign advertisements, could be seen all over the city.

It was a view where it could be seen everywhere. If other cities still existed, they would look something like this.

From what I've heard, a massive amount of people have died from that disaster.

It was Angels and demons' fault for destroying almost everything.

I don't plan on taking revenge on them or anything. More like I would thank them!

The disaster opened my eyes!

It showed the true nature of humans...

Of how weak they are!

I wasn't turned this way because of that disaster but because of humans that live here!

They despise the weak and admire the strong.

I jumped off the building and using my skills I made my way to Ichikas house by making big jumps between other buildings.
