After watching Rimuru for a while, Yuki came to the conclusion 'It seems like he's going to go about it just like in the original plot and prepare some defenses using the skills he acquired inside of Veldora's cave huh… How useless, doesn't even bother use a cheat like great sage to understand his own power'

Rimuru worked diligently, building a fence, building defenses, healing the goblins and teaching them how to fight… His day was truly full. Meanwhile, Yuki was sipping on some tea made by his cute Sacha while basking in the light of the sun with a lazy smile on his face

"Ah, life is beautiful" Muttered Yuki earning him even more hateful glares from the goblins who were disgusted by his heartlessness towards their predicament, unlike their dear lord slime who was helping them wholeheartedly…

Eventually, seeing how demoralized the goblins were from Yuki's behavior, Rimuru ended up approaching him reluctantly and said "Umm, Yuki-san, can you please be a little bit more considerate… It's affecting the morale of these goblins…"

Yuki grabbed Rimuru like a ball and brought him close to his face and said with a smile "I don't know what you are talking about, I'm actually being very helpful by not ripping their heads off after hearing the way they were talking behind my back… Oh and by the way, you promised to help them not me"

Rimuru felt a chill as he replied nervously "You are not wrong, but…"

"No buts, go build more fences or something, don't bother me for now I'm going to take a nap" said Yuki before he threw Rimuru like a cannonball right past a goblin that was badmouthing him and he barely missed him "Oops my hand slipped" said Yuki with an evil grin before he closed his eyes while the goblin felt like his heart stopped beating for a second thinking that he might have a slime shaped hole in his chest…

Meanwhile, Rimuru who was thrown by Yuki felt like he was riding on a rocket as the world was speeding by him at a terrifying speed as he screamed "AAAAA" before he slammed into a tree…

"I feel so nauseated" muttered Rimuru while thanking god that he was a slime with pain resistance otherwise, this would have been a painful experience.

After regaining his composure, Rimuru couldn't help but ask his great sage 'Great sage, how strong is Yuki-san, that throw was at an unhuman speed…'

Right after asking this, a feminine voice echoed inside his head [Initiating analysis…]

[Analysis Failed…. Failed…. Failed]

Rimuru was surprised by the skill that seemed to know it all and helped him a lot to suddenly fail right now to analyze a human of all things... he couldn't help but ask it

'What's going on great sage? How come you can't analyze Yuki-san?'

[Notice: The individual named Yuki is being shielded from my analysis by the world's laws. Possible reasons are the individual having a skill higher than the great sage's rank]

Rimuru heard a slight shift in tone in great sage's voice, but he ignored it as his mind was preoccupied by a different thought 'It seems like Yuki-san is a strong individual… Veldora called otherworlders like him weapons… it seems like it's not without reason'

After this small incident passed, Rimuru continued helping the goblins set up their defenses, and eventually, the sunset came as dire wolves began howling in the distance right at the outskirt of the goblin's village which woke Yuki from his long nap and he stood up with a yawn" Are they here yet?"

"It seems like the village will be attacked any time soon, Yuki-sama" replied Kayle and Yuki asked again "What's the situation?"

"The slime created many fortifications and traps to face the wolves, the goblins will survive this" said Kayle with a hint of shock in his eyes as he stared at Rimuru who was hyping up the goblins.

"Where's Sacha?" asked Yuki curiously after not seeing his cute maid and Kayle replied with a sigh" She felt sorry for these goblins and decided to help them out"

"Sigh, that girl is really kind-hearted... We need to work on that in the future. Let's go, these wolves actually ruined a nice dream I was having, they better have something good prepared for me or I will just sell them as fur" said Yuki with a smile that made Kayle roll his eyes at him 'That's what you want from the start'

After walking to the front of the huge fence Rimuru and the goblins built, Yuki noticed Sacha interacting with some goblins happily and they seemed to like her, unlike the hateful glares they sent him…

'Not bad, sharp protruding spears, invisible sharp threads, wooden bows, and arrows... This would take the wolves by surprise for sure' thought Yuki after shooting a quick glance at the preparations that Rimuru made before he turned his attention to the howling outside and he heard a wolf say

"We shall destroy this goblin village and create our own territory in the great Jura forest"

"AWOOO" the wolves echoed after him

'Is he seriously giving a speech at this point?' thought Yuki with a weird look in his eyes before he left the fence to the surprise of the goblins and Rimuru who quickly said "Wait Yuki-san where are you going?"

