"That's the booth reserved for the highest members of the western holy church…" said someone to his friend after hearing Hinata's bet that almost doubled the initial price, and the person beside him nodded in agreement and asked "Why would she need such a potion? Is the church grooming another monster or what?"

Many similar whispers echoed throughout the auction house, and inside the VIP lounge number 2 where Hinata was currently staying, she had a calm look on her face as she thought 'I didn't expect I would stumble on such a good thing… The elves are truly becoming better and better at these potions, too bad I already consumed one long ago…'

"Hopefully this can help teacher…" She muttered… Of course, her teacher was Izawa Shizue, the girl Rimuru absorbed to gain his human form and Hinata's dearest person in this world…

If Yuki heard what reason Hinata had for buying this set, he would have told her it's a complete waste of such a good item, but she probably wouldn't listen to him anyways and must use a different approach…

But among the chattering inside the auction with no one bidding against Hinata in fear of antagonizing the western church, the auctioneer suddenly said

"50000 going once, going twice, Con—"

"50300!" Echoed a calm voice from the 4th VIP booth interrupting the auctioneer and making the auction go silent as Hinata narrowed her eyes slightly and stared at the booth before she immediately announced...

"60000!"

The auction turned eerily silent, but Yuki only grinned widely and said "60300!" and then everyone suddenly felt a shiver from a terrifying aura that gushed from VIP booth 2 before it quickly dissipated as Hinata began hesitating. After all, different from the heartless Yuki, she was responsible and wouldn't feel right spending so much money that could help many people just for some elixirs that may or may not help her teacher…

But after some hesitation, she decided that her teacher's life came first! And she was about to raise the price directly to 100000 to stop any further bids but a knock suddenly came from the door of her booth making her pause, and when she opened it, she saw that it was an innocent-looking blond girl with blue eyes that was staring at her nervously while holding a piece of paper in her hand…

"Hinata-sama, this is a letter from my lord, please check it out before you increase your bet any further" said Sacha nervously and Hinata stared at her suspiciously before she took the letter from her hand and read its content and was slightly surprised by the beautiful writing style that resembled a work of art… drawing talent baby!

"Hello fellow Japanese, My name is Yuki Chibana, can you let me get this item, I was newly summoned to this world by demon lord Leon... and let's just say I got screwed by him and now my body is slowly being destroyed from the inside out and these elixirs can greatly help me…"

Hinata's eyes widened slightly after hearing the identity of the man that was trying to outbid her, and her heart softened slightly after hearing that he was from her hometown and suffering the same illness as Shizue..

"Tell your lord I agree, but I want to meet him later" said Hinata to Sacha who beamed happily after hearing her response and said excitedly "Ahh great, I will" before she ran away since she was very nervous and fearing she would mess up and cause trouble for Yuki…

"That girl seemed fine… Hopefully, this Yuki is also innocent like her" muttered Hinata, but no, Yuki was far from innocent, otherwise he wouldn't have sent the most innocent-looking person in their group to soften Hinata up…

"How shameless…" Whispered Kayle, but Yuki's voice suddenly drifted into his ear as he said eerily "did you say something?"

"N-no nothing sir" responded Kayle hurriedly while sweating slightly as Yuki stared at him with a twisted grin that immediately turned into a warm smile when he saw Sacha was back "Oh Sacha-chan you are already back? How did it go?"

'Two-faced bastard" thought Kayle while Sacha breathed heavily with a flushed face and said "It was a success"

"Good job" Yuki gave her a thumbs up and soon heard the announcer telling people that he received the elixir which surprised many of them who feared the power of the western church…

"How come Hinata Sakaguchi gave up on the elixir so suddenly?"

"Maybe she lost interest in it? or is it related to the person on the 4th booth?"

Many people sent their servants to investigate the identity of the person that could make the famous Hinata take a step back which was something extremely rare…

Meanwhile, inside VIP booth 1, Elmesia suddenly had a curious look on her face as she turned to an attendant and said "How come Hinata Sakaguchi gave up on the item? And I actually put it up just to earn her favor… what a waste"

The servant behind her who remained silent all this time, knelt before her and said "Your highness, I was told that he sent one of his servants with a message to Hinata-sama, and she gave up on the item afterward… We are not sure of the content of the message however as Hinata-sama kept it in her possession…"

Elmesia nodded calmly and said " How's the investigation on this guy Yuki, is he truly related to demon lord Leon Cromwell?"

