"Someone else seems to be at a good mood as well.", Magi said.

"Yea no kidding. What...happened with you guys? Did you make up from all the history you had?"

"I guess you could say that...Magi cleared up a lot of confusion for me. She will do the same to you!", Ikarisa latched on to Lass.

"For Risa to say that, I'm pretty sure you can be...somewhat trusted. Fine then...let's talk."

"Actually...someone wanted a favor beforehand. You go girl.", Magi stepped back.

"Umm, Lass...this will be the final song before the king requests our audience. So could you umm...dance? With me?", she said with a blush, fidgeting her fingers.

"Holy hell, she is the god damn reincarnation of cuteness- what in the hell am I saying- what do I do?! Wait, why am I thinking it this way?! What’s wrong with me?! I don’t feel that way!", Lass whispered as he turning around, controlling his nosebleed.

"I dunno you idiot, how about accepting her proposal for starters, since you wanna hit on her?", Magi angrily whispered at Lass as she approached him silently from behind.

"Y-You! What are you doing here and what did you hear?!", he jolted.

"He said yes. Have fun!", Magi crabbed Lass, lifting him up and tossing him to Ikarisa.

"Oh you bas-", he bumped on Ikarisa, hitting the ground. "Y-Yea. I'll do it...", he blushed in Ikarisa's presence. "Just a favor. Nothing else."

"R-Really? Yay!", Ikarisa smiled gently.

The dance started awkwardly as both Lass and Ikarisa weren't exactly in the mood to dance in front of all the others, but zone out by themselves. At the start, out of pure reaction, they just sat there and chatted on one of the nearby tables...

"S-So it's a beautiful night isn't it? Not a single cloud in the sky."

"Y-Yea I think so too...the music is really nice as well isn't it?"

"Yes I'd say it's pretty nice...though not as pretty or nice you're looking tonight!", he instantly regret his words, making a face of pure despair. "What the hell did I just say?! I swear I'm just grinding against the danger zone! Why did I ever thing such thing and why did I say it, what the hell is wrong with me-", he continued to mumble in his thoughts.

"W-What? I-I uh...thank you!", she blushed happily. "Oh my gosh, he actually likes it! I did it, I found the perfect outfit for him to notice and like me! I'm so happy!", she thought.

All though they both had their moment, someone else was not as happy to look at them.

"Oh my god.", Magi facepalmed "What is this circus show..."

"Hey. Sorry I'm late...what did I miss?", Anya approached Magi.

"This.", Magi pointed at Lass and Ikarisa.

"Oh boy..."

"Are they really both so clueless on catching any cues? Like correct me if I'm wrong, it takes one look to realize they're both dead-ass interested in each other right?"

"Yeap.", Anya sighed. "This is like a sweet disaster. Neither of them will make a move to be honest...unless intercepted of course."

"Wait a minute. Yo girl...you alright? Where you crying?", Magi said as she noticed Anya's lowered ears and tail.

"Yea, but don't sweat it. Let's deal with this first and I'll tell you later, I promise. Tonight I want to make it about them...or at least try to.", Anya picked herself back up. "Alrighty. Where should we start..."

One swift look at each other the duo of disaster came up with a cunning plan to get their friends closer.

"I'll go threaten the maestro.", Magi said.

"I'll go tinker with the lighting equipment." Anya smiled.

"Drinks after this." both Magi and Anya said to each other, handshaking.

After that the music seemed to suddenly slow down a bit, to a more romantic rhythm

"O-Oh...I guess that...", Ikarisa froze.

"M-May I...", Lass tried to move. "Have this dance?", he spread his hand.

"O-Of course!", she took his hand

And as the lights started to get dimmer, both Lass and Ikarisa went to the side of the dance floor, a little side balcony area where not many people where dancing at. Then as they had previously done in the arcade house Lass put my hands around her waste and Ikarisa put them around his neck. They then slowly started to move and form the same dance they both remembered from the arcade, during their day at the fair. The moonlight in that area seemed to get brighter and brighter, as it shone on her face and the night itself seemed to become brighter than the sun on a warm summer day. They where both lost in their own world, so lost in fact that they both didn't realize a small crowd had formed around them to gaze at their dance. Not before long after that happened they both stopped and looked each other in the eyes. He never had so much focus on something let alone someone in his life. But that didn't last for long as the entire atmosphere got interrupted by them realizing the people gathered around them.

"Ah, dammit...Magi.", Anya looked at Magi.

"I've got it. Leave it to me."

Interrupting everyone and saving them again, Magi was quick to tear down unwanted attention.

"Alright you rich money filled morons, brake it up!", Magi shouted in the distance. "Come on you've got better things to do! Yo, Prince Charming, get your pretty looking date and come with me for a second!", she shouted at Lass.

Lass grabbed Ikarisa's hand and they both quickly went after Magi.

"Thanks again...", he said to Magi. "How the hell has she not been fired yet? This is clear abuse of power.", he whispered.

"Just as it was about to be turned into a kissing scene...", Magi whispered. "Oh well."

