Yuki quickly swindled his two dear demon neighbors off a 10000 Yen using the excuse of them spying on him before he dressed himself up and fixed his unfixed appearance in vain before he decided to go out to meet his dear hero and savior Emilia happily with the new money he got and completely forgetting that he called this woman with another girl's name which was a taboo for women… A taboo he was going to pay the price for very soon...

"I wonder what I should buy with this money, hmmm I don't have a fridge… or a washing machine but this isn't enough to buy these kinds of utilities… hmm I should really try and find a job. He wasn't in a rush and took his time walking to the station, but he still arrived there right in time, which was 30 minutes after Emilia called him and he could see in the huge clock above the door of the entrance that it was 5:30 Pm.

"Good, right on time as always… What a gentleman" muttered Yuki to himself, his ego spilling on the floor and almost creating a flood around him and the moment he entered, he noticed a magenta-haired woman standing alone with her hands crossed wearing a casual outfit consisting of blue jeans and a pink shirt and a simple open jacket over them.

This was of course Emilia who arrived 5 minutes earlier than Yuki and was waiting for him with a grumpy look on her face and the moment she noticed the birds flying away and the people staring at the entrance with scared looks on their faces. She immediately understood that guy she was waiting for has arrived, and she noticed the smug look on his face…

'This bastard letting me wait here and dares to have that smug look on his face…' Emilia thought hatefully, completely ignoring the fact that she was actually the one that arrived too early because of her anxiety…

"YO, Emi-san you look lov-" Yuki was about to compliment her, but Emilia who already had a grudge against him didn't give him the chance to finish before she interrupted him and said "Yuki you bastard, how dare you let me wait here for you!"

Yuki was taken by surprise and decided to double-check with the clock on his phone just in case and he saw that it was barely 5:31 pm so he awkwardly said "Sorry I let you wait 1 minute I guess?"

Hearing what he said, Emilia thought that he was being sarcastic to her so she quickly tried to pinch his stomach to take her revenge but there was no reaction from the boy in front of her so she put more force in her pinch…

"grrrr" Emilia did her best to the point that she started growling and her face turned red while pinching Yuki but he still had the same awkward look on his face while staring at her head that started to appear like a bomb about to go off at any moment turning a shade redder every second so he said while rubbing the back of his head and looking at their surrounding...

"What are you doing Emi? You are making the people look at us weirdly…" However, his calming words had the absolute opposite effect as Emilia started yelling at him "I'm making the people look at us weirdly?"

"Ahum" Yuki coughed slightly to hide his embarrassment before he said "We should go now, and stop pinching my stomach, you look too cute right now, that's why the people are looking at us" he pinched her nose slightly to distract her and Emilia simply stared at him doubtfully as she thought

Inside the train, Yuki was sitting beside Emilia while looking out of the window to the view that this new world had to offer and couldn't stop to amaze him before he suddenly realized something so he asked "Wait, I still don't know where are we going?"

"We are going to Akihabara, I believe it's the favorite place for boys your age to go, am I right?" Said Emilia without looking at Yuki which made him think 'Why's she acting like a tsundere all of a sudden?'

And being someone who understands the logic that even a small problem could turn into a large one if not addressed at its birth, Yuki immediately asked her "Emi, why are you acting weird around me? If there's something you want to say, please say it directly, I don't want to see you like this"

Emilia was surprised at first by how perceptive Yuki was and she couldn't help but think 'He reminds me of Maou…' and the image of the two of them was about to superimpose over each other, but when Maou's image saw that it was approaching Yuki's, it quickly turned around and ran away…

"What kind of sorcery is this?" Muttered Emilia with a dumbfounded look on her face surprising Yuki who simply tilted his head and kept staring at her waiting for her to elaborate on what she meant but she simply faked a cough to hide her embarrassment before she turned around to see that no one was near them and said with a serious look on her face

"Yuki, why can you use that dark shield? And what's wrong with your body? Are you from Ente Isla? And most importantly…" here Emilia paused slightly and with a grave and slightly fearful look on her face, she asked "Are you related to those demons?"

'So, this is what it's all about huh?' Yuki's foggy mind finally cleared up and he understood what was wrong with Emilia 'So she's not angry because I called her with the wrong name, good good, this is easier to explain' thought Yuki before he said

"I awakened my magic during the incident of the underground mall collapsing, and you are right, I can use dark magic but you are wrong about something"

Emilia was surprised and disappointed by him telling her this because she still had a slight amount of hope that that barrier wasn't made by dark magic which was the signature mana used by demons and evil forces but she still asked him "What am I wrong about?"

"I not only can use dark mana but also light mana" said Yuki with a shrug to which Emilia's face suddenly froze before she suddenly stood up in shock and said "Impossible! How can a person use both types of mana! They aren't supposed to coexist?"

Her yell drew the attention of many people, but they simply assumed that it was a lover's quarrel and ignored them and Yuki simply shook his head and said "It's the truth, look…" And then he extended both his hands in a way so that only Emilia could see them, and to the absolute shock and marvel of this hero. She saw in his right hand that a white spot started slowly appearing and on his left hand, a dark spot appeared before they both instantly disappeared…

Emilia couldn't help but sit back with a defeated look on her face while looking at the smug Yuki who was thinking 'I could barely control them using the method Maou gave me of focusing on the magic core inside my abdomen and trying to draw something from it…' At first, Yuki couldn't do it at all, but then he thought about exchanging the idea of drawing mana from his magic core by stealing it instead and the moment he thought this way, his intense greed helped him succeed in this task…

"Yuki, just who in the world are you?" asked Emilia both delighted that he wasn't related to the demons, and confused by what and who he is.

"Well, it's hard to explain but…" Yuki suddenly leaned closer and started whispering into her ear causing a blush to appear on Emilia's face… "Remember the power that gave me the prophecy, that same power was the one that kept you sealed away when Lucifer and Olba attacked us and it was this same power that rewarded me these abilities when I completed certain tasks…"

Emilia was suddenly hit by a realization and the situation finally started to make sense to her as she asked "Yuki, you need to be careful of this kind of power, even Maou and I couldn't do anything to break that barrier…"

"Don't worry, there's nothing I'm more careful of than that bitc- that power" said Yuki with a sigh before he decided to change the subject and asked Emilia instead "Are we all good now?"

Emilia heaved a sigh of relief now that she knew that Yuki didn't lie to her at the start and seeing how he trusted her with his secrets made her very happy so when she heard him say this, she was about to nod at him with a gentle and happy smile…

However, Yuki noticed how that smile suddenly froze and turned into something more sinister… it turned into a reflection of his face as Emilia asked him with a gentle voice "Who's Mashiro?"
