《MY Life In The Multiverse》Chapter 133: Time to go back

The meeting between the various leaders concluded with the holy empire of Ruberious negotiating with the rest of the western nations on their behalf, and during the next few days, the news quickly spread That Tempest was officially recognized as a country, as well as Yuki being a merciful hero that didn't kill the invading soldiers and decided to free them.
However, only the leaders of the various western kingdom knew just how much they lost to have this end so peacefully…
….
Meanwhile, Yuki was sitting calmly on his bed and having a nap when a notification suddenly appeared in front of him
[Quest task 5 completed]
[Accept rewards: Yes/No]
'Hmm? It seems like this is the best I can achieve with this mission huh' Thought Yuki curiously before he accepted the rewards and a notification soon appeared in front of him
[You gained Ring of twilight]
[Host has overperformed in this mission with his fame as both a demon lord and a hero spreading throughout the world. You gained 2 item upgrade points]
A ring suddenly appeared in front of Yuki, it was a silver ring with a black and white gem on top, and it was so beautiful to the point that Yuki was almost mesmerized by it, and after observing it for a while, he curiously clicked on its description
[Ring of Twilight (1/10): Increases the host's magic Damage by 100%. For each day that passes, The ring absorbs the light of the sun and the moon and generates twilight energy that increases the host's attributes by 0.1 x the number of days accumulated. Current increase 0]
Yuki's eyes almost dropped out of their sockets as he thought 'Isn't this the same as endlessly getting stronger?' A rush of excitement flowed through Yuki's body and he truly felt like the trip to this world was truly worth it.
He made many friends, robbed many others, and even got an opportunity to meet his grandpa, although it was unfortunate that he couldn't use dimensional link on him for some reason but he was sure that he will locate him someday in the future after seeing just how strong he was…
However, all good things had to eventually end and his time to leave this world has come!
…
As if overhearing his thoughts, a notification suddenly appeared in front of him
[Chain Quest: Footsteps in another world (Completed)]
[Host has greatly overperformed in all tasks… calculating overall rewards…]
Yuki's heart started beating rapidly, his first quest granted him the overpowered dimensional link. However, he also understood that different from his first chain quest: eye of the storm, the condition of failure for this one wasn't death, so the rewards might get lowered as a result…

[Calculation complete]
[You have received 5 skill points, 2 item upgrade points, Skill: Turret summoning, Ability: Despair]
Yuki instantly clicked on the description of the skill and the ability he just gained and his eyes couldn't help but widen in surprise
[Turret summoning (1/10): Allows the host to summon a Giant crossbow that can shoot 4 kinds of arrows depending on the host's wishes (Normal arrows, Poison arrows, Fire arrows, and Frost arrows) Dealing 50% of the host's damage and attacking at half the rate of the host's Max attack speed and has 20% of the host's durability. Cost: 1000 Mana. Cooldown: 30 seconds]
The grin on Yuki's face turned so creepy to the point that it almost reached his ears as he thought '20% of my durability? Isn't this the same as having unbreakable Turrets? This system is really nasty with the way it chooses my rewards'
Yuki couldn't help but release a maniacal laugh that made everyone run far away from his house that somehow was still intact despite the whole fighting that happened… This was of course no coincidence as Yuki made sure to reinforce it with the best materials and magic…
'Let's see the ability, I don't like the name but what matter's the effect' He thought as he clicked on its description
[Despair: Effect 1: Grants the user a unique aura that deals damage to the enemies near him in the form of continuous mental damage (10% of the host's magic).
Effect 2: Absorb the despair around the host and accumulate it in a concentrated attack ( deals up to 1000% of the user's Magic)]
"Not bad, if I couple this with my desperation strike, the outcome would be…" An evil aura ignited around Yuki just at the thought of what he can do with this ability but he quickly extinguished as he started laughing once more…
….
A huge party was held in Tempest to celebrate the end of the war, during the past few days, Rimuru revived those that died… Although he didn't care much about the invaders.
The party was great, Yuki got to enjoy a lot of delicious food made by Shizue and Sacha and many others and he ended up having another competition with Milim to see who could eat more!
"Milim, Milim, Milim"
"Yuki, Yuki, Yuki"
Everyone drank and chanted for who they wanted to see as a winner despite the fact that no prize was on the line…
"Yuki seems to be enjoying himself" Said Rimuru to Leon who was sitting beside him and the latter simply shook his head and said "You guys better start eating before those two gluttons finish all the food by themselves…"
"They wouldn't do such a thing… right?" Asked Rimuru innocently but he then laid eyes on Yuki and Milim and noticed the weird smirks they kept shooting each other while they shoved food repeatedly down their mouths!