"Listen if you came here looking to grind my gears, I've got way better things to focus on...", Lass angrily said.

"Yea I can see that.", Magi continued to provoke him.

"I'll kill you.", he sighed.

"Sure you will, now come with me.", she lead the way.

Taking him to the side Magi then showered Lass with an abundance of critical information.

"Alright. What did you wanna tell me?", he folded his arms.

"It's no secret that via the history books, I've done some really messed up things and made some wrong decisions but I'm sure of it. This time this will truly be the final battle with the gods...however I can tell you this. Before I detached myself from my genocidal subordinates, I made absolutely sure they won't have an army to work with for quite a while. Maximum of 1-2 years is what I believe is gonna take them to recover from me chopping their numbers to less than half.

"You faced the entire God's Army?"

"Yes. This is what I told Risa too. She too seemed to be understanding on the situation...she has really started to hate both her brothers, reasonably so."

"Believe me, I've been hating them from the get-go."

"About the lance now. I found it and snatched it before I left the Gods Army so that the two idiots don't immediately pull a second army out of thin air. That means that Cecilia indeed went after these bastards at some point. Also the gauntlets Risa wears have changed since I last saw them. They now seem to be able to create things such as knifes and blades out of nowhere, and even burst off large amounts of mana at once. It's not just bound to create living things anymore...and I think it might have something to do with you too but...that's it for me. Oh by the by you might wanna go to Haty after this, he might have something interesting to tell you both. See ya later lovebirds.", she smirked and walked away.

"Wait Magi! Where are you going now?! We will see you again right? You're not just going to disappear again?!", Ikarisa shouted.

"Oh I'll make sure of that little goddess. For now, I'll be taking my well deserved vacation at Jugnia. Heard the beaches in that place are a must swim to, so guess thank you for creating that place Ikarisa. See ya!", she saluted them away.

With that Ikarisa turned at Lass and told him most of everything they had said with Magi. She then told him about the Flower of Resurrection...and she was determined to help no matter what. Because he knew how stubborn she could be, he just backed away from that one and let her have it. Then Ikarisa, out of reaction to reassure him, lifted her hand up and she created magic imbued looking swords that floated right next to her which easily drew attention from nearby onlookers so he grabbed her arm and pulled it down. Even then she still had that powerful look in her eyes...

"I've had enough...no matter who it is. Lass I'm ready for it...so please next time you go out there, take me with you!"

"Huh. Even changed the goddess too?", Anya chuckled. "Anyhow, I'll be taking my leave too. The king is about to have you anyway, so I don't want to get bored out.", Anya said as she too, took her leave.

Not long after that happened what seemed like the royal family's butler came in..

"Greetings younglings. My name is Alfonse. Pardon my manners but I had my eyes on you for quite awhile now and I do suppose that you're the champion and that goddess our Paladin has told us about before taking her leave? So please follow me, the king would like to see you.", the butler bowed.

They then followed him, making their way to the kings throne room. He then closed the doors behind them and they saw him. The king of Reingard himself Hateros.

"Well-well, so we finally meet young man! And you too little goddess it is indeed an upmost pleasure to have you both here!", the king smiled.

"You know?!"

"Do not be alarmed. Your secret's safe with me. I was told by our lovely Paladin you see. But you know, with such a presence, this secret won’t be sticking with you for long…"

"Excuse me your highness, but why did you accept me and the goddess in your house just like that?"

"Well for starters, the reward you've earned at the tournament! Wouldn't want all that hard work to go to waste now, would we? And after that...a proposal."

"What type of proposal your highness?", Ikarisa curiously asked.

"Well...as Heista, or Magi I should say, told you, we are living dire times. The gods have forsaken this land in the worst way possible...that's why I believe that it is time for a unison. We need the entire Riza to come together and face the greatest threat we've ever come across by now."

"So Magi also told you her origins too...I am not liking where this is going. Nevertheless it's the harsh truth.", Lass said.

"That's why I would like to offer you a 'job'. Treat it more like an official task. I know that you have to chase down the sentinels across Riza...but if you could also act as some sort of ambassador to the other kingdoms as well I'd be extremely thankful."

"Excuse me your highness but, why us and not you?", Lass asked.

"I'm afraid my word is not going have as much meaning as the word of the champion and the goddess herself. Besides that there are many different creatures of all cultures and traditions scattered across Riza which in some, I might not react accordingly. In addition I'm already too busy with the preparation of our own army for the great assault."

"This sounds way too ominous...I'm sorry your highness. We'll have to decline.", Lass said with a distrustful look.

"Lass!", Ikarisa reacted.

"Ease on Risa. I won't accept any task so long as I don't know absolutely everything about it."

"Looks and acts naïve. But really there's more to it isn't there?, Hateros chuckled. "Very well. I suppose one of you remembers the Great War and the other just knows about it?"

"I do. Lass...we both do.", Ikarisa replied with a sorrow look at Lass.

