《MY Life In The Multiverse》Chapter 95: Teaching a slime how to fly

Yuki's intentions for approaching Rimuru are far from pure, he knew that this slime had too much potential so how can he not make use of it. So, he instantly thought of countless ideas on how to make a profit while sailing on his sticky back, and the first one he thought of was to make use of his two broken unique skills predator and great sage.
Great sage was a know it all that has understanding of almost everything, not to mention that it can easily analyze and replicate things, and this effect is further enhanced thanks to Predator's ability to absorb the essence of things and analyze it.
Yuki's first goal was to have the set of elixirs that strengthen the body analyzed and if possible, enhanced through the analytic ability of great sage so that he can gain the most benefits from consuming it, and he also had another purpose for it...
"What potions?" Asked Rimuru and Yuki calmly handed him the set knowing that even if this slime absorbs these potions, he can always spit them back out… No, he would use force if needed..;
"These elixirs are used to strengthen the body, they are something I had to go through a lot to obtain, try using your predator skill and see if you can replicate them" said Yuki with a smile and Rimuru was surprised
"Aren't you afraid I would just absorb them and they would go to waste?" Asked Rimuru with a question mark appearing on his shapeless body…
"Nah, although we didn't know each other for long, I feel like you are someone that could be trusted" said Yuki with a smile, and Kayle who was standing behind him couldn't help but roll his eyes at him 'Of course, you are the one that can not be trusted'
Rimuru jumped slightly in delight at the thought of having someone trusting him like this but before he reached for the potion, he suddenly fidgetted slightly before he said "Yuki-san… you know I also used to be a human from Japan but ended up reincarnating here as slime after I died… Ooooof that's a relief"
'Oh, it seems like his lack of confidence made him worried of being believed huh' thought Yuki before he suddenly felt like messing up with this slime and said "Rimuru, I didn't think you would lie to me like this… It's impossible to travel to this world as only a soul, even those with weak bodies can't handle it… I'm disappointed"
"Wait no, I'm telling the truth" Rimuru hurriedly tried to explain while jumping erratically and he couldn't help but ask his great sage 'Great sage, how can I convince Yuki-san?'
[It's hard, the individual Yuki isn't lying, it's indeed a miracle that host was able to reincarnate into this world…]
'what should I do…' Thought Rimuru with a downcast appearance but he suddenly heard Yuki chuckling slightly and patting him "Sorry about that buddy, I was just messing with you, of course I believe you, I actually realized it some time ago"

"Uh? You did?" Rimuru's body was full of question marks reflecting his inner thoughts and Yuki felt like throwing this slime again for how stupid he was as he said "Rimuru, this world's language doesn't have question marks, and yet they keep appearing on your body whenever you have a question. How do you interpret that?"
Rimuru was hit by the sudden realization as he heard Yuki say with an evil smirk "I can also see when you are horny since something similar to an exclamation mark appears whenever you stare at my dear maid"
"W-w-wait that's not it… I-I-I" Rimuru kept stuttering not knowing how to defend himself but this time it was Kayle that explained to him as Yuki kept laughing
"Rimuru-san, Yuki-sama is only joking, nothing like that appears when you stare at Sacha, although your reaction is worrisome"
"Yuki you bastard" Yelled Rimuru trying to hide his blush… This was an old virgin after all…
"Okay, okay, I won't mess with you anymore. Anyway, here absorb these potions and tell me what you find out" said Yuki with a smile and Rimuru reluctantly accepted and used predator covering the whole box that Yuki was holding before he swallowed it and it completely disappeared…
After exchanging some more small talk about their lives in the other world, Rimuru was notified that the analysis was completed and he informed Yuki about what he found out
"Yuki-san, this potion requires quite a few rare ingredients but we can replicate it as long as we find them" said Rimuru delighting Yuki as he asked him "Great, do you think your ability can improve on the potion?"
"Mmm let me check…" Said Rimuru as he ordered great sage to see if it could improve the potion and the latter positively replied, although the final recipe would take a weak for it to be produced, but Yuki was already impressed by this and decided to wait until then…
"By the way Yuki-san, are you planning to leave this goblin village in the future?" asked Rimuru with a slightly nervous tone since he started to get close to Yuki whom he opened up to about his real identity and Yuki didn't disappoint him as he replied "No, I will be staying here for a while until the heat dies down a little bit"
"What heat?" Asked Rimuru curiously and Yuki said with a warm smile "Ah, just that a few kingdoms are probably after my head and I have to lay low for a while and this is the perfect place to hide hehehe"
"Can you please leave? I'm begging you, I'm still a young slime and I don't want to die yet" said Rimuru trying to push Yuki out of the hut and the latter simply grabbed him like a baseball and said "I wonder if slimes can learn how to fly… do you want to test it out with me?"

