'This guy already recovered? what should I do now?' Yuki started analyzing the situation to the best of his abilities 'I can only do that and hope it would work…' He thought as he noticed Lucifer charging another destructive magic ball and was aiming it at him and Chiho…

"DIE!" yelled Lucifer as he unleashed the magic bomb uncaring of the trio's yelling for him to stop…

Seeing the baseball-sized dark magic ball about to be unleashed on his way, Yuki quickly hugged Chiho which surprised her before he jumped away along with her, causing the ball to barely miss them. However, the explosion caused the whole corridor as well as the rest of the building other than room 201 that was still floating in the air thanks to the weird barrier to collapse…

"NOOO" Yelled Emilia and Maou as they kept bashing the barrier to no avail, but Lucifer wasn't satisfied as he kept raining destructive balls at the debris until a scene of devastation lay before his eyes and there was no sign of that hateful ghost surviving…

Then he turned to Maou and the rest and started attacking the barrier with all kinds of magic trying to break it and kill the people inside it who were still weak with very low magic to fight him…

Meanwhile, under the rubble, Yuki actually used his dark shield at the last minute to cover him and Chiho to protect him from Lucifer's magic as well as some of the debris on top of him which is why they weren't revealed to Lucifer.

As for why he survived the damage from the debris falling over him and trying to crush him. It was all thanks to the reward he received from completing the fourth task just after he got attacked by Olba!

[Quest Task 4: Land at least one hit on Lucifer and Olba without getting yourself killed. Rewards: Skill: Heart of stone(Passive)]

That's right! he completed this task because he landed some spectacular hits on both of them, but that wasn't what saved him, instead it was the additional reward he received for it. Another ability called body of stone (passive), and he checked their description while swallowing water like a maniac to offset the heat.

[Heart of stone (passive): +25% Resistance to crowd control attacks including, fear, stun, sleep, hypnosis, and mind control]

[Body of stone (passive): The user's muscles, bones, organs, and tendons gain defensive properties equal to stone without losing their normal properties] (Meaning the skin is still skin and could be stretched but it got tougher)

And thank to this body of stone ability in particular, Yuki shielded Chiho under him using his own body and kept reusing his dark shield every time the cooldown refreshed until the attacks completely stopped and Lucifer turned his attention to the barrier hindering Maou and the rest.

But this doesn't mean he was unharmed, Yuki's whole body was bloodied, after all, even though his body had the toughness of stones. Lucifer's attacks could destroy buildings easily… and he wasn't as thick as a building. And Chiho too was heavily injured and barely surviving thanks to Yuki, but this won't last for long if they don't get out soon as they will die from suffocating instead…

'Please be over quickly' said Yuki inside his head while looking at the girl under him that was unconscious, this time, however, it wasn't from his magnificent right hook… at the same time, he kept hearing explosion sounds above them and he guessed that Lucifer was attacking the barrier in his crazy mode…

A few meters above Yuki and Chiho, Lucifer indeed kept attacking the barrier with his magic, and surprisingly, unlike the trio's attacks that weren't effective at all, Lucifer's attacks made the barrier grow fainter and fainter as its light started dimming at a faster rate which made Maou's eyes ignite with a dangerous light as he thought…

'How come his attacks are working?' and someone else was having similar thoughts 'How come the mission's time is getting lower and lower all of a sudden' Of course it was Yuki who noticed that before the mission required him to stall for time until 8:30 Am, but now it was getting lower 8:29, 8:28, 8:27.

Almost every 10 seconds, the mission's time would get lower by a minute and at the same time, his head kept getting lighter and lighter from the lack of oxygen and he felt like he was going to lose consciousness at any moment but he knew that would spell his certain death and seeing that there's some new hope, he waited and waited patiently.

