While Lucifer and Olba were getting a nice beating from Maou and Ashiya. Yuki on the other hand was standing beside the unconscious Chiho and Emilia who was healing her with a lost look in her eyes and observed them quietly...

'What's my reason to live anymore? Was I only a tool all along? Was all of them lying to me?' Emilia felt her heart breaking apart at the thought of the people that always showered her with smiles and kept pushing her to become a hero despite her only wanting to live happily with her dad suddenly stabbing her in the back with the same swords they used to train her...

And as she was falling into despair, Yuki finally made his move as a skeletal hand suddenly landed on her shoulder, and she found a creepy looking boy staring at her with a terrifying smile causing a shiver to go through her body disrupting her healing magic and making her forget her sorrows for a second as they were replaced by fear!

"Don't worry, everything is going to be fine" Said Yuki with a gentle voice and even narrowed his eyes slightly to make his face look gentler. However, Emilia only saw a threatening monster eying his prey so she nervously nodded and said with a stutter "R-Right"

"You know life is strange" said Yuki as he paused and raised his head to the sky pretending to be wise and Emilia simply stared at him with a weird look on her face as he continued

"My grandpa always told me, The tragedy of life isn't when you slip and fall on the ground. No, it's when you keep bothering me when I'm reading my books and believe me Yuki, you don't want to experience it" Yuki had a look of admiration in his eyes while Emilia's weird expression grew much more weirder as she thought 'It seems his creepiness is genetic' and an image of a creepy old man appeared in her mind... Then she noticed Yuki putting his hands behind his back to create a 'better' image

"Ah, that man knew what life is all about…" Said Yuki and Emilia finally couldn't hold back and said angrily "What's the point of all of this?" 'What the hell is wrong with this guy? Does he seriously think that he can comfort me with this?' Emilia was really perplexed by this weird guy who looked at her in surprise before he said

"Eh, you don't get it?"

"Get what?" replied Emilia who started getting agitated

"Ah, I thought you were smarter" Said Yuki while shaking his head in disappointment and Emilia was starting to get the urge to punch this guy in the face as he continued saying

"You see the point is. What I learned at that time is to be like grandpa, you should be the tragedy for others and not the other way around" Yuki had a look of isn't it obvious and Emilia couldn't help but say "You and your grandpa are definitely going to hell"

"Ahum" Yuki coughed in embarrassment while thinking 'I'm probably already there with all these demons surrounding me... Tch, I really suck at comforting people' as he let out a sigh while looking at Emilia who was looking at him with a weird look in her eyes so he said "Well, he also used to tell me this…" Yuki suddenly had a sad look in his eyes that attracted Emilia's attention as he said "This is something that helped me get over the incident of my parent's death…"

BOOM BOOM BOOM

Explosions echoed from the demons fighting but Emilia still heard him clearly as he said "Don't dwell on the past for it's dead, and don't overthink the future for it's an illusion and if you don't like the present, well fuck it too"

"huh?" Emilia was dumbfounded at how such a thing could help him get past his parent's death and Yuki continued "Ss I asked... Grandpa, what should I do at that point? And he would always look at me with a gentle smile and say. Nothing, you are fucked"

"PFFFT hahahaha" Emilia suddenly burst out laughing and she felt her burdened heart suddenly getting lighter as she felt carefree for some reason

'I wish I could be like you grandpa…' Yuki couldn't help but remember how his grandpa would make fun of any difficult situation, and somehow, he ends up making the impossible look possible…

And just then, two notifications appeared in front of Yuki, the first was about the completion of the third and final task

'Finally… This terrible chain quest is finally over' Yuki let out a sigh of relief seeing that this horrible mission was finally over and he decided to accept the rewards later when he's alone in his apartment, and while he was thinking this he saw Emilia looking at him with a grateful look in her eyes as she said shyly "Thank you…"

Yuki smiled at her and said "Oh, I never thought you could be this cute"

Emilia's face grew a shade redder hearing Yuki tease her as she stuttered "What are you talking about you bastard, you mean you didn't think I was cute before?"

Yuki let out a laugh and said "Oh someone wants a compliment?" and Emilia angrily sent him flying with a punch while yelling "Go to hell" and she turned around to continue healing Chiho with a slight smile on her face…

"Tch, what a scary woman" Muttered Yuki as he stood up from the ground and saw a demon lord and his general approaching them with captives in their hands

"Yo, good job you guys" Said Yuki while looking at Lucifer who had a completely swollen face, and Olba who was completely unconscious in no better state.

