《MY Life In The Multiverse》Chapter 44: New roommate

Seeing Sorata rushing at him with clear bad intentions on his face brought a smile on Yuki's face and he couldn't help but tilt his head and mutter "Do you really think you are a fallen angel or something to be able to pause any threat to me?"
Chihiro who was watching this finally started to get worried, not for Yuki, but for Sorata, because she witnessed firsthand how cruel and good at fighting this seemingly weak-looking kid was, and seeing him mutter silently while staring at Sorata with a weird smile confirmed her premonition. So, she immediately yelled at Sorata "Sorata, stop!"
But Sorata was intent at being the moth that marches into the flames and he actually rushed even faster thinking that Chihiro was trying to protect Yuki … 'If only you know she's protecting you from me and not the other way around..' Thought Yuki with a sigh before he started walking toward Sorata…
'This kid really has guts, doesn't he understand what would happen when someone tries to punch a wall made of stone with his bare hands with their full strength… let's not show Mashiro such a gruesome scene when she gets down from upstairs' thought Yuki calmly while actually watching Sorata moving in slow motion before his eyes…
'Is this the effect of the increase of my speed, or is it because of the increase in my soul? I should really investigate this further. Otherwise, I would die out of boredom every time someone tries to attack me tch'
Then Yuki calmly caught Sorata's punch and twisted his hand causing his whole body to twist along with it until he ended up with his back turned to him. Sorata tried to struggle but no matter what he did, he couldn't get his hand free at all! and he felt like he was strapped to a wall and couldn't move at all!
"What the hell is happening? How could you be so strong? Let go of me!" Sorata's angry face became full of fear as for the first time in his life, he was experiencing what being completely powerless in front of another fellow human being means…
Yuki had an eerie smile on his face as he was reminded of the difficult ordeals he had to go through for his chain quest and whispered in Sorata's ear "This is what happens when you encounter a monster… and be thankful that you encountered a gentle one, for there are many cold-blooded ones out there that would make your life a living hell..."
Sorata's heart started beating very fast and Yuki could feel the huge amount of fear gushing from him and getting absorbed by his magic core…
"Yuki please let him go" Said Chihiro who thought that Yuki might try to break Sorata's hand the same he did to that thug that attacked him the day they met…

"Please remember one thing Chihiro, all of these things happened because of you" said Yuki who was still holding Sorata's hand tightly causing the latter to wince in pain and yell again"Let go of me!"
But Yuki ignored him and looked at the woman in front of him coldly and said " Mashiro's going to relocate to live with me until she finds a better place, I'm sure you are going to like having one less thing to bother with in your 'tough' life"
Then Yuki pushed Sorata away like a bully causing the latter to fall to the floor face first making sure he would end up with some bruises, after all, he wasn't going to let someone that almost punched him in the face leave unscathed…
But Chihiro and Sorata didn't even react to this properly as they only said in shock "Mashiro's leaving with you?"
They didn't know what to say, and Yuki simply didn't want to bother with them anymore so he simply shrugged and left the Sakurasou Dormitory…
30 minutes later, Yuki went back to Sakurasou and he saw that Mashiro was waiting for him along with a sad-looking Chihiro. He couldn't find any traces of that annoying lump of hormones Sorata which was good since he was really losing his tolerance with that kid and might end up really hurting him…
"Are you ready Mashiro?" Asked Yuki while looking at the huge suitcase that was standing beside her.
Mashiro nodded at him before she turned to Chihiro and said " Goodbye"
Chihiro suddenly started crying and hugged her while saying "I'm sorry, I know I'm a bad cousin…"
Mashiro didn't know what to say so she simply patted her on the back while Yuki was tempted to say 'yes, you are the worse'
Then Chihiro turned to look at Yuki and said "Please take care of Mashiro"
"Yea yea" Replied Yuki with absolute disinterest as he didn't need this unresponsible woman to tell him this so he simply said "Let's go"
And with a final nod at Chihiro, Mashiro turned around and left with Yuki, if only she knew she was entering a very dangerous world, a world filled with ghosts and demons…
After riding a cab back to Rosa Villa, Yuki and Mashiro actually ended up meeting Ashiya who appeared to have just came back from buying groceries
Ashiya looked at Yuki's disgusting appearance and then he stared at Mashiro's angelic look, and he kept repeating this as if his brain couldn't analyze or understand the situation, what he was seeing was simply beyond what his otherworldly and simple demonic mind could compute…
"Yuki, what evil magic did you use to trick this poor girl" said Ashiya with a convinced look…
"Go to hell Ashiya" Said Yuki in annoyance and Mashiro simply looked at this curiously not understanding that Ashiya really meant what he said.