After all, even if he wanted to escape from under the rubble right now, he couldn't, as it simply weighed way more than his measly one point in strength could lift…

"Soon, all of you will die" Yelled Lucifer who noticed that the barrier was about to vanish and just as it did, he was preparing to attack them. But Maou's reaction was even faster as he grabbed both Ashiya and Emilia and teleported away to the place where he felt the negative emotions are most concentrated…

"Damn you, I won't let you run away" Yelled Lucifer who was looking like a true devil with his eyes open wide and bloodshot and quickly teleported after them…

Meanwhile, a certain Olba finally healed himself from the poison that Yuki injected into him "Damn that kid, I will take my time torturing you" and he quickly went back to Villa Rosa but he found only destruction

"Lucifer probably went berserk here too huh? too bad, I really wanted to kill that kid with my own hands" muttered Olba before he heard the sound of explosions a kilometer away and quickly flew there to help Lucifer…

Meanwhile just as Olba went away. A skinny and pale hand covered in dirt broke out from the rubble until a boy completely emerged from it while holding an injured girl in his embrace… both were bloodied, but the boy seemed to be better off as his eyes shined with a terrifying light before they subsided

"Who would have thought I would gain such an incredible ability?" muttered Yuki in wonder while checking his new system interface

Yuki couldn't help but remember the huge changes that happened to him while he was under the rubble, but instead of the expected bulking up. He got even skinnier, all because of the additional reward of completing the second task.

'I really wanted to look normal, but now it seems like my hopes are getting further and further away from me…' thought Yuki before he looked at the bloodied Chiho and snapped from his useless thoughts as he started rushing to where Maou and the rest went for two reasons.

First, they can use their magic to heal Chiho, and second, he still needed to complete his third task

'Hopefully, I'll get there in time' thought Yuki as he felt his hands getting wet from the blood leaking from Chiho, unaware that he was moving at an astonishing speed for a human, and people only saw a white blur when he passed by them…

Meanwhile, after Maou teleported the trio to a crowded area, Lucifer quickly followed after them, and because they didn't have time to recover their magic. Lucifer actually made quick work of Maou and Ashiya as they both got hit with one of his destructive magic balls creating huge wholes on them as they fell down unconscious…

Emilia felt like she was about to lose her mind as she saw everyone dying around her one after the other, and to make matters worse, Olba suddenly reappeared and started mocking her so she finally snapped and attacked the two of them with the rest of her power "This is for Yuki and Chiho you bastards" she yelled while jumping in the air and slashed her sword at Lucifer.

But to her surprise, he simply caught it with his hand and hit her with a spinning back kick that sent her flying like a cannonball before she smashed on the ground creating a huge fissure on it and Olba slowly landed close to her and said with a sickening smile "This is the end Emilia" and he conjured a magic knife and was about to finish her with it…

'Am I really going to die? I guess there's no reason for me to live anyways…' Emilia lost all hope as she closed her eyes and resigned herself to her fate, but she suddenly heard Olba exclaim in surprise as the sound of an impact echoed…

*Clang*

"You, why are you alive! YOU DAMN GHOST!" yelled Lucifer as his rage ignited again and when Emilia opened her eyes, she witnessed a scene she never expected to see. Yuki standing in front of her with his hand extended conjuring a dark shield that was blocking Olba's knife.

"Yuki…" Muttered Emilia absentmindedly and Yuki turned around and said with a smile "Everything's okay now" before he turned to Olba and retrieved the knife coated in cyanide and threatened him with it "Yo, still didn't have enough of that suffering?"

Seeing the small knife, Olba took a step back but Lucifer didn't care as he started attacking with his magic balls again sending two of them at the same time which directly broke Yuki's shield!

But he wasn't depending on it as he quickly picked Emilia and ran back to where he put Chiho and said "Please help heal her"

Seeing the bloodied Chiho that was barely clinging to life, Emilia finally snapped out of her daze and rushed to her side as she said "Chiho-chan please hang in there"

"Don't you dare ignore ME!" Yelled Lucifer and was going to attack again but Yuki simply smiled at him and said "Your opponent is not me anymore"

"What are yo-" Lucifer was about to retort as he thought everyone was dead but a cold voice suddenly interrupted him as a huge demon slowly stood up "Good job Yuki, I can't thank you enough"

"Just deal with these two for me will you?" replied Yuki as he looked at Maou who recovered his strength and the latter simply nodded and said "Don't worry, we are really pissed right now, right Ashiya?"

A demon covered in a dark cloak rose from the rubble and responded to Maou "That's right my lord, I'm really angry…"

"You two are alive…" Emilia stared dumbfounded as Maou and Ashiya who emanating a cold demonic aura suddenly teleported in front of Lucifer and Olba and started giving them the beating of their lives…
