《The Reincarnation of the Transcendental》Chapter 3: Medicine

Chapter 3: Medicine
Three hundred and fifty-nine days.
It had been a while since the failure of the first rebellion that ended with him in a draw with that barbaric jailer.
Although it was a disastrous event and a failure in multiple ways, it had one advantage.
“Do you have any discomfort, young master?” The babysitter asked curiously.
That babysitter was observing him, rummaging through him for any sense of reason and understanding, but he did so not out of fear, doubt, or caution, but with an interest in pleasing him.
And now the babysitter was fixing what he called a headrest, which was actually a pillow.
—Move it further to the right. —Zack ordered mentally... A name that, as an honorable transcendental after a draw, he agreed to wear.
“Wa... Waa...”
He was a being of the mind and a transcendental who knew how to make concessions and more to more dangerous enemies and while it had to be emphasized that he did not lose, he had to step back and accept the name as his own.
He was Zack, the strongest transcendental of all.
A title that was still unbeatable, no matter how many draws he had!
“Don’t be angry, young master. I will,” the babysitter replied calmly.
Even though what came out of his mouth was a babble, the babysitter could understand him, and that was thanks to the mental connection they had.
Not only had he occupied the babysitter’s mind and body, but he had left an excellent mode of communication that could be used to communicate or threaten.
And after threatening to hang his head, the babysitter had acted submissive and bowed to his power.
“Better?” the babysitter asked.
The headrest was comfortable and he could relax his weight, allowing him to rest for a moment.
He had been born as one of the most pathetic inferior races he had ever known.
An inferior race whose offspring could be crushed under their own heads!
Of course, he would not deny that his overwhelming power had something to do with his head being bigger, but the race had to be criticized for flaws of this sort.
—Inferior beings...—He growled under his breath.
This time he said it mentally, causing the babysitter to shudder at the sound of his transcendental, peerless voice.
The good thing was that he did not maintain this connection and, thanks to the babysitter taking over, he could store his power by meditating again.
“Your father has been working hard and will soon help you with the issue of your... Body,” the babysitter informed and, smiling at him to cheer him up, he murmured. “I heard that today they would give you the solution.”
They were about to go to the hospital like several times before.
His head frightened his jailers, who recognized the magnitude of his mind and took him to a doctor with the intention of preventing its development.
He would have resisted, but he had to agree that his magnificent mind could not fit this puny body and if he continued to do nothing, his head would grow more developed than his body.
And one day he wouldn’t be able to bear the weight.
Nothing unusual when right now his legs and hands were barely moving with recurring pains.
A reason why inferior beings were inferior beings.
Enjoying the new headrest that settled around his neck and allowed him to see the gigantic metal building that was the hospital.
He surveyed the building.
It was such a tall building that he could not count how many floors it had and different people filled this place wearing metal elements on their skulls.

Some in lines across their foreheads and others on different parts of their faces, and it was nothing unusual when this building was a cybernetic and genetic enhancement hospital.
He disliked the former a bit when some stopped having minds and pushed away any chance of transcending.
Becoming less than inferior beings.
“...”
Lamenting the existence of those insignificant beings, he paused when he saw the jailer who, as soon as she saw him, came over to embrace him and lift him up in her embrace.
“I missed you, my baby.”
The barbarian’s voice rang in his ear and he had to endure the torture of being moved as he barely supported the weight of his head and the worst part was, when she set him down next to those meat bags, it was soothing.
Of course, he was aware that it was a trap, and more so when the drug contained in those meat bags was too powerful and addictive.
That bestial feeling wanted to come out from inside him, seeking to drink that drug, but as a transcendental being, he restrained himself.
His torturer, oblivious to his difficulty, carried him and they descended an elevator several floors until they exited through an open hallway.
Then they moved to a hospital ward and, like other times, the one who called himself his father was present and this time conversing with a strange creature.
It was a man with a metallic silver body from the neck down and half of the left side of the face was silver metal and the other side was fake flesh.
It was a synthetic... A creature with no mind and only data, one of the worst beings that could exist.
A vile entity whose mind would never be touched by the Astral Realm… An aberration.
“Don’t move, Zack. Don’t be afraid,” the man who called himself his father said.
He stood next to that aberration and told him to calm down? Then mentioned to him not to be afraid?
He, a transcendental, would fear a mindless being?
All he felt was disgust and rejection!
“William is a friend of mine. He’ll help us with your little problem,” the male jailer said.
Austin was the name of that jailer and if he gave him a point for stopping the blow from the barbarian woman who was holding him earlier, now he was starting to dislike him.
He was not going to feel sympathy for his jailers!
Holding back his fury at the realization that he was in the barbaric woman’s arms, he managed to control that dislike and she sat him on a type of bench, which was reshaped to fit his body and head.
“Hold still, boy,” commanded the talking tin.
The bench adjusted to fit his head and robotic hands emerged from the sides and encircle his arms and body, without discomfort or pressure.
He focused on a mirror that reflected his big head figure and full body.
He had purple eyes that showed his overwhelming power, even in a childish body and gray hair similar to the jailers.
His head was big and dignified as always, barely holding his overwhelming power in a physical container.
Leading to his body from his neck down being weak, thin and not strong enough.
“So what’s wrong, William?” Austin asked, eyeing the tin man.
The mirror lit up and then moved back as the bed adjusted to fit his head and body, allowing him to lie in a better position than with his headrest carrier.
Should he steal this beautiful medical chair?

