《MY Life In The Multiverse》Chapter 103: Putting ogres to sleep

Inside his house, Yuki kept spasming on the floor of his room because of how bored he was feeling, and it got to the point that Shizue tried to exorcise him...
But thankfully it didn't take long before he heard a commotion outside the village signifying the event he was waiting for so he quickly changed into a proper and cool appearance, and not long after, Rigurd came running to his house and said nervously "Yuki-sama, we are being attacked by ogres and one of our hunting squads had already been brought down so Rimuru-sama rushed to confront them on his own"
"Oh, Finally something interesting is happening" muttered Yuki before he stood up with an eerie light on his eyes and left the house but he suddenly stopped and said to Rigurd with a smile "You owe me one"
After Yuki was far away from him, Rigurd finally swallowed his saliva and muttered to himself "I wonder what's worse, being killed by ogres or owing this devil a favor... I guess I can't only find out in the future"
….
Outside the village, Rimuru was having a confrontation with the ogres, and surprisingly, Shizue was there as well trying to reason with them, but they kept saying that she was responsible for the destruction of their village which surprised the two of them…
"Wait, this must be a misunderstanding" Said Rimuru but a red-haired ogre that was carrying a katana didn't want to speak reason with them, especially in his current emotional state of losing almost 300 of his clansmen and having only 6 survive the onslaught of being killed by orcs so he ended up attacking the two of them with a wave of ogre flames but it did no damage to them at all…
Shocked looks appeared on the faces of the ogres after seeing how Rimuru and Shizue easily resisted the flames and Shizue even tried again to solve the situation peacefully when a rock came flying from the distance and hit the red-haired ogre right on the side of his head and knocked him out cold…
"Ohh, I'm still good at aiming" Yuki's delighted voice echoed from the distance completely different from the action he just did, and it shilled the hearts of all the ogres as one of them that had white hair and clothes instantly stared at Yuki's direction and said with his eyes narrowed "How dare you attack the young master—"
However midway through his sentence, another rock came flying at him but he quickly split it in two with his sword skillfully…
The other ogres finally reacted to what was happening and a pink-haired one instantly rushed to the red-haired one with a worried look on her face and asked "Brother, are you okay?"
However, her brother was enjoying some nice rocky dreams and he couldn't reply to her…
"Not bad old man" said Yuki before appearing from behind Rimuru and Shizue who stared at him with looks that said 'Did you really have to go this far' and Yuki simply shrugged at them and faced the old man…

"Kid, you are strong, but strength isn't everything" said the old man confident in his sword skills but Yuki simply waved his hand and said "Indeed, strength isn't everything, so how about you have a nap just like your young master"
After saying this, Yuki threw another rock at the old man who was about to cut it again and mock Yuki but the latter suddenly raised his hand and the pink-haired girl noticed something and yelled to warn him "Careful, he's using a skill" But it was too late as ice hands sprouted from the ground and held all the ogres in place before he finished them off with a few stone throws…
"Now then Rimuru, take them back to the village and investigate the reason behind them attacking our people" Said Yuki and Rimuru couldn't help but think 'You just gave them a reason to attack us in the future' but he ended up replying in confusion "Yuki-san, didn't you notice that our people were only put to sleep and none of them were harmed? Why did you go this far?"
"I just did the same and put them to sleep as well" Said Yuki as a matter of fact but Rimuru and Shizue didn't agree with him as the latter couldn't help but say "Being put to sleep by a spell and by a rock to the head is definitely not the same"
Yuki chuckled at her and said "Don't worry, I threw it hard enough to the point that they won't even remember how they fell asleep in the first place"
Rimuru smiled awkwardly and said "No, they probably won't even remember who they are anymore"
Yuki decided to change this losing argument and said "Don't mind the small stuff, call me when they wake up" before he ran back home leaving Rimuru and Shizue sighing to themselves while staring at the poor ogres that weren't spared whether they were females or males…
….
The next day, the ogres finally woke up and after finding themselves in what they thought was enemy territory yet unharmed, they decided to open up about their reasons for attacking the goblins and it was none other than Shizue's resemblance with the masked person that led a horde of orcs and destroyed their village…
"I see, a high-level Majin huh?" asked Rimuru curiously and the red-haired ogre responded calmly "Yes, I'm sure of it"
Kaijin, the dwarf they brought from Dwargon instantly said "A Majin on his own can't arm all these orcs, he's probably a subordinate of one of the demon lords… but why would a demon lord do such a thing?"
Rimuru turned to Yuki and asked with narrowed eyes "Yuki-san, do you have any idea about what's going on?"
"Why do you ask me?" Said Yuki curiously and Rimuru shrugged and said " You are the only one that's close with a demon lord so I thought you might have an idea…"

