《MY Life In The Multiverse》Chapter 48: Quest and 'lucky' fight

Izaya was overwhelmed by surprise seeing Saki actually put all his hopes on Yuki and his heart was filled with intrigue and amusement, but he was interrupted from his thoughts as the Arena worker said "Since Saki withdraws from his match, please prepare yourself to go next, mister Izaya Orihara"
Yuki noticed that the arena worker had a face full of disgust as he looked at Saki and Yuki knew that they were going to fine him for withdrawing just like that since it was in the contract they signed.
However, Yuki could see that a huge burden appeared to have been lifted off of Saki's shoulders as he approached him with a face filled with gratitude and said "Thank you very much Yuki-san, whether you win or lose, I will always be thankful"
Yuki and Izaya were surprised by this and the former couldn't help but say in intrigue "Aren't you worried about losing your last bit of money and hope?"
Saki looked at Izaya with some fear in his eyes reflecting what he felt in his heart and nodded "Of course I'm afraid, how could I not be? My life and that of my children depend on this. But at least I know that I will be there for my daughters to face this difficult future if I lose this bet…"
Izaya's eyes widened before he suddenly started laughing loudly and said "Amazing, ah this is why I love humans, they are the most intriguing creatures ever" then he shot the worker a sly smile before he said "I give up"
"Sir yo-" The worker was about to try to convince him otherwise but Izaya simply shrugged and said "I only came here to vent some steam and have some fun, but I already had plenty of it since I met this man… Yuki huh"
Yuki could see in Izaya's eyes that he was trying to see the face behind the mask and find out his identity so he quickly said to the worker "It should be my turn now, right?" as he slowly stood up and started stretching his bones since he didn't have anything else to stretch…
"Ye-Yes!" The worker finally had some happiness in his eyes because for a moment he thought that his superiors were going to punish him for all the failed fights happening and he was even thinking of blaming the rude bitch for them, but now it seems he was going to get saved, but he will still blame her anyways…
'As much as I wish you weren't the one to go fighting, but this is life…' Thought the worker before he took out his phone to inform the organizers about Saki and Izaya withdrawing to start preparing for Yuki's fight directly.
"Yuki-kun, you really shouldn't do this…" Said Saki in concern but Yuki simply shrugged and said
"Well, I'm short of money so I'm left with no choice… Don't worry, I'm quite the lucky person, the situation will work itself out… I'm sure" said Yuki with a calm look in his eyes that quickly changed into astonishment as he froze completely in place creating a very eerie scene…

Izaya looked at Yuki's eyes curiously trying to read him, but all he could see was a scary eeriness as he stared into the void as if he was about to stab the air in front of him at any moment!
The reason for this is a notification that appeared in front of Yuki.
[Quest: Warrior's Glory]
[Quest Description: No matter the world, no matter the time. Humans always fought for what they wanted, be it fame, money, glory, or power! Blood and carnage were always the deciders and in the end, the spoils of war would go to the winner.]
[Quest Task: Showcase the greatness of the system's host by winning 10 consecutive perfect fights in the underground arena without receiving any damage. Reward: Mastery of any fighting style of your choosing.]
[Quest Punishment: - 20% to all attributes]
[Note: You better not fail this easy mission and lose me face]
Yuki suddenly fell deep in thought 'Knowing how this tricky system works, it's impossible for it to give a mission that I could complete easily, so there's a high chance that one or more of the people I'm going to fight are probably not normal humans…'
At this point, Yuki couldn't help but shoot Izaya an eerie look sending a chill down the latter's spine 'This guy seems like a normal human, yet he has inhuman agility and can easily dodge my sudden attack easily meaning that I shouldn't be arrogant about my enhanced body, and showing my skills is a big no unless it's absolutely necessary, tch'
Izaya noticed that Yuki started emanating a weird light from his eyes, and he knew what this look meant, it was the same crazy look he has when he finds a new toy to entertain him, and he was right because Yuki couldn't help but think 'This is going to be fun…' and he wanted to vent some of his frustrations from his impossible mission.
"Mister Yuki, please follow me" Said the worker who noticed Yuki's sudden change and was surprised by it, but Yuki calmly started following him eerily and they started walking through a corridor that led to the arena.
"Good luck Yuki" said Saki with a worried look on his face as he and Izaya went to the arena to watch the fight together…
As Yuki was walking through the corridor, he started to slowly notice some booing sounds coming from behind the door at the end the corridor and it suddenly dawned upon him that the previous rooms he was in were probably soundproof, that's why they didn't hear the crazy atmosphere going inside the arena, but now, the booing sound was getting stronger and stronger the more he walked inside the corridor causing him to realize something
'This is probably a psychological tactic to put the fighters on their nerves huh? is this supposed to be some kind of test?'
But no one was here to answer his question because the moment they arrived in front of the door and the arena worker said "This is as far as I can take you, good luck" before he opened it and Yuki was hit by a tsunami of emotions, the emotions of the people that were fully packing the arena!