“It has overwhelming mental strength. It’s impressive,” the metal being said and observing his jailers, he announced. “So impressive that his body is changing, trying to support his power. All the nutrients and all the growth have gone to his head. Eventually, his power will exceed what his body can withstand and he will perish.”
Basically, he could be free.
‘Could’ had to be emphasized, as this physical body was part of his being and thus could be affected if it came to harm.
It was a prison in a strict sense of the word, withholding both his power and the release of his true self.
His jailers showed an expression of sorrow and fear.
Nothing unusual when the tin man had just mentioned to them that the prison they designed for him was going to be insufficient to contain him.
“So there is only the option of genetic enhancement left,” the jailer named Austin muttered.
“That’s right. Your kind are rare and no doubt physically strong. But we’re talking about a mental force that pushes for the body to adapt and change,” the metal man replied and, looking at the female jailer, he explained. “Your husband has a method. But I recommend an X-grade genetic enhancement. It is painful and dangerous, but if your son is forcing his body to adapt, he is likely to force the genetic enhancement as well.”
“Grade X? No. I will not put my son through hell. I’d rather limit him on my own. Withhold his mental strength and force his body to focus on growing his physique by limiting his mental strength,” Austin replied, giving a serious look.
“Why? If he can get the compound to suit him, your son will be able to retain his mental strength and your people’s physical ability. This is the most logical decision.” The tin man replied and....
“ENOUGH!”
The female jailer’s voice sounded like a shout that caused a slight tremor and while she moved objects, nothing actually reached Zack, who watched.
Proof that this barbaric woman meticulously controlled her ability and was a danger.
"We'll go out and argue somewhere else," the woman said and, giving him a smile, she murmured. “We’ll be back in a moment, my little boy. Jon, can you take over?”
“Of course,” the babysitter replied as the others left the room.
They were discussing his fate without asking him, not surprising when these people were his jailers.
However, he would not be left defenseless.
—What are genetic enhancements, and why don’t they want to use it? —He asked in a mental connection with the babysitter, who was surprised again.
He gave him a look and hesitated whether to speak.
What he could understand was that this metal man wanted to try a new rare medicine that could be torture and for the purpose of experimentation, but at the same time, it could be the key for him to finally be free.
While the male jailer sought to restrict and limit him, wanting him to live as long as possible to torture him as long as he could and seal his immeasurable power to prevent him from escaping.
Despite the jailers deciding his fate, the babysitter acted in submission, recognizing his immeasurable power and fearing it.
The babysitter was the perfect source of information.
—It’s a... Medicine. It acts in mysterious ways, and for that reason, it is dangerous and painful. It can help people become super. —The babysitter replied, hesitating from time to time.
Didn’t he want to reveal everything? Or was he unaware of these matters?
The answer was enough for him who understood what was important.
The supers were those human beings with peculiarities that possessed a multiplicity of abilities of all kinds.
He had assumed that they were born that way, but apparently they could also get unique abilities with those medicines called genetic enhancements.
—Don’t worry, young master. Your parents will never force you to take a genetic compound. —The babysitter said and smiling at him to cheer him up, revealed. —His father is a specialist and will help you.
Help? Limiting him and sealing his power so he could suffer the torture of both was ‘help’?
At least the tin man had the decency to want him to suffer directly in an experiment first, accepting the risk of his release.
However, those two jailers were cruel, vindictive, and cautious.
He would never be free from this world, let alone be able to take revenge on those jailers who imprisoned him in this big head body.
So there was only one option left.
—I know, and that’s why I have to get the medicine myself. Without them knowing. —He muttered and looking at the babysitter who was surprised, he revealed. —And I will need your help.
The babysitter looked surprised, as if he had misheard and watched him with the face of someone dumbfounded.
Surprised by his incredible and impeccable line of thinking? His jailers would never find out, and all he needed to do was keep the babysitter’s mouth shut.
An easy thing to do when the babysitter had recognized his power and feared him from the depths of his being and it was enough to become submissive to the point that he would willingly clean up his feces.
—They are difficult... Almost impossible to get legally. —The babysitter said and, realizing that he spoke too much involuntarily, he remembered. —And you have to think about the money, young master. It is preferable that you ask your parents for help. They...
He bowed his head, letting it fall, and the babysitter was silent as he saw the enormity of the prison that contained his might.
In the end, that man could not contain his terror and submissively helped him settle his head in the same place, giving a trembling expression.
—If it is not possible by legal means, we will resort to illegal ones. —Zack answered, and seeing that the babysitter doubted his magnificent plan, he questioned. —As for the money... Do you have savings?
The babysitter’s expression changed, and they both looked at each other for a few seconds until the babysitter finally looked away.
Realizing the depth and grandeur of his plan and, above all, realizing that his will was unstoppable.
If his jailers wanted to lock him up, and he was to seek out that medicine the metal man spoke of and use it on himself.
As long as he could obtain a medicine that would allow him to use his powers with greater freedoms, it would be enough to start with and if possible, he would get a medicine that would help him prevent his head from crushing his body.
If this body was destroyed, it could end up freeing him or it could end up dissolving his being and knowing his wary jailers, it was likely that they would have set up such a trap.
After all, those jailers wanted to keep him locked up and torture him in the weakest possible state.
And he would never give them a chance to be victorious.