Emilia however, wasn't as laid back and stood in front of Yuki in case Maou tries to do anything since he recovered his power, but Yuki simply put his hand on her shoulder and pulled her back while saying "Relax"

"But he's the demon lor-" Emilia tried to justify her actions but Yuki simply shook his head and said "I know, and I don't care"

Before he turned to Maou who was rubbing his head, not knowing what to say to Emilia while observing Chiho's condition secretly at the same to check if she was alright… "Maou-san, what should we do about the current situation?"

The four of them couldn't help but look at the devastation around them with sad looks on their faces before Maou said "Don't worry, leave it to me" Before he suddenly started amassing a terrifying amount of Magic and created a huge barrier that enveloped the whole zone that was affected by the destruction

"What are you doing?" muttered Emilia in disbelief before Maou started muttering words in an unknown language to Yuki to help him cast a huge time rewind spell and before long, the whole area turned gray and everything started to go back in time and rearrange itself the way they were before, including reviving the dead people which left Yuki speechless at such magical powers. This was the demon lord!

But the scale was simply too big so Maou felt that the magic he gathered wasn't enough so he signaled to Ashiya with his eyes who quickly understood and started transferring his magic to him.

At this point, Chiho who was healed finally woke up and she witnessed this imaginable scene of Maou holding his hands up while speaking in the weird language she kept hearing in her head and the destroyed world around her kept getting fixed like pieces of a puzzle falling in their place perfectly…

"Why's he doing this?" Asked Emilia, not wanting to believe that the demon lord would do such a nice thing when he actually had the chance to conquer this world and even return to Ente Isla and conquer it with the power he recovered since she couldn't stop him.

Hearing her question, Yuki replied calmly"I don't know… Do you need a reason to be nice?" but Emilia wasn't convinced as she said "But he's the demon lord, he's heartless and cruel…"

At this point, Yuki suddenly looked at her coldly and said "Emilia, that guy over there is supposed to be the archbishop of the church, yet he didn't mind sacrificing people to kill you guys, remember this, the world isn't black or white, and so are people's hearts, they can change at any time…"

Emilia suddenly found herself falling into deep contemplation and for the first time, she started questioning her knowledge about the reason for the wars in Ente Isla…

Not long after, Maou started absorbing the magic in Lucifer and Olba as well to fuel his spell as he started heavily sweating but he barely finished the job and everything was recovered back to its normal state.

But the people whose memories were wiped will never understand where these 30 minutes of their life from 8:10 to 8:40 was gone… and it would give birth to many conspiracies involving the government doing experiments and whatnot. Yet they will never know that the one behind it was a man working at MgRonald…

"Finally…" Said Maou as he fell on his butt dead tired from overexerting himself as Chiho rushed to his side to see if he was okay "Maou-san are you okay? Thank you for restoring everything…"

Maou looked at this innocent girl that didn't ask anything about his demonic form and couldn't help but smile warmly and respond "I'm fine, and you should thank Yuki, he went to unimaginable lengths to save you…"

Chiho turned to Yuki and remembered everything he went through to save her and her heart was full of gratefulness as she approached him and was about to thank him when she suddenly remembered a scene.

The scene of a right hook connecting with her jaw and switching her lights off! But she somehow felt it wasn't possible as the memories of him saving her and him hitting her kept overlapping over each other before one of them finally became clearer as she looked at his creepy smile and reluctantly said "Thank you for saving me"

'This bitch, I bet if Maou wasn't here she would have cursed me… tch ungrateful' thought Yuki but outwardly he responded with a smile "Nah you don't need to thank me, that was the RIGHT thing to do… In fact, if you want me to HOOK you up with my neighbor, I will help you at any time"

Everyone was thinking that Chiho would be embarrassed when she hears this but only she knew what Yuki was implying with his smug smile 'I will knock you out again you ungrateful bitch' and she couldn't help but think while grinding her teeth 'This bastard!'

And as these two were having an invisible battle, Two people suddenly approached their group. They were a big well-built man that has short, white hair, a goatee, and yellow eyes and wears gold, hoop earrings, and beside him was a girl with a small figure and a child-like face, and her eyes appeared half-asleep.

She was wearing a cape and magician outfit of Ente Isla and a hat. She has short green-blue, almost shoulder-length hair that curls at the bottom, and her eyes are of the same color.

They were Albert and Emerada. Emilia's teammates and the reason for the earthquakes that kept hitting Tokyo as well as the voices in Chiho's head…
