Walking through the golden streets of Eldorado with Milim was an enjoyable experience for Yuki, and this joyful demon lord appeared to share the sentiment as they kept walking from one stall to another and enjoying all the delicacies they could find, they also went to many stores that sold clothes and brought many sets each.

Yuki didn't like Milim walking around with him almost nude and attracting too much attention so he enticed her to buy another outfit as well.

Eldorado has five main districts called river, lake, forest, field, and mountain respectively… As for Leon's huge spiral castle that reached all the way to the cloud, it was located right in the middle of Eldorado.

And currently, Milim and Yuki were sitting on a bench near a plaza in the forest district that had a huge fountain in the shape of a beautiful woman in the middle of it and they were happily eating some ice cream…

"Yuki, can we always be friends?" Asked Milim all of a sudden with an expectant look on her face, after all, this was the first time in ages someone actually treated her like a normal girl and not as a feared demon lord…

"Sure, I don't mind" replied Yuki with a smile causing Milim's eyes to light up even further and she began playing with her legs that couldn't reach the ground happily…

"Great, wahahaha you shall never regret this decision" she said with a smug look on her face bringing a smile to Yuki's face…

"Well then Milim, we should go back now, I have a few things to settle with Leon and your followers might get worried if you are gone for too long, especially since you disappeared with another demond lord" said Yuki which brought a sad look to Milim's face as she put on a puppy face and said "Can I stay a little bit longer? Pleaaaase"

Yuki couldn't help but chuckle slightly and marvel at how a being whose age Ashiya couldn't even count to was actually so innocent like a child before he patted her head and said gently "We are friends now, I will contact you to have some fun again, don't worry"

"Promise?" said Milim with a sad face and Yuki nodded at her "promise" which brought a smile to her face as she stood up "fine then, you better prepare another feast for our next meeting fufufufu"

"Sure" said Yuki before he suddenly remembered he didn't have a way to contact her and said "do you have something I can contact you with?"

"Oh, here you go" said Milim easily before she threw him a blood-red pentagon shaped stone and said "You can contact me through this at any time"

Yuki nodded at her as he stored the stone and was surprised that it took quite a lot of his mana just to store it away and understood that it was definitely a treasure!

"Well see you soon Yuki!" said Milim before she jumped through the air and disappeared into the sky causing cracks to spread throughout the plaza startling many of the citizens of Eldorado…

"I need to teach this girl how to better control her powers… I can imagine Leon glaring at me for this destroyed plaza from miles away…" muttered Yuki before he let out a sigh and went back to the palace as if nothing had happened…

Inside the palace, Leon kept glaring at Yuki without saying anything prompting Yuki to ask "Leon-chan can I get my magic cores now?"

Leon's face twitched slightly before he said "Yes" before he teleported the two of them into a warehouse filled with magic cores to the brim…

Yuki's eyes lit up immediately as he stared at the piles of magic cores that were stored in special boxes with magic formations cast over them so that they preserve their maximum efficiency, and they were separated into their different grades. Low grades, medium grade, high grade, and rare grade…

The lower the grade, the higher the quantity Yuki could see in the warehouse and he found it logical but he couldn't help but ask Leon who was standing beside him with a constipated look on his face "Leon-chan, what's the difference between each of the grades of the magic cores?"

'And here I thought you were a genius in magic' thought Leon before he smugly replied "they differ in purity and quantity of magicules"

A quick answer fit of this demon lord, but Yuki understood the meaning 'I wonder how much I could push my ability with this many stones…' he thought as he remembered the requirement to evolve his basic elemental resistance…

Absorb 10000 low-grade magic cores… Yuki knew that this much was acceptable for low-grade magic cores, but for higher grades one… he knew he would be asking for a lot, which is why he decided to help Leon find another outlet to gather magic stones, otherwise the latter would never agree to his request… But now, he can finally gain absolute defense with increased defense against elements!

'Path of evolution!' thought Yuki as his ability immediately activated and the content of the boxes transformed into light and was absorbed into Yuki's body and immediately 100 boxes that contained 100 magic cores each were emptied instantly!

