Seeing how Yuki stole the teacup by misdirecting Maou's attention to the teapot, the real Yuki who became a thief before he died from overdosing couldn't help but watch from the afterlife in amazement and think 'So this is how it's done!'

Meanwhile, after Yuki 'calmed' down and stopped shaking Ashiya, he gave him one final angry look before he said "I will remember this, you bastard…"

"Ahum" Ashiya cleared his throat nervously and didn't say anything again, meanwhile Yuki turned to Maou and said "Anyway, back to our point. When I saw Emilia's reaction to you being on a date with Chiho, I knew those two won't follow the plan so I decided to look for the perpetrators on my own, and I think I found them…"

Then, Yuki showed the video he filmed of Lucifer using magic, and Maou's eyes immediately turned cold while Ashiya yelled in disbelief "Impossible, wasn't he supposed to be dead? I thought Hero Emilia killed him when he attacked the church's forces! And why is he with that bastard Olba?"

"It seems like my guess was right… he somehow colluded with the church and faked his death after they promised him some kind of benefits…" muttered Maou before he looked at Yuki curiously and said "But Yuki… How did you find them?"

"Oh; that's easy" Yuki leaned in while holding the phone closer to them with his right hand and showed them how he was observing them from the shop just opposite the coffee shop they were in "I thought that if an attack was going to happen, most likely the assailants are going to be observing you closely, that's when I found that the shop facing the coffee shop was the best location for that so I went there and found these two suspicious people" said Yuki making them see how the camera of the phone started filming Maou and Chiho making Maou and Ashiya focus closely on it.

Meanwhile, Yuki's left hand was secretly doing its magic while the two demons are unaware… "As for why I thought it was these two specifically, I noticed that they kept staring at you with a weird look in their eyes, and that bald guy looks like a creep anyways so I thought he might be the one after you…"

'You have no right to call someone else a creep' thought Ashiya while looking at Yuki's eerie eyes that were very close to their faces as he was leaning in to show them the video…

"Anyways, now you know the full story, I'm going back to my room to have some rest, this was really an exhausting experience both mentally and physically" Said Yuki with a tired look on his face.

"Um you are right, but first I want to ask you, Yuki… Are you really fine with knowing that we are demons?" asked Maou seriously, and the answer he would receive would determine if he wipes Yuki's memories or not to make his life easier for him…

"Hah, Of course not, you two bastards almost killed me twice, but at least now I know that I should be careful around the two of you less I turn into a real ghost" replied Yuki with a matter-of-fact tone.

'No, even ghosts don't want to be compared to you nor have you in their ranks' thought Maou and Ashiya in their heads, and Maou was about to wipe his memory when Yuki suddenly said with a genuine smile "But you are my dear neighbors, and I think we are going to work out our differences just fine" this left Maou and Ashiya surprised and as Yuki left, Ashiya couldn't help but say "My lord is it really fine? "

"This doesn't seem to be affecting him too much so I guess it's fine, plus we should really be thankful that he helped us find out the identity of our attackers" Said Maou as he remembered the look on Lucifer's eyes while he was observing him and Chiho and it made him worried…

"That's right, we had a lot of misunderstandings with him, but he seems to be a nice and dependable guy overall" replied Ashiya before he said "let me serve you some tea my lord"

Maou nodded at him and said "Sure" and extended his hand to the teapot that was supposed to be beside him yet his hand caught nothing but air…

"What's wrong my lord?" asked Ashiya while looking at Maou's discolored face as he noticed that a teacup was also missing…" Our expensive tea set is gone! That bastard, he distracted us and stole it"

Said Maou and Ashiya simply stared at him with a bewildered look before he said " now that you mention it, that guy kept walking with his left hand hidden behind him all the way until he left and kept pretending like he was scratching his ass, but he probably acted that way to hide his heinous action!"

