《MY Life In The Multiverse》Chapter 53: Devious plan

"You idiot... What are you doing here? Cough cough" Asked Emilia in a weak voice that resulted in her provoking an injury and spitting out some blood out of her mouth.
Yuki observed her from top to bottom with his eerie eyes, her body was filled with scars that seemed to have been done by a sharp object, her face had many bruises as well as her lips, she probably got punched multiple times hence why she was coughing blood and she was tied to a heavy chair to deny her of any attempt to escape...
'Thank god, my attribute points are still alive' thought Yuki, and a happy smile appeared on his face which Emilia misunderstood for him being happy that she was alive which made her happy.
Although Yuki cared about Emilia he still thought that the situation was in the realm of his power and the reason he lost his shit with Lucifer is because he simply hated the fact that his attributes might go down if he fails this mission.
After all, he understood from the past few days how hard it was to raise his attributes through training alone, excluding his strength that was rising by around 0.2 per day. His vitality and speed weren't rising at all for some reason through training which annoyed him greatly. And let's not talk about the soul attribute…
However, if he deemed the situation completely hopeless and he couldn't deal with it on his own, he would simply ask for the demon's help despite the losses he might endure... After all, Emilia's worth was much more than just some attributes!
"I had a weird feeling so I decided to check on you, I guess I interrupted this party" said Yuki with a nervous smile while observing Rize that was staring at him in disgust and without even bothering to speak to him, she immediately extended a tentacle from her back and lunched it at Yuki.
"CAREFUL Yuki!" yelled Emilia, but Yuki wasn't weak either, especially thanks to his slightly enhanced attributes from his constant training
[Strength:6.4 7]
[Speed: 5.9]
[Vitality: 6.6 (+0.6)]
[Soul: 7.5]
He could clearly see and react to Rize's attacks, and he did so by twisting his body to the side dodging it before he started rushing at the ghoul in front of him who was surprised by his speed.
"Oh, not bad" Muttered Rize, but the disgust in her eyes simply increased rather than decrease the closer Yuki got to her so she extended another tentacle and sent it at Yuki who barely dodged it and stepped back as he retrieved his knife.
"So, this is your Kagune huh?" said Yuki surprising Rize who stared at him with a weird smile as she said "Oh, so you know about us"
(A Kagune (red child) is a ghoul's predatory organ and functions as their weapon and claws. It is usually as red as blood, flexible like the flow of water, but firm and sturdy. When released, a ghoul's physique is strengthened, they are more resilient, and their mobility heightens. A Kagune is composed of Rc cells, which flow just like blood, can become as solid as teeth, and can be described as "liquid muscles.

The Kagune are voluntary muscles as ghouls can control them whenever they want and repeatedly harden and soften them at will. The Kagune's size depends on the Rc cells' quality and quantity while the shape depends on the creativity and intellect of the user.)
Yuki shrugged his shoulders and said "It doesn't seem like a fortunate thing to know about you Tinky-Winky"
"Tinky what?" Rize paused for a second as she didn't understand what he was talking about and Yuki couldn't help but let out a sigh seeing that the purple-haired Rize in front of him didn't know about Teletubbies…
Seeing that the ghost looking in front of her was looking at her as if she was the dumbest person he ever met, Rize's anger rose as she started attacking even more violently, and Yuki had to focus on both dodging and blocking sometimes to avoid getting hit by her ever-increasing speed.
'It seems like she's trying to gauge my power' Thought Yuki as he suddenly heard a breaking sound and he noticed his knife which he used to block one of her tentacles breaking into pieces which made his heart ache slightly.
'Tch, I will get my revenge for you don't worry! I will definitely steal her wallet!' Yuki's eyes were full of heroic determination and Emilia looked at him in admiration, if only she knew the reason for that determination, she would have killed him herself.
'Still, I need to be careful, my body of stone is definitely not strong enough to protect me from the attacks of this strong ghoul even with the 15% reduced damage from my [Guardian's horn]
"Time for you to die" Said Rize as she finally decided to attack seriously with her Kagune, the battle would have ended even faster if she attacked physically, but she decided to keep her distance because of the disgusting smell that was making her nauseated.
"It seems like you leave me no choice but to use my ultimate ability" said Yuki suddenly, but Rize didn't take him seriously and started attacking him crazily as some scratches started appearing on his body which Yuki allowed on purpose because he couldn't harm his tough body.
"Yuki…" muttered Emilia in shock, and seeing the bloodied Yuki fighting for her without her being able to do anything made her despise her current weakness…
Meanwhile, as injuries started accumulating on Yuki's body, Rize didn't notice that he was slowly closing the distance between them with each dodge he made, but she noticed that the smell was becoming more unbearable from the blood pouring from his surface injuries…
'I will kill this bitch no matter what' Yelled Yuki inside his head as he felt the burning sensations all over his body. But when he felt that he accumulated enough injuries and had enough blood to work with. His plan finally came into action as he used his soul for the first time.
Indeed! His 7.5 soul wasn't just for show! And before Rize could react, Yuki's blood that was splattered on the ground all around them from his dripping injuries suddenly moved on its own and even rose to the air and landed on her body, the biggest quantity however, landed on her face!

