《MY Life In The Multiverse》Chapter 139: Space mission

'Hmmm, who should I bring with me to this mission in space?' Wondered Yuki as he stared at Shizue and Yurei who were having lunch with him…
'I guess Yurei is the best choice even if his fighting capability is worse than hers, since he makes up for it in terms of sneakiness and defense…'
"Oy Yurei, can you go buy some oxygen tanks?" asked Yuki suddenly while wolfing down his food happily and Yurei didn't think much of it and directly answered "What for? Do you want to try water diving or something?"
Yuki shook his head lazily and responded "Nah, we are going to try space diving"
The spoon that was making its way to Yurei's mouth suddenly froze midair and he couldn't help but reply with a wry smile "Space?... we?"
Yuki replied to him with a nod while still eating his meal happily but Yurei didn't waste anytime and directly started running in the opposite direction from Yuki while thinking 'That guy has finally gone nuts I guess…'
After running for 15 minutes, he arrived at an internet café and heaved a sigh of relief "Thankfully I ran away just in time, I will spend a few days here until the craziness goes away from his head" Muttered Yurei and was preparing to exit the dark alley he was currently in since he was traveling sneakily so that Yuki doesn't find him.
But before he got the chance to do so, the scenery suddenly changed in front of him and he found himself in front of the table where he was just sitting 15 minutes ago…
"Hi there…" Spoke Yurei awkwardly realizing that he was just summoned by Yuki and he had nowhere to run… not to mention that all the food was gone and the bastard in front of him was rubbing his tummy with a satisfied expression on his face…
'This bastard, he intentionally didn't summon me right away to finish the food first, what a devil' thought Yurei as his still empty stomach started making gurgling sounds…
Shizue giggled at him and said "I wish I could go with you two, but apparently I'm not that suitable for the job"
'And in what way do I look suitable for a space trip, I haven't even skydived before…' thought Yurei but he didn't say anything as Yuki simply handed him some money and said "Stop whining and go buy what I told you, It won't take too long"
Yurei took the money and left reluctantly, but Yuki saw a terrifying look in his eyes as he turned around that gave him chills and he couldn't help but turn to Shizue and say "Can you please keep an eye on him in the future?"
Shizue smiled warmly at Yuki and said "I don't think I'm suitable for this job as well" then she stood up and left the room as well leaving Yuki alone with an awkward smile on his face "It seems like she's quite angry at me… Well, I can't have her risk her life for nothing… At least that ghost is expandable and can survive for much longer than her…"

Yuki felt another chill behind him and suddenly Yurei came out of the wall with a completely dark look on his face as his blue eyes shined with a cold light…" Y-Yurei, what are you doing here?"
"Just forgot my phone... just forgot my phone" Replied Yurei with a cold and eerie voice as he walked to pick up his phone, but his eyes were fixedly staring at Yuki all the time during this process and even after he left…
'Okay, I'm fucked…'
…..
2 days later
Inside the special launching base of the company space Q. Two individuals moved underground while passing through the ground like ghosts…
One of them had dark hair and an eerie air surrounding his figure but his face was quite energetic… Meanwhile, the other had an air full of depression as his eyes had huge bags under them and he clearly lacked sleep
These were of course Yuki and Yurei who were currently trying to get into the satellite that was going to be launched soon…
'I can't believe this bastard would team up with those demons to curse me for real' thought Yuki while glaring at Yurei's back…
In the past two days, these bastards made his life a living hell as they summoned a nightmare demon and made it constantly harass him when he tries to sleep… All the while his bastard neighbors kept pretending that they didn't have a hand in this, but the smug smiles whenever they saw his tired face and bloodshot eyes easily exposed their true natures as the true perpetrators behind all of this…
'I will take my revenge sooner or later' vowed Yuki with a cold look in his eyes as he made his way through the base until they arrived inside the satellite launch place…
"You remember the plan?" Asked Yuki suddenly and Yurei responded with a quick nod "Yes, I won't be reckless, phantom phasing might not be enough to save us from the dangers of space travel so I will wait inside the satellite until you summon me again"
Hearing that Yurei remembered the plan perfectly, Yuki wasn't in the least delighted by it and simply snorted… He hoped Yurei would forget and ends up dying in space but it didn't seem like it was going to happen unfortunately…
"Now then, time to get ready for our trip" muttered Yuki calmly as he prepared himself mentally before he directly activated his greed and master of self and took control of everyone responsible for the launch of the satellite!
After doing some research, Yuki understood that satellites are usually sent to a distance of around 36000 km from the earth where they then keep rotating in its orbit. However, the moon was 10 times further than this distance, so he had to make some adjustments.
No one realized that a few hundred people had just lost all of their free will in just a few instants, but they will soon find out that something wasn't right as Yuki gave the order to adjut the direction of where the satellite is going to be sent and made it go directly at the moon without trying to stabilize itself at the earth's orbit…

