《The Blunderbuss Chronicles: Jon The Farmer》Book 2: Epilogue

Jon woke up after an unknown amount of time. He hadn't even thought of asking how much time there was to sleep. He really must have been tired.
He looked underneath and saw Mallory underneath him, snoring.
He climbed gingerly from the bunk bed and saw that the other beds were filled with people he didn’t know.
He crept out and made his way back onto the deck of the ship.
“Yo!”
Jon looked up and saw Tallow hanging from the crow’s nest upside down. She waved to Jon.
“Wanna come up?”
Jon saw the ladder, so he climbed up the side of the mast until he was in the crow’s nest as well.
She climbed up to the top of the mast, not needing a ladder to get there.
She put her hand over her eyes and looked out into the sea.
“It’s quite fresh out here. I thought boats were annoying at first, but now, I might just become a pirate. Start stealing from the haves, giving to the have-nots, and taking my fair share, right?"
Jon shrugged.
“Farmers probably don’t use money, do they? You just grow and eat your own food.”
Jon grimaced.
“Figured. By the way, Your girlfriend and your best friend look like they're about to make out! Maybe you should check in on them!”
Jon looked in the direction Tallow was pointing. Hector was at the same spot he was before, but Mercy had taken Mallory’s place.
They stood side by side, staring at the sunrise.
Jon wanted to know what they were talking about, or even if they were talking. But, if they were in a good place, he decided just to leave them be.
He could stay with Tallow, right?
“Can I stay?” Jon asked.
“Sure… I don’t know why you’d want to stay with me…”

She slid down the mast slightly until she was at level with him. “I mean, of course, you want to be around me. Those guys are boring anyway.”
“Maybe,” Jon said. He didn’t know. He was just happy. Things weren’t boring or exciting. They were just fine.
More than fine.
He expected Tallow to say something more, but she grimaced.
After some time, she spoke again.
“Thanks, Jon.” She said, “For everything.”
She climbed back up to the top of the mast, and they all watched the sunrise together.

Dawn of the System
The world as we knew it ended after an alien civilization invaded earth, but in the end, mankind prevailed thanks to the invention of Omega, a system that could modify genes in real time. Everybody in 2119 knows this story, everybody except for Richard, a college student who wakes up in his bed a century in the future and inside the body of a dragon-like monster. With abhorrent creatures roaming the destroyed cities and with those who were supposed to be his allies now turning on him, it’ll be difficult to survive in this harsh world and discover the truth of his past.

Zone has no owner, it has its rules It shows no mercy, to both wise and fools. It has no God, it gives no hope It gives to kind, last rites and rope. It’s a Hell on Earth where demons thrive But people kill, to get inside. People kill, to leave this place People die, for a chance to stay. For those, outside, they dream of horrors We live inside, horrific borders. We live, we thrive, just like those demons. Here, our lives, they have a meaning. Zone has no God, it has no Devil But it has us and its enough We are in Hell or maybe Heaven Gates are here, in front of us. The Zone has many rules and none of them would make much sense to you, living on the Outside. For example here, you would never hear, “I’m sorry for your loss”. Only silence would be the answer. The most empathetic action you would receive, is an open flask and a nod. People here don’t expect to live long and happy lives and even the most optimistic person at most, would hope to die inside of a blender. It's the most painless and quickest way to die in The Zone, and the cleanest. Your body would be torn apart in a second by countless gravitational pulls, all centered on you, leaving nothing but a red circle outside of its perimeter.
8 68Wanderers of the New World
(Temporary Break. Working on some things in the story.)What would happen if you were suddenly transported in another world? Well, that's exactly what happened to our protagonist, Terrin Tachibana. He is your run-of-the-mill guy. Dull, mediocre, average or anything that is within the realm of ordinary. One that lives in the world without any special talent on him, without anything that would make him stand out. So what exactly would happen if a witch transported this kind of person in a world full of monsters? Join him as Terrin enters a convenience store not knowing he would be transported and meet people that would change his life, for better or for worse, as he becomes a wanderer. A Wanderer of this New World. (Pictures are not mine, just edited it.) P.S. The style of this fiction is similar to a Japanese Light Novel.

Damian suddenly decided to leave, or perhaps return the mantel of Robin to its previous owner, Tim Drake, without any explanation or discussion with his family. No one knew why. Only Damian knew why, and it was probably for the best.