"But you might not know is the political side of things. In order for each and every kingdom to start a crossfire with each other we had to rely on mana ores...or as it's more formally known as Obsulyte ores.

"Isn't that how it commonly goes? Everything is fueled by Obsulyte anyways.", Lass said.

"Correct. But there is a catch to it. Obsulyte is capable of recovering it's core strength over a decent amount of time...but that happens due to duplication and multiplication of Obsulyte within the ores themselves. Meaning that if all of the Obsulyte is consumed from a certain ore deposit.”

"The ore itself becomes nothing more than a common rock. But how?", Ikarisa wondered.

"The sheer amount of firepower of the Great War's weapon took a major toll on said ores. Many of them where completely depleted and made useless. That is the reason the Great War came into such a forceful and sudden end. Lack of fuel for weapons was the only reason for it. Additionally because of the circumstances at hand many of the kingdoms that were lucky to not be erased off the map, were also forced to write peace treaties that pushed them into economical disaster."

"It's been a good few years since then...shouldn't issues about that show, if things are that bad?", Lass asked.

"In kingdom time, a few years is nothing. Recovery was made near impossible. And the really bad part about all this still rounds back to Obsulyte. Like you said, everything runs on it. While at a neutral state all kingdoms had their own deposits which worked in perfect harmony to all their needs. But ever since the war and the deposits complete depletion without giving them a chance to regenerate, they all held on by several smaller deposits which in turn helped provide a burst of power before they too, were depleted."

"Oh no...so that means we're about to re-enter such state again?", Ikarisa said.

"Unfortunately, that's precisely where I'm heading at. Instead of fully focusing on the army like other kingdoms have however, we came up with two magnificent plans. Obsulyte transfer inside all deposits for their restoration and additionally, a global power plan to help us manipulate power of existing deposits between everyone, with even distribution."

"Sounds all too nice to be easy to succeed...", Lass scoffed.

"Unfortunately again, that is also the deal. Economic disaster and distortion has caused a general distrust between everyone. Not so much the citizens but the higher ups. And all kingdoms are preparing for another global conflict in a desperate attempt to maintain all they have left...that's why I chose you two. You are not only considered third party to ensure fairness, but you also have the title of the creator of this word with you, Goddess of Life, Ikarisa. This all but makes you severely more suitable than a common Reingard ambassador."

"Now that I know, I'll gladly help.", Lass sighed.

"Why did you wait for my confirmation on such information, if I may ask?", Hateros asked Lass.

"Because of Risa. I know what's going on in the world and I also know how everyone is feeling about the Church right now. Such job would obviously require exposure of Risa and her title. Which in turn may only bring harm to her..."

"I'm not weak!", Ikarisa said with a cute and angry face.

"I never said that! But I'm not about to roll my eyes when you get yourself into dangerous situations like this-", Lass's angry reply was cut by Hateros.

"Please. It's more than understandable. And I more than respect and accept your knightly principals and behavior towards the little goddess. However the choice is yours. And before you say anything, no, I of course had a backup plan to send our own representatives to other kingdoms, but of course, given the war ready status and high alert everyone is at, it would have a much lesser effect. Your part in this can not only help save the world another volatile war, but also economically restore and recover all kingdoms suffering the most."

"Fine...I said we will do it.", Lass sighed "It's not that the upcoming of the goddess could be stopped. Risa already used her power during the monster raid and is planning to face Makaro and Kikaro so...at one point the secret would be out anyway."

"Alright. We can help while looking for the other Sentinels and my brothers...but where should we begin?", Ikarisa took a curious look at the throne room's map.

"If I may suggest something I believe that Delpha the City Of Neon. We have recently established an alliance for the Great Assault but here and 3 months they've been inactive as far as responses and calls for help we've made to them. I'd love it if you could head there and reestablish the alliance. In addition Gardard is fairly close to Delpha if you take the regional road and I've heard words and rumors about some of the Sentinels being there."

"Wait...Great Assault?", Lass jolted.

"The reason why I know of the gods and their doing is because we accepted the audience of Delpha officials, while other kingdoms declined. They have not only found out about their plans, but have managed to secure certain Sentinel and God Army positions. They where the ones who found all this out, and suggested an alliance for the Great Assault against the gods themselves. The plan does require the work of all kingdoms at once, which not only saves the world from certain destruction, but also strengthens the relationships between said kingdoms. Really everyone wins. That's why I suggested the job to you in the first place...I knew about your plans given the situation at hand."

"That's perfect! Thank you your highness! Me and Lass will be off to prepare for the journey that follows!", Ikarisa said in excitement, her eyes sparkling.

"Safe travels my friends. Shall you require anything on your journey we will, as a nation, provide.", the king said with a smile.

With that they left the palace and immediately headed to Anya's shop to tell her to prepare for the journey that follows. Lass had hoped that this turned out well...he was unsure if defeat was ever even an option to begin with. And he really did hope that the now battle ready Ikarisa ended up making this. It was also running late .Almost about to break dawn. So the real adventure was about to begin...