The ogres and the goblins stared in shock at Yuki and the latter simply shrugged and said "You are not wrong. In fact, I know three of the current demon lords, but none of them would bother and do such a thing, so this leaves one of the other demon lords as the perpetrator"
Shizue nodded in agreement since she understood a little bit of Leon's personality, as for Rimuru, he kept staring at Yuki doubtfully until the latter threatened him to send him flying before he stopped…
Meanwhile, the ogres couldn't help but think 'He knows so many demon lords and he's very strong himself… Why would he bother to stay in such an undeveloped place?'
A purple-haired ogre couldn't hold back her curiosity and asked "Why do you stay here if you can live in a demon lord's country?"
Yuki smiled at her and said "Well of course it's because I love nature" But Shizue simply shook her head and said "He's being targeted by multiple kingdoms and needs to hide for a while, although even this current location was exposed…"
The ogres were shocked after hearing this and they couldn't help but stare at Yuki weirdly 'It seems like we are not the only ones that want to beat this guy up'
Meanwhile, after some more conversations, Rimuru offered the ogres if they want to join his forces and left them to discuss between themselves as he waited for their decision patiently…
….
Meanwhile, after everyone went to sleep, Yuki suddenly woke up and made his way out of his house, and the only one who noticed his absence was Shizue as they lived in the same house.
Yuki knew who was behind the orcs' weird movement, and it was none other than Clayman whose goal was to use the orc lord to collect souls for him to evolve into a true demon lord…
'I wonder how many mind control stones that idiot has' thought Yuki while searching for traces of the Majin that was controlling the orcs…
After running at high speed all around the forest, Yuki finally found traces of the huge moving army of the orcs that numbered at least 200000! And they were marching through the forest and eating anything that came into their path!
'They should be moving into the central lake's direction… They will soon clash with the lizardman huh…' Yuki searched for a long time for any traces of the masked Majin, but he had to leave back home in disappointment when he didn't find them even after using his magic sense for a long time…
After Yuki left, a fat Majin popped out from the stomach of one of the orcs, it was Footman, a member of the Moderate Harlequin alliance and Clayman's friend.
"That was close, what's this monster doing here… No, he seemed to be looking for something specific, I need to inform the others to move carefully in the future" Muttered Footman before he quickly disappeared to inform his friends… This was the notoriety of Yuki Chibana the heartless thief, something he himself didn't realize yet…
As for the orc that he was hiding inside of… It was instantly devoured by the other orcs that lost their sanity from the orc lord's unique skill 'Starving one'…
…
Back home, Yuki found Shizue waiting for him with a worried look on her face and he couldn't help but get startled when he saw her "Woo, thought Yurei was back here for a moment"
Shizue glared at him before she asked "Where did you go this late in the night?"
Yuki shrugged and said "Just wanted to see if I could scam some people but they were too careful…"
Shizue frowned slightly and asked "Do you know the Majin behind the orc army?" and since they were alone, Yuki decided to tell her the truth "Yes, they are friends of the demon lord Clayman, although they are probably even stronger than him"
Shizue's face was full of surprise at this information before she asked worriedly "Will everything be okay?"
"Stop worrying… By the way, when are you planning to bring the kids here, I told you there's a way to help them right?" Yuki decided to change the subject into a more cheerful one and it indeed brought a smile to Shizue's face as she said "I will go get them after this mess is solved"
"That's good" Said Yuki with a smile before he yawned and told her he was going to sleep and Shizue nodded at him silently and muttered "Good night".
…
The next day, the ogres decided to join the settlement and Rimuru rewarded them each with a name before falling to sleep… During that time, Yuki spent some time with the now stronger Hakurou the white-haired old ogre that was great with the sword… This man was actually the teacher of Gazel Dwargo, so his skills with the sword are certainly undeniable…
During their sparring sessions, Yuki would end up losing every time when using a sword, of course, he was limiting his power and speed to the same level as Hakurou to make it fair. However, whenever he uses the Mutsu Enmei style, their fights end up in a draw…
'This guy is so skilled in unarmed fighting, and he's not that lacking with the sword either, I can sense him improving faster than anyone I trained before' thought Hakurou in surprise after getting an idea of Yuki's level of skill…This was the benefit of the swordsman's talent as well as his other abilities!

Blood Quest - A LitRPG
Leon's family has been diagnosed with a new type of incurable blood disease. It's an absolute death sentence and when it turns aggressive, you only have a few more years of painful life left to live. His mother has just begun the last years of the disease when a person supposedly comes back from death with supernatural abilities. He talks about a choice you get after death--get an extra chance to come back to life, or die. Even with Leon's diminishing life span, he won't consider the option of going there, until he meets another survivor who had the same goal as him and succeeded. Leon has a choice to make—die now for a chance to save his mother, or die in a few years, where the disease rapidly melts his muscles from his own body. He enters a game-like world, a sort of limbo, where his ultimate goal is to climb the tower of Katastroph before his mother's time runs out. There are a few problems with this though. The tower is almost impossible to beat, if you die you won't revive, and only three people in over twenty years have actually made it back. Leon has two years to climb the tower, with the help of the few people willing to try, while Ai, the tutorial guide, makes things harder for them. ***** The story starts pretty dark but goes onto a lighter tone. Then (more) dark again. Disclaimer: This story is an experimental project and I hope to get any and all feedback you can give me. Warning: First draft. Chapters tend to be between 3400-4100 words long (about 8-11 A4-pages). Mentioning it since I've seen it in other fictions :P Sometimes they're shorter, sometimes they're longer. ******************************** CHAPTER RELEASES UPDATE: As the first "book" in the series is done, I'm going to release coming chapters somewhat sporadically, and when Writathon ends, I'll probably go back to publishing one chapter per weekend. We'll just have to wait and see! I hope you enjoy the story! I really appreciate all comments and feedback, so if you have anything to say, feel free to voice it :) ************ [participant in the Royal Road Writathon challenge]

Edit:Don't bother reading this book, because I'm not finishing it.I don't know if anyone is going to read this story. But if someone does read it then there is a few things I need to warn you about. There most likely have swearing, maybe have some sensitive subjects, and this story is a male×male. Also the book will most likely not have any sex scenes. (I took the story down for awhile)