Rimuru instantly felt a shiver and said enthusiastically "Oh, you will always be welcome here my dear friend, this place wouldn't be fun without you"
"That's the spirit!" Replied Yuki with a thumbs up and Rimuru ended up asking him about what did he do to those kingdoms which made Yuki feel insulted since he didn't ask what they did to him instead…
'What a weird human… did he come to this forest from the start just for this slime? What's Yuki-sama planning, how did he know about the cause of Veldora's disappearance despite him being just a newly summoned otherworlder?' Countless questions were running through Kayle's mind as he observed this young master he was ordered to serve, and yet the more time he spends with him, the more he couldn't understand his behavior… The only thing he was sure of is his intense greed!
'This slime must be important, I will notify Leon-sama about him later… Although he probably already knows' Thought Kayle with a sigh as he stroked Leon's emblem before he turned his attention to his young master and the slime that were talking about building a huge country where monsters and humans could coexist and he couldn't help but shake his head at their crazy talk…
****
The next day Rimuru noticed that the goblins and the newly joined wolves didn't have names so he decided to name them. However, there were simply too many of them, a total of 130 maybe so Yuki decided to warn him
"It's fine if you want to name them, however you need to do it in moderation since it consumes your magicules and might have negative effects on you"
"I see, fine I will name half of them first and when I recover my magicules I will finish the other half" replied Rimuru and started the naming process as Yuki observed them calmly until he was done and said
"Listen both you goblins and dire wolves, I need you to go in pairs and collect all the dire wolves and goblin villages in the surroundings. Promise them that Rimuru would name them and it would be fine"
"Uhh, why do you want to do this?" Asked Rimuru who was tired after naming the goblins and the wolves and Yuki stared at him with an annoyed look and said "Didn't you want to build a country, well we will first need citizens and soldiers to protect it"
"That's right…" Said Rimuru with a low voice ashamed that he didn't realize it as Yuki said next "We also need to find people skilled in building houses and roads, others at agriculture so we have food, and many other necessities"
"Y-you are right" said Rimuru feeling the pressure of his ambition and watched as Yuki turned to the goblin elder he named Rigurd and said "Yo, half-dead goblin, do you know any good builders near this place?"
Rigurd almost had a heart attack from the name, but he quickly regained his composure and said "Sir, the best craftsmen we know of are the dwarves, but hiring them won't be easy"
"Tch, you think I don't know about the dwarves? But they are too far away from here… any other ideas" replied Yuki and Rigurd shook his head with an apologetic look on his face…
"Why can't we just hire the dwarves?" asked Rimuru who was curious about seeing dwarves and he also started imagining other beings such as the elves and he almost had an exclamation mark appear on his body…
"We are currently at the southeast of the great Jura forest, and the dwarves' kingdom Dwargon is all the way to the north of the forest. Even if we ride horses, it would still take at least 3 or 4 days to reach there, and another 3 or 4 to go back. You think I'm that free?"
"Umm, that's indeed a lot… What should we do then?" asked Rimuru and Yuki simply grabbed him and observed the sky before he said "We fly" before he threw him at a terrifying speed at an eagle that was searching for prey in the sky
"AAAAAAAA" Yelled Rimuru all the way before he smashed into the eagle knocking it unconscious and they both came falling down from the sky at a terrifying speed…
"Isn't that a steel beaked eagle, they should be of B+ Rank… He actually defeated it so easily" The old Rigurd was astonished by Yuki's strength…
"Rimuru, don't you have a transformation that allows you to fly? If so, stop screaming like a bitch and quickly use it. Oh and don't let that eagle die, I need it" Yelled Yuki which snapped Rimuru from his intense fear of height and he remembered that he could transform into a bat so he quickly did so and grabbed the unconscious eagle before he went back to Yuki's direction with an intense desire to melt him with some toxic smoke…
Meanwhile, Yuki observed the eagle with an intrigued look on his face and thought 'This is going to be a nice ride'
"Heal him for me Rimuru" said Yuki and he only received a water blade as a response that tried to cut his hair
'Tch, childish retaliation' thought Yuki before he grabbed Rimuru and said "I wonder where should I squeeze for healing potions to come out?'
"I'm not a lemon" said Rimuru through his gritted teeth although he had none and Yuki stared at him with a surprised look on his face "You are not"
'I'm starting to understand why he's being hunted by multiple kingdoms… This guy is infuriating' thought Rimuru who was starting to feel his friendship with Yuki wasn't the best decision he ever made…
