The sky was turning darker and darker. But not because of the incoming night, but cause of the endless slew of fires, birthing up and forth a cloud of thick wide smog. He stood in the center alone, not a word to be told, not a single move. Just a soul that could have been standing among the many other souls who has fallen before, gazing up trying and find a singular ray of light to escape the calamity brought forth. He did not know why everything...looked so oddly familiar. The buildings he once knew now turned to rubble, the faces from his nightmares burned to an indistinguishable black. The indomitable rage, sadness, despair and regret, all of these feelings are so, so familiar...yet he was unable to explain anything that was happening. his existince, the familiarities he is seeing. To him, it was all a mystery.
Snapping out his initial shock, he cried out a few words to his ever growing nightmare...
"What the hell is this? Where am I? What's going on?!"
He muttered to himself, not an answer to be received. And all but every word and every sentence was accompanied by the ever growing flow of tears rolling down his eyes. He knew where he was and knew all the faces that were driven through the mud, but at the same time he did not.
And as his tears stopped rolling, a figure that stood out as the most fammiliar and most hated, as the figure has risen up from the rubble and the ashes. He could not see the face behind the female silhouette but he could most definitely know one thing and one thing only about her. He hated her More than he hated himself. The female figure pulled up her arm, lance at hand and pointed it directly at him.

"Welcome back.", she said to him. "I hope you remember it, I hope you remember all of this.", she chuckled.
"What am I saying...you're too selfish to do so!"
With a thrust of her arm, and her body's entire weight behind a single move, she hurdled her lance at him. The impact was enough to turn the boulders and the rubbles of the broken buildings into dust, and turned his will that was shattered into ashes.
He turned his feelings into actions in an instance, grabbing the lance she threw towards him straight back, only for her to be easily able to grab the edge of the weapon with ease.
"Who are you?! What am I doing here?", he yelled.
"I'm the one who's going to kill you...and you're here to suffer.", she swiftly answered both his questions back.
She flipped the edge of her lance and once again grabbed it from its handle. She then jumped directly onto him, pinning him against the ground and stepping on his stomach.
"Tsk. I knew this was all you had to give. Doesn't matter...it's all a dream in the end. But I'll guarantee you this...even when you wake up, even when you think you're safe...I'll kill you. I'll kill you now like I did then. You will pay and you will suffer."
She spoke her words filled with equal amounts of spite and hatred targeted towards him, he was unable to make a single move again. The mere sight of the silhouette above him and the background of the break of dawn behind her had him paralyzed and unable to move. She slowly grabbed her lance with both hands and raised it above his chest.
"Go ahead and wake up. It's far from over...checkmate."

Using all her strength, not giving him a chance to speak, she drove her lance directly through his chest, breaking through both sides and creating cracks to the ground he laid on behind him.
A gruesome scene come to an end, he could catch a glimpse of how it all went down, as he felt his body leaving him behind, lightly ascending to the light above. Was it over? It was...or rather, it was going to. All he could do is watch, as a transient through his own mind.
His eyes now wide open, he greeted the world as always, emotionless, cold and a poker face . Despite what he saw what he felt ,his awakening included nothing out of the unusual. He was already used to it...