"Damn it, Don't let them eat all the food!" Yelled Rimuru as he also rushed to eat and soon the whole scene fell into chaos as a huge fight broke out and Yuki started punching and kicking in all directions sending anyone that approached his share of the food flying away…
Leon shook his head at this and kept eating elegantly, although the faint smile on his face showed his true feelings about this.
"Oh, how rare to see you smiling like this" Spoke Luminous who was nagging Hinata the whole time to get her back to Ruberious, but nothing seemed to work with that thick-headed woman so she decided to bother Leon instead.
"Hmph" Leon snorted at her and didn't say anything which made Luminous shrug at him and turned her attention to Yuki before she said "What a weird man… Seeing him like this makes it hard to believe what he can truly do… The leaders of the western nations kept begging me to save them from his demands…"
"You should see what could happen if he finds where your treasury is" Spoke Leon with a slightly paler look on his face and Luminous ended up asking curiously "Is it really that bad?"
Leon nodded with a reluctant look in his eyes as if he was remembering a bad memory that made Luminous vow to never allow Yuki near any of her vaults…
…
The party went on for a long time, and everyone ended up blacking out from drinking too much and slept directly on the ground under the night sky… Everyone except for one person… Yuki.
He stood up as silent as a ghost, stared at every single one of his friends, then used his soul power to float away without making any sound so as to not wake them up… However, just as he arrived outside of Tempest, a man appeared from the shadows right behind him and asked creepily "Yuki-sama, where are you going this late in the night?"
"Damn it Kayle, have you never heard of someone wanting to take a piss after drinking too much?"
Replied Yuki with an annoyed look on his face and Kayle simply smirked and said "You don't mind me joining you do you? I've been holding it for a while as well"
Yuki's had a frown on his face while staring at Kayle and just as his voice faded away, another voice rang beside his ear "Oh, what a coincidence, I was also about to take a piss"
'What's this freaking demon doing here as well? Aren't these two supposed to never get along?' Thought Yuki as he stared at the smirking Diablo before he shrugged slightly and said "Do as you find suitable, just be careful and don't step in front of me… You might drown"
Diablo chuckled slightly and followed after Yuki along with Kayle and before Yuki could even understand what was going on, one figure after another started appearing behind him…
Rimuru, Leon, Milim, Benimaru, Hakurou, Gazel, Elmesia, Shizue… One after the other, they appeared behind him making him sigh loudly and ask "So all of you want to piss as well huh? Fine here I go—" Yuki moved his hand to open the fly on his pants and show them his big boss but Hinata appeared quickly in front of him and punched him in the head…
"What are you doing you crazy woman?" Asked Yuki as he turned around to stare at the expression on everyone behind him and he could see the clear sadness on their faces which they were barely hiding including Kayle and Diablo which made him freeze slightly…
"Yuki, I will miss you" Yelled Milim before she ran and gave him a hug that almost twisted his spine, and the others soon started saying how much they would miss him as well…
Yuki patted Milim absentmindedly and he couldn't help but mutter "How did you all know?"
Rimuru shot Yuki a weird look and said "How can we not? This is the only day you didn't follow your daily routine of going to the treasury and stealing something from it so of course, we guessed that something was wrong…"
'I guess these guys know me far better than I thought' thought Yuki with a warm smile on his face before he said "Don't worry, I will visit you guys once more"
Some of them nodded at this, while others started tearing up, especially the girls, but among them was also a young boy with short golden hair and eyes… It was Dariun who learned to transform into a human form under the teaching of Raphael…
"Come here you guys" Said Yuki as he started giving each of them a hug with a heartwarming smile on his face… and at last, he arrived in front of Shizue "Come visit us as soon as possible" She said while barely holding back her tears and Yuki couldn't help but say "What are you talking about? You will be coming with me"
Shizue's face instantly lit up pleasantly surprised at the thought of visiting her old world 'I wonder how much it changed'

Flame Beneath The Snowfall
Alto is a world governed by Tones. Magic, as one might call it. Manifested through deep mental and physical conditioning, one can control the Tones in a way that is unique to them. The power to store items in gems, transfer life, affect a person's mind, and even the more primal abilities such as control of the elements. Those who have these supernatural abilities are called 'Vassals.' People that fully manifest their abilities are not as common as one might think, and not all Vassals acquire their ability through practice, given if conditions are met. In fact, those who had received much trauma manifest the Tones more frequently, albeit spontaneously. However, the rare kind of Vassals are those who manifest it from childhood. A gift, but not without its repercussions. Alto is stuck in a transitional era, where the line between modern and dated technology is blurred. One can travel to a city that has a tall skyline, bustling with people in sophisticated clothing, or a mere town governed by a lord, all the while riding on a powered vehicle. Cultures vary: Some turn to the more dated practices such as castes, others are more inclined to set equal footing on their people, led by nobility. Some are dedicated to become scholars, studying Alto's Tones, while others set foot on hunts, protecting lone towns from the creatures of some of the still-untamed lands. And the Vassals? Those willing are took under The Organization, an elusive group, its presence said to permeate all throughout Alto, taking care of Rogue Vassals that abuse their abilities and other businesses related to their side. But what is this story all about, you may ask? Well, set your sights on the upper portions of this huge landmass that is Alto. Yes, the 'whole' world is called Alto, but that is because the majority of the known people live on this large continent. Relieve yourself of the worrying tensions everywhere, and see the white snow. Trace the piercing mountaintops and focus your eyes between the valley. A town sits there. Mido. After realizing that the memories only left in his mind was the night of his town's imminent destruction in flames, a boy finds himself grasping for every fiber of his life as he lays down flat on the ground. Beneath him was soot mixed with the white snow. Fortunately, a group of investigators, who were supposed to answer their call for help, saved him from his sorry state. With a newfound second wind, but hampered by his loss of memory, he must solve his own case: Who had the audacity to set Mido, his town, aflame? Flame Beneath the Snowfall focuses on action, with a sense of adventure, but mostly the discovery of an outside world, and the protagonist's exposure to it. Add in a whisk of soft magical elements, and you get a story that I hope will be interesting to the readers. That is not to say that my work is without the sense of unnerving atmosphere, however. As a forewarning, there are elements of gore, horror, minor elements of mental trauma, etc. so it is not for all audiences. *The book is already completed. Although I have plans to continue the story (it would have to involve much larger scope in terms of world-building), I have yet to decide when to start the next entry.