"BOOOO, WHERE ARE THE FIGHTS WE PAID FOR"
"BRING US A FIGHT RIGHT NOW!"
"COWARDS!"
Yuki could hear all kinds of yells coming from the crowd, but they were mostly disappointed by the three people that withdrew consecutively which is the reason for the current howls and boos, and if these people were perceptive enough, they would have noticed that a black-haired young man that just arrived and was standing with the crowd also started to yell and boo with a twisted smile on his face.
It was of course the bastard Izaya that found it hilarious to boo himself with these idiots without them even realizing it…
Meanwhile, Yuki became affected by this electrifying atmosphere and his heart started beating crazily. In his past life, he practiced all kinds of martial arts and even joined some competitions at one point, but he never tried to do it on such a huge stage with this kind of crazy crowd and he started to feel his adrenaline rising as the noise around transformed into a far echo…
Then, he started following two security guards to an octagon that was laying in the middle of the room, and finally, the boos started to turn into cheers as they were finally going to get a fight, a very unfair fight considering the way Yuki looks and how his opponent Kaku looked.
But they didn't care and were thirsty to see some blood! And blood they were going to get…
After Yuki arrived in front of the octagon, he was searched for any weapons on his possession for one last time, and the same thing was happening to his opponent on the other side of the ring, and once they determined that they had none, they were both allowed to enter the octagon!
Yuki stared calmly at his opponent that was wearing a traditional karate kimono that was slightly open at the top showing off his ripped chest muscles and black belt…
At this moment an announcer started introducing the two of them starting with Yuki " Ladies and gentlemen, This fight is between newcomer Yuki with a record of 0-0-0 and Kaku! A black belt in Karate and with a record of 5-1-1! ARE YOU READY FOR CARNAGE?"
The crowd stood up and cheered even harder as the announcer left the stage leaving Kaku and Yuki alone, this place had no referee, the only way to stop a fight is if your opponent had mercy on you… and that was a rare commodity in this arena…
"Kid, you shouldn't have come here, I'm going to enjoy breaking every bone in your body" Said Kaku with a twisted smile on his face.
'Where's the honor and we use our power for self-defense bs of Karate practitioners?' thought in Yuki in bewilderment
Like any other arena, this one also had commentators and they relayed Kaku's words to the crowd which excited them even more. However, Yuki kept simply staring at a scar on Kaku's right cheek so he pointed at it and said "Did someone penetrate your cheek with his dick when you were giving him a blowjob?"
'Dude, a monster with my fists and a demon with my words, you are playing with fire here trying to taunt me' Thought Yuki with a smirk, and the commentators were speechless for a moment before they burst out laughing and relayed Yuki's words to the crowd which turned into an uproar as they started mocking Kaku and some of them even started cheering for Yuki, although they didn't believe for one instant that he could win...
"HAHAHAHA, Kaku let this uncle give you another few scars on your cheeks, I'm sure you will like them" Yelled a person in the audience... and many others followed with similar taunts!
Kaku's face grew dark hearing the people mocking him so he yelled angrily at Yuki "You bastard!" and started rushing at him like a huge truck about to hit a bicycle and the people watching got even more excited as they waited for the crazy impact.
However, the expected impact of Yuki being sent flying through the air and landing in another dimension didn't happen. Instead, just when Kaku pounced on Yuki to take him down, the latter surprisingly tried to run backwards to dodge but he ended up 'stumbling on his feet' causing him to start falling on his back, and just as luck would have it, his right leg ended up hitting Kaku who was now flying above him right in the nuts resulting in him letting out a bloodcurdling bitch scream as he fell on top of Yuki and kept wiggling in pain.
Then, to the astonishment of the crowd, Yuki worked his way out from under Kaku and looked at the speechless crowd before he said with a questioning look on his face while rubbing his ass "I won?"
Silence overwhelmed the crowd until it was broken by the cheers of someone who betted his whole life on Yuki, it was Saki! "YEEEEAAAAAH , let's go Yuki! You really are lucky!"
The crowd seemed to have woken up from a dream as people started whispering "Yes this was luck, it's all luck…"
And hearing this brought a weird look to Izaya's face as he shot Saki beside him a look and thought 'Did he intentionally tell Saki that he was lucky just for this moment? Interesting' A devilish smile appeared on his face as his interest in this kid grew even bigger…
Meanwhile, Kaku tried to struggle back to his feet but he only received another kick for Yuki to the same place, and this time he directly fainted from the pain...

The Lite-LitRPG and Gamelit elements are introduced into the story gradually.) Author's Note: This is my raw, mostly unedited text. I am using RR to test out this story as I'm writing it to get a feel for how the published and edited copy will be received.