As Yuki absorbed box after box, Leon's heart ached more and more as he watched his reserves of magic stones disappear into thin air 'Damn you Claude, Damn you Alrose, if not for you two, I wouldn't be watching my own pockets burning like this' thought Leon with an ugly look on his face as Yuki approached the high-grade magic stones and begin absorbing them as well…

However, this time Yuki had a frown on his face since even after absorbing 10000 high-grade magic cores, he didn't receive a notification. But his ability, path of evolution didn't absorb any more stones, and after checking for the reason why, he found that he had another requirement he didn't expect.

Yuki was confused, so he could only turn to Leon and ask "Leon, what's the essence of the elements?"

Yuki shook his head and Leon simply said "It's this essence of the elements you are talking about, after enough magicules gather on this essence, a spirit will be born, and this unique item can only be found in demon lord Ramiris's labyrinth"

"Ramiris's labyrinth huh? it seems like I should give it a visit" Muttered Yuki and Leon immediately said "You definitely should"

Yuki couldn't help but glare at Leon which made the latter cough awkwardly "Oh, now this reminds me, you owe me another favor right" said Yuki with a devilish grin which made Leon's face turn slightly pale, but after looking through his warehouses, Yuki didn't find enough items to evolve any of his other abilities so he decided to ask for this favor in another time which made Leon heave a sigh of relief…

'Now then, I guess I milked this cow dry already, time to move on and find another prey- I mean friend to make' thought Yuki before he went to find Kayle to ask him for a map of this world with a faint smile on his face since he noticed not long ago that his second quest which required him to make 10 human and 10 monster friends each now had a progress of 1/10, 1/10 on both of them meaning that both Milim and Leon were recognized as his friends!

Although it disappointed him that Kayle and Sacha weren't recognized by the system making him understand that only notable characters would be recognized…

To Yuki's surprise, after asking Kayle for a map of the world, the latter actually said that Leon ordered him to serve him during his travel along with Sacha which brought a smile to Yuki's face since he wouldn't mind having servants to take care of his daily needs…

Meanwhile, as Yuki was happily enjoying his talk with Sacha and Kayle as they prepared for their journey, in another part of the castle that appeared like a prison, Leon had a very cold look on his face as he stood before none other than his two strongest subordinates Alrose and clause who were kneeling down before him

"I'm disappointed in the two of you" said Leon with a coldness that made both their spines tingle, and if not for the fact that they have been following him for a long time and he knew of their extreme loyalty to him, he would have disposed of them immediately.

"I believe I told the two of you how much I valued such a strong otherworlder and that we should keep our relation with him friendly, yet the two of you went and did the exact opposite of what I ordered…"

"But my lord, how can we take it when he almost ruined our country's economy on a whim" said Alrose with righteous anger completely ignoring the fact that he almost killed Kayle if not for Leon's interference, but Leon didn't forget as he mocked him

"You tried to lay a trap for Yuki, yet the two of you kept dancing on his palms from the very start so that he could get more benefits from us"

Alrose was surprised as he asked "What do you mean my lord?" but this time it was the silent Claude that spoke with realization in his eyes

"So, from the start he never apologized for his actions to use our loyalty against us knowing that we will act against your orders just to make him pay the price for his actions… I see, I wondered why he accepted my challenge easily and even kept taunting me back to further anger me…"

"impossible, how could a kid that just arrived to this world think so far ahead?" said Alrose in disbelief but Claude simply shook his head as Leon looked at him in disapproval

"Don't you understand?" said Claude "he could have used magic to save Kayle from your attack, yet he risked letting him die just so he lures our lord out so that he asks for compensation directly in the presence of all of his forces to corner him…"

Realization suddenly hit Alrose and he couldn't help but feel terror rising in his heart as he remembered Yuki's actions that appeared careless but now appeared to have scary intentions behind them as he heard his lord say "Indeed, that guy is a master at the art of manipulation, but he knows when to advance and when to retreat, and the benefits we gained from him are much more than we lost… and we probably could have gained more if not for your stupid actions!"

Alrose and Claude both knelt down "Lord, please punish us as you see fit, we truly disappointed you"

Leon's cold eyes softened slightly but the punishment was unavoidable…