Maou was devastated by this expensive loss, and Ashiya couldn't help but mutter "I really wonder who's the real demon…"

Meanwhile, Maou's eyes flashed secretly as he remembered the scene when Yuki wasn't affected by his sleep spell but didn't say anything as he thought 'I wonder too…'

Back at his apartment, Yuki enjoyed some tea from his new tea set while thinking about his next course of action 'The second task requires me to save Chiho…' and opened his system panel to check it again

The next morning, Emilia came to check on Maou and ask him about his recovered strength and if he was up to no good, and a similar scene to the original story happened as she tried to leave in a hurry and ended up falling down the stairs and Maou and Ashiya started taking care of her… she was hesitant of going to Yuki because of how depressed she made him yesterday so she ended up having an emotional talk with Maou about why he was acting kind to the people of this world despite his identity as a demon lord.

And hearing him apologize for his actions made all of Emilia's pursuits lose their meaning as she kept yelling at him emotionally for killing and tormenting her people and killing her father until they were suddenly interrupted by Chiho who came with Ashiya after he went to the pharmacy to buy a few things to treat Emilia.

And she quickly bit on the misunderstanding and started running away while crying until Shiba Miki the landlord came in and warned them about her getting targeted and showing them that she knows about their identity before she left and right after, an earthquake hit again…

"We need to go save Chiho" said Maou as he started running but when he reached the door of his apartment, a barrier suddenly blocked his path, and no matter what they tried to do to leave, nothing worked!

"What's going on?" Said Emilia worried that something might happen to Chiho if they stay trapped here and Maou simply shook his head "I don't know, I never saw this kind of high-level barrier in my life"

And just then, a ghost started walking past their room while holding a steel pipe in his hand and Maou quickly called for him "Yuki, please save Chiho"

Yuki could see the urgency in his eyes and seeing the barrier that was blocking them he thought 'So this is what you were playing you fucking system… now I'm truly fucked…' Before he nodded at Maou and he noticed Emilia's worried look as she quickly said "Are you crazy, asking him to do such a thing?"

But she then saw Yuki simply ignore her and started walking away from them which prompted her to yell with teary eyes " NO, Yuki stop!"

But he didn't stop, and after leaving the Rosa Villa, he looked at the time on his phone and saw that it was 8:10 AM…

"20 minutes left huh" muttered Yuki before he started chasing after Chiho and before long he saw Lucifer was talking to her saying

"I really appreciate that you fell into despair…" Yuki noticed that he was absorbing the negative emotions around Chiho to recover his mana as she stood fearfully in front of him.

And a passerby who witnessed this finally couldn't stand it and approached Lucifer to tell him to stay away from Chiho but found himself getting pushed with something that appeared from Lucifer's back, Dark angel-like wings…

"It's time to hunt, and you are going to be a good bait… The time for me to surpass the demon lord has come…" Said Lucifer as he stretched his wings, ready to start destroying everything but an eerie voice suddenly interrupted him as someone appeared behind the scared Chiho

"Yo, we meet again"

Chiho recognizing this voice quickly turned around and saw that it was Yuki, which brought some tears to her eyes that started falling when he hid her behind his frail body to protect her…

"Oh, you are that interesting guy from the underground mall huh? You actually survived... Unfortunately, I have no use for you so you should die" Said Lucifer before he suddenly rushed at Yuki with a terrifying speed and raised him by the neck.

However, Lucifer saw no fear in his eyes as Yuki only had an evil smile before he appeared to bite on something in his mouth and blew it on Lucifer's face, causing a red powder to appear that caught Lucifer off guard and touched his eyes…

"AAAAAA" Lucifer started screaming as he let go of Yuki and held his eyes with both hands as he felt them about to melt from the intense heat he was feeling…

"Heh, serves you right" Said Yuki who just blew the hottest chili powder he could find in the market in this devil's eyes before he too suddenly froze and his face turned red like a tomato and felt the inside of his mouth about to melt but he endured it and turned to Chiho with his now swollen lips and barely said "Les go" and started dragging her away as Lucifer kept thrashing on the ground while holding his eyes and yelling

"I WILL DEFINITELY KILL YOU"
