As Yuki was lamenting his fate for having to talk to this cute but hard to deal with girl. Chihiro on the other hand kept snickering at his blonde misfortune which prompted him to send her a hateful glare while thinking 'Just wait, you will fall in my hands one day…'

Then he turned back to Mashiro with a constantly twitching face and decided he keep reasoning with her until one of them gives up, or what he's saying goes through her head and stays there! And he had to do all of this while trying not to hurt her emotions, making Yuki feel like he was holding an elephant over an egg and trying not to drop it…

"Liking someone to be in a relationship with them and just liking them as a person is two different matters…" Yuki tried to explain, but this little troublemaker just wouldn't let it go and said with a slightly sad expression "So, Yuki doesn't like me…"

Yuki started shooting Chihiro an imploring look trying to get her to save him from this rapidly drowning ship, and her heart finally softened a little when she saw the situation was escalating way out of hand and decided to help him, but not before she shot him a look that said 'You owe me one'

'This bitch really knows how to annoy me' Yuki thought as he saw Chihiro put on her serious teacher face and said "Mashiro, you shouldn't ask this kind of private question from a person, especially since you two just met each other today…"

Mashiro didn't understand why she couldn't ask but she reluctantly nodded her head and decided to listen to her cousin while feeling her heart pained and it was clear to anyone seeing this that she was sad…

Noticing her behavior, Yuki couldn't help but let out a sigh and pat her head gently as he thought 'This girl is tricky, I can't reason with her, If it was a normal girl, I could simply tell her 'what about you, do you like me?' And hopefully, she will turn all shy and nervous, but this one walks in a parallel line with what normal is and for sure will say 'yes I like you' making this situation even more awkward… good thing she doesn't understand much about relationships otherwise she would also cutely say, Yuki why don't you fu-, never mind…'

Troubled by this and seeing that Mashiro was still sad, Yuki wanted to lament loudly 'When did I give birth to a child and forgot about it…' but he ended up saying with a smile "Hey Mashiro do you want to be my friend?"

Mashiro raised her head and asked "friends?"

Yuki smiled at her and replied "Yes friends, and if one day we like each other to be something more than just friends, we can talk about it at that time okay?" 'If I don't end up screwed by my system and kiss this world goodbye...' Yuki left this part unsaid…

Mashiro's eyes suddenly brightened when she heard this and it alleviated her sadness so she nodded with a slight smile on her face as she said "Um, we are friends..."

Meanwhile, Chihiro couldn't help but think 'He's pretty good at handling Mashiro, I bet he's also good with kids…' and then her sick fantasies begin again as she started looking at him with a seductive smile on her face 'But he needs to be fixed first…'

Yuki suddenly felt a chill when he noticed the crazy look Chihiro was shooting him and he started wishing he didn't try helping her out when he saw that sad look on her face… Maybe he wouldn't end up with her right now looking at him like she was about to swallow him whole at any instant so immediately decided to stay away from this thirsty woman as far as possible less he wants to lose the last bits of vitality he still has that were keeping his body glued together...

Then he turned his face from the succubus and looked at the little angel with a smile and said "Great, let's exchange numbers, and maybe we will meet again soon since we are still in spring break and have plenty of time in our hands"

Seeing how he was ignoring the thirsty looks she was sending him made Chihiro desire him even more and decided to make him pay for it later so while he was exchanging numbers with Mashiro, she suddenly inserted herself in the conversation and kept insisting on keeping her dear cousin safe from the possibility of a ghost haunting her so he ended up reluctantly exchanging numbers with her too...

After this was over, he bid them both goodbye and started heading back home, but before that, he recalled how empty his room was, deprived of any necessities to the point that he ended up sleeping and covering myself with his own clothes yesterday, so he decided to go buy a few things he desperately needed for his room. But most importantly he can't afford to eat outside every day as it would cost way more than if he cooked for himself so he needed to buy some groceries too.

So, Yuki ended up visiting a supply store and buying a Futon to sleep on which is a traditional Japanese mattress, he also bought a pillow as well a simple blanket to cover himself with, and even though he only bought the cheapest things, these three alone cost him almost 4500 Yen, but he wasn't done as he also bought a nonstick frying pan that cost him 1500 yen and a simple wooden plaque for 200 Yen to hang beside his door…

If he adds to this what he used for the food today, he would be left with 3000 Yen from the 10000 he got yesterday from his first quest…r

Seeing how lighter his pockets felt, Yuki almost shed a tear... 'They say parting with something you love is always painful, but I never thought I would be so heartbroken by my lovely green papers leaving me...' Yuki was extremely sad at this but then tried to cheer himself up as he thought

'I'm already almost broke… but this purchase is necessary, definitely necessary' Yuki kept repeating in his head trying to convince himself, but whether it worked or not, only he knew the answer…

And it was indeed true. After all, for his body to recover from its weakened state, at the very least he needs to have some good quality sleep, and he can't afford to eat outside anymore so buying the frying pan is a must so that he could cook at home… and with it being none stick he could use it for many purposes…

So, with that in mind, he bought two dozen eggs, 1 kg of white rice, 1 kg of bananas, 1 kg of tomatoes, and one head of lettuce. Buying these cost him a total of 2000 Yen, leaving him with a 1000 Yen which he left aside in case of an emergency, but at least now he won't need to worry about food for a few days and can focus on finding a job and fixing his body before it's too late and ends up meeting one beautiful orb again…

By the time Yuki reached his house, he was breathing heavily as if he was going to die which creeped the living hell out of Ashiya when he passed by his room, especially when he used the wall and the window to support himself as he dragged his tired body to his room.

But this wasn't on purpose as he didn't have a quest that required him to plant his seeds in him again. Instead, he felt extremely exhausted from carrying the various things he bought even though they didn't weigh much in total but his weakened state simply made the simplest actions way harder than normal…

Once he settled down, he finally had the time to check the two completed quests in peace and accept his rewards especially since he overperformed in both of them so he couldn't wait to see what the additional rewards are going to be

"Is it going to be money? attributes? talents? please god, give him anything, anything that he can use, unlike that stupid skill he got..."

'This feeling is really addictive' Yuki thought as he clenched and unclenched his fists in wonder at how strong he felt and how light and relaxed his mind was.

However, he understood that this feeling was only temporary and it will soon disappear when he gets used to the new condition of his body so he tried his best to keep his ego in check less he becomes reckless in the future in this dangerous and unpredictable world...

But the changes he received weren't over yet because soon after, he felt something entering his chest, and he had a weird feeling as he felt his perspective of the world became different…

In some way, he found the world around him had more to it than what he saw before making him feel like he was seeing the world for the first time in his life…

"What an indescribable feeling… is this the effect of the drawing talent?" Yuki murmured as he looked at the different objects in the room before he walked to the window and looked out at the scenery outside of his window and he couldn't help but find himself stunned and amazed finding beauty in everything he sees…

However, he tried his best to drag himself out of that mindset before it swallows him and decided to check out the description of the drawing talent and when he clicked on it, a notification appeared under it that said.