"I'm going to shut these wolves that don't know when to shut up" said Yuki as he kept walking without stopping which made Rimuru hastily follow him and say "Wait, the village is safer with all the defenses we prepared…"

'Is this guy an idiot or what? He can kill the wolves on his own without needing anything in the first place tch… I guess I understand why the system asked me to enlighten him about the alpha ways... This is a good opportunity' thought Yuki before he gestured to Rimuru "Follow me"

"Lord slime, you shouldn't go…" Said the elder goblin, but Rimuru eventually said "Don't worry, I will be fine" Before he quickly followed Yuki…

"This human is ruining our only chance of winning with his recklessness…"

"What should we do now…"

"Lord slime healed us from our injuries, we can't let him go alone like this"

"Let's go, we shall fight with lord slime even if it means we will lose our lives"

The goblins soon reached a consensus and were ready to sacrifice their lives while Sacha stared at them curiously and said "Don't worry, Rimuru-san will be fine, Yuki-sama will protect him…"

However, the goblins' instincts told them not to trust that human as they picked their weapons and followed Rimuru and Yuki outside the village, and before long they saw the two of them facing a horde of dire wolves. Their leader, a wolf with a scar over his right eye stared at them coldly and said

"You weaklings dare leave the safety of your village, this will make things easier for us"

"You guys…" Rimuru was worried as he feared he might not be able to protect all the goblins…

"Yuki-san, do you have any plans?"

"Why are you asking me? You are very strong Rimuru, you can easily deal with these dire wolves, stop thinking that you are weak" replied Yuki with a smile before he took a seat on a stone nearby.

"W-w-wait, you are not going to fight them?" asked Rimuru nervously, and Yuki simply shrugged at him and said "When did I say I'm going to fight? I just went out to take a look at the wolves"

"Y-Yuki-san, I don't think I can fight 100 wolves and protect the goblins at the same time…" said Rimuru hurriedly but Yuki simply grabbed him and said "Here, I will give you a slight push and pray for you to win"

"Wait—AAAAAA" yelled Rimuru as he was sent flying at a random dire wolf and created a whole inside of him…

The goblin that was badmouthing Yuki felt another chill when he saw this and promised himself that if he survived, he would never badmouth Yuki again.

Meanwhile, Rimuru absorbed this dire wolf using his predator skill and observed his surroundings "I need to do this quickly" he muttered as the leader of the dire wolves yelled "CHARGE, kill all the goblins"

"AWOOO" replied the wolves as they rushed at the unprotected goblins that started shooting them with their bows and arrows hurriedly and they successfully shut down many wolves.

Rimuru quickly thought of what to do before he rushed in front of the goblins and used his skill toxic breath to create a defensive zone in front of the goblins, and some of the stupid wolves that rushed recklessly were immediately melted by it…

"Slime, I won't let you hinder our ambition" Yelled the leader of the dire wolves when he saw that his followers can't approach their target before he rushed at Rimuru while another wolf beside him with a star on his forehead tried to stop him "Dad stop!" But it was too late as the leader rushed recklessly only to end up tied in the air by Rimuru's skill [sticky threads] which he planted under the cover of the toxic gas…

"Slime, you can't chain me, I can easily break free from these threads" Yelled the wolf while trying to struggle out of its binding but Rimuru simply said "This fight is over, Water blade" and he easily cut his head off with a terrifying pressurized water blade…

Then, he turned his attention to the shocked wolves and yelled "Either submit or die!"

"Oh not bad" said Yuki while giving him a thumbs up but Rimuru just glared at him in return…

Not long after, the wolves decided to submit and the goblins accepted their victory in shock at the power of their new lord…

Back at the village inside a simple room, Yuki and Rimuru sat facing each other and the latter angrily said "Yuki-san, can you explain yourself?"

"Explain what? Everything went fine didn't it?" replied Yuki with a smile which annoyed Rimuru even more as he jumped in place and said "What if I wasn't quick enough to react? We might have had casualties!"

"No, we wouldn't, because I was sure you would react fast enough" Replied Yuki surprising Rimuru so he asked curiously "Why are you so sure about that"

"Well, Rimuru, you are new to this world so you might not know this, but when I sensed your unleashed aura, I already had a guess about your power level. Right now you are at least at the Calamity grade. Facing C rank monsters is nothing to you even if there were thousands of them"

"Calamity grade?" Asked Rimuru curiously making Yuki chuckle slightly as he said "I guess you are completely clueless about this world's power ranking, let me enlighten you…"

Yuki quickly explained to Rimuru about the different power levels of this world before he asked "By the way? If you don't mind can you tell me what was the skill you used to absorb those dire wolves?" Yuki of course wasn't going to tell Rimuru that he knew his skills already…

"Oh, that was my unique skill Predator, it allows me to absorb and mimic things after analyzing them as well as gain their skills"

Yuki's eyes were full of greed and jealousy as he said "You are lucky to have such a broken skill, but you should never mention it to anyone else, otherwise they might kill you to eliminate your threat since this skill is the equivalent of endless potential!"

Rimuru felt a chill despite his cold resistance skill and nodded at Yuki "Tanks for the advice"

'Now then, it's time to make use of this slime' thought Yuki as he said "Rimuru, I have a very rare potion, I wonder if you can analyze it so that we can make more of it in the future..."