"Make the correct adjustments for this satellite to land on the moon" Ordered Yuki and the people under his control instantly went to work on it…
'This trip will take a while' thought Yuki as he recalled that the speed of the shuttle was around 28000 Km/H! meaning that he would reach his destination in a bit more than 10 hours…
[Warning, Warning, Launch will start in 10 seconds]
Alarm sounds started ringing, and some people who were observing the situation from different locations in the world were quite surprised by the sudden launch that was happening 15 minutes before its predetermined time…
However, there was nothing they can do as Yuki quickly entered the shuttle while Yurei waited for him to check out the situation before he gets summoned just in case something unpredictable happens such as the shuttle exploding midair…
Yuki can survive this kind of explosion easily but the same can't be said for Yurei…
….
Yuki listened silently as the countdown slowly got to zero and eventually, he was launched into space, and the quick shift in speed almost made him dizzy but he soon got used to it and waited for a few seconds…
"It seems like nothing wrong has happened, this is good" muttered Yuki while letting out a sigh of relief since he didn't want to redo this operation and directly summoned Yurei who didn't feel anything since the speed of the shuttle was stable…
"Yurei, I will rely on you to guide the satellite with your psychic powers in case we deviate from the correct course or if we encounter some space rubble" spoke Yuki calmly before he took a seat on the floor.
Yurei nodded back at him and sat beside him while using his Psychic power to observe the outside of the satellite and kept an eye on where they were heading…
…
People on earth realized that they lost control over the satellite and that it was heading way off its original course, but they weren't able to regain control over it no matter how much they tried as Yuki made sure to disable all of these measures while he was still in control of the people at the station.
10 hours later, Yurei and Yuki could finally see a large white object enlarging in their vision… thanks to Yurei's telekinesis, they didn't deviate from their course at all, In fact, they used his loyal ability to shield the vessel as well so that it doesn't get damaged from the elements in space.
"Yuki, do you have any idea where we should go when we land on the moon?" asked Yurei suddenly, to which Yuki froze slightly before he said with a confident smile "Of course I do, don't worry about it"
Yurei nodded hesitantly at this full of fear of asking the wrong question especially since it didn't escape him the insane look that quickly flashed through Yuki's tired eyes…
'I really hope he's not lying…' He thought and kept praying… However, they did land on the moon, and after moving around for a few hours, Yurei's worries started increasing especially when he noticed that his oxygen tank was already almost empty "Yuki, are you sure you know where we are going?"
Yuki nodded confidently and replied "Of course, it's just behind that mountain"
Yurei glanced at the gray crater they were walking on before he stared at the mountain Yuki was pointing at and he couldn't help but reply "But this is the tenth time you said this"
Yuki froze slightly once more before he replied "What are you worried about? Our oxygen tanks are still full aren't they?"
'What's this bastard talking about?' Wondered Yurei before he said awkwardly "No, mine is almost empty, I will need to change it soon"
'Hmm?' Yuki was truly surprised by this… 'Mine only lost 10% of its full capacity, is this bastard playing a trick on me so that I let him leave?' wondered Yuki before he suddenly realized something 'Wait, this must be the effect of my natural breathing… This is probably why I'm not consuming too much oxygen… I guess I can't keep torturing him with me, it would be a waste of those pricy oxygen tanks…'
"Fine you can leave, but be ready, I might summon you if I need your help" spoke Yuki to which Yurei nodded hurriedly and thanked him before he was sent away through dimensional link only to end up appearing in front of Maou who was at work.
Maou at first didn't understand what was happening as a weirdo in a diving suit suddenly appeared in front of him and he directly made time stop 'What's going on? Wait, isn't this Yurei, what is he doing appearing like this in front of a crowded area while dressed like a pervert, this idiot…'
Meanwhile, Yuki in his diving suit continued his journey on the moon alone searching for the base which he clearly didn't know the location of…

Meg The Heavenly Merchant
Updates once a week.(This is a rough draft) Author's Note: This story has grown in ways I did not predict and while it still features a merchant those aspects have gotten less page time than the fighting and romance elements. I have updated the description to represent the story better) For the past fourteen years Meg has dedicated herself to walking the path of a Heavenly Dragon Knight in her favorite videogame, Tattered Realms:Chaos Age. But now the game is shutting down and everyone wants to know what she plans to do for the sequel. Meg isn't sure at first. She knows only that she yearns for the days when she could lose herself in a game without worrying about boss strategies and crushing her rivals. And when her friend suggests playing a merchant her heart is filled with the same wanderlust and inspiration that launched her gaming career in the first place. But if she isn't dominating dungeons and setting records will people still watch her play? And can she really walk away from all the fighting for a quiet life of buying and selling?