Rize froze as this attack was completely illogical and unexpected to her, and she even felt some blood seeping into her mouth, and as if by instinct, two more Kagune appeared from her back and she started slashing her surrounding crazily while she herself started puking with a pale face…
"AAAAGHH I will definitely kill you" Rize let out a retching noise as she kept puking and in her crazed state as Yuki's blood felt like the worst poison to her.
But Yuki did one miscalculation as one of Rize's Kagune ended up slashing towards Emilia who simply closed her eyes and anticipated being cut in half since even Yuki was too far to protect her in time. But the pain she was expecting didn't come and instead she heard the sound of something being sliced.
Quickly opening her eyes, she saw Yuki standing in front of her thanks to using [Quick step] as a huge amount of blood gushed out of his back and landed on Rize, making her fall into a bigger sense of madness and pain from the disgust she was feeling. Imagine falling into a pile of shit, that's what she was feeling right now, and feeling was amplified for he as ghoul with enhanced senses. After all, originally ghouls can't eat anything but human flesh or other ghouls, but Yuki's minotaur talent changed his disposition… And minotaurs are dungeon creatures… being clean isn't their first priority.
Meanwhile, Yuki didn't stop as he picked Emilia who was strapped tightly to the chair, and started rushing away from Rize who was thrashing madly and destroying everything around her.
"Yuki, are you okay?" asked Emilia with teary eyes but Yuki didn't respond as the burning sensation in his back was killing him. Instead, he focused all his attention on feeding his meager magic to Emilia, while absorbing the negative emotions Rize was emanating and the mixture of positive and negative energies Emilia was releasing for some reason to recover his mana along with the help of the recovery from his Guardian's orb made him a walking charger!
'It seems like some unexpected variation appeared in the plan but this is good enough' thought Yuki as he felt his body getting heavier and heavier for the loss of blood and after running for about 200 meters away from Rize with Emilia in his arms, he finally collapsed down on the floor and started heavily breathing as he felt numb all over his body.
Yuki's plan was simple, in the past few days, he discovered that his soul attribute gave him a power similar to telekinesis making him a psychic in a sense, and remembering the disgust Rize showed him when they first met her, he decided to use his blood to distract her and use that time to help Emilia recover some of her mana.
At first, he wanted to give her his [Guardian's orb] to recover her health and mana, but the system denied this and showed him a panel saying that the item was bound to the host and can't be traded. So, he opted for the second option of giving her his own mana, and hopefully, she will recover enough to fight with Rize again or at least so that the both of them can escape. But he didn't expect Rize would go berserk instead of simply lamenting her fate of falling into a pile of his blood and retreating which resulted in his serious back injury...
'It seems like I overdid it this time as well, tch' thought Yuki in annoyance feeling that his body was getting heavier from all the blood loss, but his strong vitality and [Guardian's orb] were quickly healing him. Especially the latter with its 1% health recovery each minute.
Meanwhile, Emilia who recovered a little bit of mana quickly summoned her sword and freed herself from her bindings before she turned to Yuki and started quickly cutting her jacket to help Yuki stop the bleeding from his back as tears fell constantly from her eyes and she kept repeatedly saying "Idiot".
Yuki ignored her and put his hand on her waist surprising her, but she quickly understood why when she felt her mana start to recover again. Yuki felt like he was pouring mana into an abyss as no matter how much he gave her, it didn't seem enough to fill even 1% of her total mana so he could only mutter "Save enough to teleport us away"
Hearing what he said and seeing that Rize was still thrashing around wreaking havoc in the warehouse, Emilia nodded and removed her transformation as her mana reserves rose slowly. Both of them were heavily incapacitated and couldn't run away
Meanwhile, almost 9 minutes passed as Rize seemed to have regained her sanity and went somewhere, probably to wash the blood from her body.
And those minutes felt like hours as both Yuki and Emilia felt the threat of death falling on them at any moment. But Yuki at least had a chance in escaping using his dimensional link. Emilia on the other hand had none!
And soon, their worst fear came, as Rize came back with an angry look on her now pale sickly face and immediately rushed at Yuki to end him which prompted the latter to say "Quick teleport us away"
But Emilia seemed hesitant as she said "But we won't be able to go far with the current mana I have"
Yuki thought about it for a bit before he said "Teleport yourself alone then, I have another way to leave. QUICKLY!"
"No, I can't…" Emilia was about to refute but Yuki glared at her and said "I SAID NOW! Don't waste any more time, believe in me"
Hearing what he said, Emilia finally decided to trust her savior and teleported as far away as her mana could take her landing her in a forested area of Toyama park and leaving Yuki alone, staring at the rushing Rize who got enraged after Emilia disappeared and started running even faster.
But Yuki simply smiled at her and raised his middle finger while saying "bye bitch" before he thought about using his dimensional link to teleport to Maou but two notifications appeared in front of his face making his eyes freeze before they fell into absolute despair…

Verdant Heart Seed - A Reverend Insanity fan-fiction
Back in the Late Antiquity Era, the protagonist meets his untimely demise. But Heaven and Earth always leaves a way out, his new cultivation journey begins anew on the path of reclaiming his former strength and defying Fate.---This is a story about a native cultivator of the Gu world. He lived in the era of/before Spectral Soul Demon Venerable (two venerable eras before the main RI plot). He suffered the rise of the demon venerable, barely able to make his arrangements before his death. He manages to rebirth, but doesn't everything go as planned. The story starts off in an isolated small word (grotto heaven), until the MC can grow and reclaim his former glory, before surpassing it. (long way, he was already rank 8 before) The MC has a pragmatic worldview, aligned with what you would expect from someone living hundreds of years in that kind of hostile environment. He doesn't shy away from immoral acts if it benefits him. The MC bears close resemblance to Fang Yuan in this regard, but his goal is not eternal life. One of my aims was to showcase the later introduced cultivation rules into the mortal cultivation (dao marks, attainment etc.) and explore novel scenarios within this highly technical cultivation environment.
