《MY Life In The Multiverse》Chapter 62: Dark strike and space ring!

While he was leaving the fight scene with Hilda, a few notifications appeared in front of Yuki...
[Host has greatly overperformed by showing his … weird sense of cruelty and bringing back some of the system's honor… calculating host's additional rewards…]
Yuki almost felt like the system was reluctant to calculate his additional rewards, but he didn't care and was excited to see what he was going to get!
[Calculations complete.]
[Quest: Annoying flies (completed)]
[Accept reward: Yes/No]
Yuki immediately said accept and a new notification appeared in front of him
[Host has received Dark strike | Item: small space ring]
Yuki's eyes shrunk slightly when he saw the item he just received and he couldn't help but stop in the middle of the street as he read its description
[Small space ring (1/10): This is a ring that contains an isolated pocket of space with the size o 2. The host can store anything none living inside it and it would help things like food and such to extend their expiration dates greatly. Costs mana to put and retrieve items from it depending on their size.]
"This is actually amazing, I can steal many things now unnoticed" Muttered Yuki with his mouth opened wide before it turned into a creepy grin, while the people who overheard him quickly reported him to the police which became a daily rooting for them to receive complaints about him…
….
Meanwhile, Hilda just woke up in the dark alley and slowly stood up and touched her slightly aching head "What happened? Did I lose?" She was surprised, she never thought she would lose to a human… She was after all a very strong demon if she unleashed all of her magic, but because she didn't want to cause such a huge scene and attract unwanted attention, she decided to only rely on her body and her mastery of the sword and only used her magic to empower her attacks…
Not to mention that she didn't even have a contract, and the demons from her world grow stronger when they establish a contract so her true potential was still untapped…
"Did someone sneak attack me from above? But I didn't sense anyone near me?" muttered Hilda while staring at the bloodied rock near where she was lying and concluded that Yuki wasn't fighting her alone or he was using a weird ability…
"But why did he leave me alive… he could've used this opportunity to get rid of me…" She was really confused, and she ended up checking her body properly but found that many things were missing "Did that brat rob me? Or did someone else pass by here and rob me? And was he the one that tended to my head injury?" Hilda had so many questions but no one could answer her.
After scanning her surrounding for a while, she noticed something written in the wall in red, probably with her own blood "Yo, dear demon maid, hopefully you won't annoy me in the future otherwise I won't spare you a second time. Send my regards to Oga and baby Beel. Ps: I hope you will like the gift I prepared for you there"

"It seems he's really the one that tended to my injuries and robbed me, tch how annoying, and what gift is he talking about?" Thought Hilda as she wiped the message from the wall before she made her way back home to her young master while feeling a deep sense of shame that she actually lost… If only she knew the shame she was feeling right now was nothing compared to what was waiting for her…
…
After she got back home, she first washed herself and dealt with her injuries secretly before she walked into a room where Oga and his childhood friend Furuichi were hanging and baby Beel was playing with some toys.
"Young master, I'm back" Said Hilda as she entered the room, but she only saw the trio looking at her bandaged head weirdly, the bandages were tied to make it appear as if she had cat ears, it was Yuki's work of art!
Furuichi turned around to hide his laugh, but Oga and baby Beel directly started laughing, especially Oga who laughed the loudest causing a few veins to appear on Hilda's face as she remembered Yuki's words and asked "What's going on?"
Oga had his signature demonic grin on his face as he said "I didn't know you were an animal lover... Dead animal lover ahahahahaha"
Hilda's face froze slightly and seeing that even baby Beel was laughing at her, she felt a strong sense of shame so she appeared in front of Oga and held him by the collar and said with a sharp look in her eyes "You bastard, tell me what's going on"
Furuichi tried to mediate the situation that was going out of control and he knew that the room might end up getting destroyed so he said "Hilda-san please calm down…" But she glared at him and he immediately retreated as if he was avoiding a plague.
Oga removed her grip from him and still with the same smile said "I think we should frame that picture, what do you think baby Beel?"
"Tabou!" baby Beel nodded excitedly, but Hilda didn't understand what they were talking about so she asked coldly "What picture?"
"Oh, you don't know? It seems like Yuki really got you good, I'm starting to like that guy even more… well he sent me a nice… souvenir as he called it hahahahaha" said Oga before he took out his phone and showed Hilda the picture causing her to freeze. No, she almost turned into stone as if Medusa herself was looking at her before she exploded.
"THAT BASTARD!" Yelled Hilda as huge waves of demonic aura exploded from her body causing the already dark sky to darken even further and strong winds swept the room messing it up completely
"TABOU!" Yelled baby Beel in excitement enjoying the chaos while Oga barely held him from getting swept away and stood his ground to not get swept by the strong winds himself. Unfortunately, Furuichi was swept somewhere and might never be found again…