"No thanks, I came from there, and believe me, I don't want to go back" Said Ashiya while shaking his head and this interaction was slowly starting to get weird for the weird Mashiro.
"Yea yea, anyway, let me introduce you, this is Mashiro Shiina and she's going to be living with me from now on" said Yuki to Ashiya before he turned to Mashiro and pointed at Ashiya with a disgusted look and said "This bastard is my neighbor Ashiya, he lives with two other bastards like him, I will introduce you to them later…"
Mashiro nodded at him without disagreeing which hurt Ashiya's ego as she easily accepted that he was a bastard and it brought a smile on Yuki's face…
'Just what's going on? Who's this girl?' thought Ashiya before he introduced himself to Mashiro and she did the same and they went to their respective rooms… On the way there, Yuki introduced her to Hanzo as well to get it over with before they entered his room…
Just as they did, Lucifer who was lazily laying on a futon and reading a comic and seemed disinterested when Mashiro was introduced to him quickly jumped to his feet and gave Ashiya a weird look as he said "What kind of sorcery is this?"
Ashiya shook his head and said "I don't know" and they quickly put their ears on the wall and tried to hear what was going on the other side… the side they started to refer to as the cursed lands….
"We need to investigate this… let's invite them for dinner later when my lord comes back" Said Ashiya who didn't care for their financial situation for once as he was simply too intrigued by how that ghost could land himself such a cute girl while they were stuck with nothing…
It's all jealousy…
Meanwhile, as Yuki was showing Mashiro his simple room. He was expecting her to have a dissatisfied reaction, but surprisingly she appeared to accept it without much care and only said "They seem nice"
The two demons were overjoyed hearing this from the other side of the wall and Ashiya actually burst out laughing before he immediately was cut off when Hanzo closed his mouth with his hands with a fearful look… But it was too late as some veins already appeared on Yuki's forehead and he replied with a creepy smile "They are indeed very nice, they always lend me money, and I think I'm going to borrow some more from them soon…"
Hearing this, Ashiya's face turned blue as he fell down to the floor defeated…
Later at noon, Yuki made some arrangements to get Mashiro's furniture and other belongings which she couldn't carry to be delivered to Rosa Villa, and right now, he was in the process of setting them up in his room with the help of the two demons...
Hanzo simply kept complaining about making him work, but Ashiya had different thoughts as his eyes kept shining in amazement as he muttered "What a great idea to get free furniture… Yuki really is the master of trickery…"
However, Yuki had dark lines on his face as he kicked Ashiya in the ass and said "Stop talking and let's quickly finish with all of this"
There weren't many things since she was living in a dorm, so things like a bed a chair, and a simple desk were provided along with the room…
However, Mashiro still bought a huge mirror another professional desk and chair for her writing as well as a dresser and an armoire.
Yuki didn't have any problems thanks to his enhanced attributes, but Ashiya and Lucifer were different, their powers are derived mainly from their magic, and because they were currently almost drained of it thanks to yesterday's fight, they were no different than normal humans and Yuki really enjoyed working their asses off…
After setting everything inside his room that finally started to appear like a room where a human lived… Yuki turned to Ashiya and Hanzo who were talking with Mashiro with their sweat-filled faces full of warm smiles after she thanked them…
'If only she saw the insult they were raining on him every time they leave the room, tch'
"Mashiro, let's go, we still need to buy somethings" Said Yuki as they needed to buy her a bed to sleep on, and he was also planning on buying a fridge and a washing machine… Of course, using her money since she was rich but he will return it to her since he has a good plan to make money…
And after they were done buying all their necessities and putting Ashiya and Hanzo through another round of heavy lifting, Mashiro finally settled down in her new home and Yuki asked her when he saw her sitting on her bed silently "Is everything okay?" and he sat beside her…
Mashiro looked at his scary face for a while before she said one word "Yes" and left many words unsaid, but one she was sure of is that she was very happy right now…
"That's good, later in the evening, Maou will come back and you should go introduce yourself to him as well, he's a very nice guy and if you ever need something and I'm not around, you can ask him for help okay?"
Mashiro nodded at him and then she was surprised when she saw Yuki suddenly standing up and starting to stretch before he said "I'm going out for a while, I will be back for dinner" and Mashiro nodded at him and went to draw some manga…
As for Yuki, he was going to start his money-making plan and his destination was the Tokyo Arena…