The servant replied while shaking his head "We are not completely sure yet, what we do know however is that they indeed arrived from our special trading portal connecting to Eldorado, and we already sent some people to investigate and we found a rumor circulating that a man with the name Yuki who's a newly summoned by lord Leon defeated the black knight Claude, there are even some crazier rumors that he's friends with demon lord Milim…"

Elmesia's hand that was holding a glass of wine froze suddenly, especially when she heard the second rumor, but she quickly ignored it as she thought 'Leon never had many relations with other demon lords, especially Milim so that one must be baseless…'

"The first rumor is probably true since no one from Leon's side tried to deny it, and this appears to be the case right?" said Elmesia and the servant nodded at her since he also came to the same conclusion but couldn't say it since he wanted to verify it 100% and his empress doesn't like unverified information...

"It seems like this kid is much more interesting than I initially thought…" Muttered Elmesia with an unreadable look on her face as she turned her attention back to the auction…

At Yuki's booth, he received the elixir happily and quickly put it inside his space ring, and again dismissed the servant that brought it while saying that Leon will pay the bill for him… Although this time it was a little tougher since the price was many times higher…

"Yuki-sama, don't you think Leon-sama would be mad if you spend too much money like this?" asked Kayle suddenly, this would appear like he was admonishing Yuki and just thinking about Leon, but in truth he was saying this completely in Yuki's benefit since this might cause a rift between him and Leon and he would lose much more than the worth of these items…

"Don't worry, I'm saving him a lot of money by negotiating like this, I'm sure he would thank me later… maybe I should buy him a hair clip or something later as a thank you gift" replied Yuki with a calm smile and Kayle stared wide-eyed at him as he thought 'Please don't, just go empty-handed, it would be 10000 times better than bringing a cheap gift to add salt to injury…'

Meanwhile, the next few items didn't interest Yuki at all, magic items, armors, some other types of healing elixirs that could heal poisons and various conditions… This auction was truly filled with rare commodities.

However, they soon reached an item that Yuki was highly interested in, the stone of clarity… The item that Hinata put up for auction…

"Ladies and gentlemen, today's 18th item is a stone of clarity, and as you can see, it's a big one. For those who don't know, this is an essential ingredient to make amulets that counter mind manipulation effects, even those of the highest degrees, and can ensure the loyalty and safety of your followers and even yours, and in turn that of your kingdoms and organizations. Starting price 50000 Gold or items of similar rarity!"

The auction immediately turned heated as countless bids were made, this was after all something essential for countries, especially weak ones to ensure that they aren't manipulated by stronger countries forcefully, or by other entities…

As for the possibility of bartering, this is an option that the seller can add if they aren't only interested in money and they can either state what they want from the start or hear what the people are offering before they accept the thing they like and Hinata's picked the latter…

The price was quickly rising and it soon hit the 100000 gold mark! And it was by none other than a minister from one of the western countries…

'How am I supposed to compete with such wealth? This is a bit too much even for poor Leon to handle… Should I just steal it after this is over? Hmmm how troublesome…' After a round of terrifying bids, it appeared that this minister from the Kingdom of Doran was determined on getting this stone no matter the price and it ended up reaching 120000 Gold before the bets were concluded…

Yuki's eyes shined eerily as he stared at this and his hair began swirling slightly as a thought suddenly came to his mind 'Oh, it seems I found a job for my loyal servant'

Kayle and Sacha shivered slightly at the greedy gaze before they witnessed as Yuki suddenly closed his eyes and a dark light gushed from his heart and transformed into a portal

"Come, I got a job for you…" said Yuki into the portal and Sacha and Kayle witnessed silently as a dark-haired ghost-like entity with bloodshot eyes poked its head out of the portal with a weird grin on its face…

"Yurei, what happened to you" asked Yuki as he stared at Yurei's miserable appearance, but the latter only smiled and said with a twisted grin "Don't worry, I was just having some fun with our dear neighbors..."

"They are alive… right?" Asked Yuki as he inched ever so slowly from his 'loyal' servant but he only received a weird grin from Yurei who didn't respond as Sacha suddenly screamed "AAAA GHOST!" before she hid behind Yuki… Thankfully the rooms isolated all sounds.

Yurei who was disoriented from the summoning and was dizzy and seeing everything blurrily was slowly adjusting to the world and the notification that appeared in front of him, and he finally had a proper look at Yuki and his jaw immediately dropped to the floor "Y-Y-You, Did you eat Yuki?"

Yuki had dark lines on his face as he slapped him in the head and said "relax you idiot and focus on the magicules entering your body, I don't want you dying here…"

Yurei still couldn't believe the drastic changes to Yuki's appearance as he stared at him with his dark blue eyes eerily for a while before he nodded and focused on the magicules rushing into his body… This was the gift of the world to otherworlders!