"You idiot, what are you doing to my room" Yelled Oga and Hilda finally realized that she went too far and reined in her aura, but the lingering feeling of danger surrounding her didn't disappear as she appeared ready to kill at any moment…
After calming herself down, Hilda promised to pay back that brat soon, along with his helper since it was obvious he couldn't have held her body like that in place on his own…
….
Back at Rosa Villa, Emilia kept questioning Yuki about his cut clothes and he kept lying and saying that he tripped many times during his jog…
"Hmph, this better be the truth or you will pay dearly" she said before she went back to the kitchen to prepare dinner. Meanwhile, Mashiro approached him and asked "Yuki, you look happy"
"Oh do I?" asked Yuki surprised that Mashiro again read him like a book before he patted her head and said "Indeed I'm" which made Emilia glare at him for some reason…
Meanwhile, he was thinking about the second reward he received… Dark strike! Surprisingly, this skill matched greatly with his sword talent and was officially his first offensive skill, so how can he not be excited!
[Dark strike (1/10): An active skill that allows the host to attack three times at once. The first attack deals 100% damage, the second 80%, and the third 60% |Consumes 10% of stamina| Cooldown: 10 seconds]
'I should get myself a nice sword now that I have a good place to store it' thought Yuki while stroking the ring in his hand before he felt a tug on his neck, but when he turned around, he didn't see anyone.
"hmm… Oh that's right, Mashiro I will be back shortly" Said Yuki as he remembered his promise to the ghost and Maou should be back by now so he quickly went to his neighbors, and indeed, he found Maou was back, and he was currently lecturing both Ashiya and Hanzo…
"How could you let that hero trick you and waste our hard-earned money like that, you really disappoint me Ashiya" said Maou with a disappointed look on his face, and Ashiya immediately kneeled down and started apologizing while bringing Hanzo down with him as well…
But then, he saw Yuki entering their room and his eyes immediately ignited with anger as he yelled "My lord he knew, Yuki knew about the evil ways of that hero, and yet he didn't warn us, it's all his fault!"
"Fuck you Ashiya, I'm a victim as well" yelled Yuki back seeing the bastard trying to shift the blame to him before he turned his attention to Maou and said "Maou-san, did Ashiya tell you about what I need from you?"
Maou nodded calmly "Indeed, he told me over the phone before I came here"
'I see, so they are already prepared to screw with me, this is going to be bad, what are my options here' thought Yuki and he begin scanning the room until his eyes landed on Hanzo and it was as if time stopped and they could speak telepathically
'Hanzo, these two are definitely going to make our lives a living hell, we should work together against them' Yuki sent his thoughts to Hanzo and the latter responded
'Yes, but how are we supposed to beat them, they hold the upper hand right now…' replied Hanzo but Yuki simply said
'Don't worry, we have the hero on our side, not to mention we will soon get a new member to terrorize them with'
After they kept staring at each other like two lovers, they both nodded at each other before Yuki said "So, how are we going to do this"
Maou smiled warmly at Yuki and said "Of course, we will give our dear neighbor a fair price, what do you think of 10 million yen"
Hearing this, even Ashiya's mouth widened in surprise 'Damn my lord, you are indeed worthy of your title' his eyes were filled with worship while Maou smiled smugly but Yuki only froze for an instant as he thought 'It seems like he's getting more and more greedier after he stole that money from me, I need to destroy this mindset of his' before he said
"Well too bad, I really wanted to help that ghost but you guys don't seem to want to help it, well good luck dealing with it as it keeps haunting you"
Ashiya shot him a smug look before he said "You think we can't deal with a ghost? If it comes to our room again, Hanzo can easily deal with it, we just don't want to waste our mana"
Yuki shot him a weird look before he said "Really? Would he?"
"Of course he would…" Ashiya was about to respond smugly again but Hanzo quickly stood behind Yuki and said "What are you talking about Ashiya, I don't have enough magic to deal with that ghost, plus it's not a normal ghost remember?"
Ashiya and Maou froze before they shot each other a look and it was their turn to talk telepathically… 'We've been betrayed Ashiya…'
'Indeed, my lord, this is out of my expectations… This damn Lucifer, I will make sure he regrets this decision of siding with ghosts'
Meanwhile, Yuki and Hanzo simply smirked at them and waited for their next move… This war was just starting!
