《Creating a world can't be that difficult, right?》Chapter 110

After finishing the meeting, each leader left so they could tell their troops what the plan was.
While most of the cultivators would enter the mountain through the tunnel they had created, some Esvert cultivators would stay on the surface to assist the cowboys if needed. They decided this because, as most Esvert cultivators were proficient in long-range combat, fighting in the tunnels could be troublesome.
Instead of accompanying the rest of the cultivators through the tunnels, they would prepare an ambush, so if the flying machines began to chaise the cowboys again, they would help take them down.
Besides the Esvert, one of the summoners would stay on the surface to participate in the ambush.
Because of this, the ones that would use the tunnel would be the Guburg, the Yuoko, the undead knights, and the remaining summoner. Zack's disciples would lead this little army across the tunnels, scouting ahead so they would remain unnoticed by the dwarfs for the longest time possible.
When everyone was ready, Zack neared Ethan.
"We are going. Give us fifteen minutes before we reach the mountain." Zack said.
"I know, I know. Just go already so we can end this mission. I want to return to my academy and continue my investigations as soon as possible," Ethan said while making signs with his hands for Zack to leave.
Seeing his companion's reaction, Zack nodded before leaving with a smile.
"Have luck out there," Zack said.
"You too," Ethan replied.
After that, the army entered the tunnel and began to advance toward the mountain. It took them a few minutes of walking in the dark until they arrived at the first room of the dwarfs' base. When they arrived, Zack talked to the men that kept guard there.
"Has anything happened while we were away?" Zack asked.

"Nothing, Master. We haven't seen any movements from the mountain's inhabitants since we came here." the man replied.
"Perfect. Come with us then. We are starting a ride right now." Zack said.
"Yes, Master!" the cultivators replied.
At the same time, on the surface, the Esvert had created a small rocky formation to hide behind it while the cowboys prepared to go towards the mountain.
"I hope this plan works." the summoner said while looking at the mountain.
"Why wouldn't it work? We only need to make time until the others retrieve our objective from the mountain. And as you said before, you only have to believe in the cards to succeed," Ethan said while laughing as he controlled earth-energy to continue changing his surroundings.
"Yes, I know. But for some reason, since we came to this world, everything has gone poorly. In our world, you only need a good deck and trust your companions to win a battle. With that, you will have access to powers that defy the laws of nature, monsters capable of shattering realities with a single movement of their hand. But here, it is as if something were restricting our power while at the same time the enemies use strange and troublesome techniques that can easily counter ours." The summoner explained with his gaze low before looking at Ethan." Do you feel the same or are we the only ones?"
"To tell you the truth, I feel almost exactly like I did at home. But don't get me wrong, I do feel that the energy around us is different from the one that we have in our world and that everyone has powers that, according to my knowledge, do not make sense at all, but even so, I'm still able to fight as I always did." Ethan replied.

After saying that, an awkward silence filled the air for the next few minutes before they began to hear noises from afar.
"It seems like they are coming. Everyone, be prepared for the fight." Ethan ordered his men.
After seeing everyone getting ready, the summoner touched the top deck card with one finger for a few seconds before drawing it.
" Mystic Lunar Owl, aid me on this hunt!" he said as he threw the card on the ground.
From the card, a two-meter-tall purple owl with a white half-moon on its chest appeared on the ground. Without losing a second, the summoner got on it to ride it.
At the same time, the sound of galloping horses mixed with the sound of machinery was getting closer and closer with each second.
"Come on, boys. Use those shooting irons before they get us!" The cowboy leader shouted to his men as he began to shoot with his revolver at the helicopters following them.

“One in a billion.” Jack kept repeating the mantra in his head. “One in a billion.” That was the number the Omni-Corps liked to cite whenever someone stepped onto one trans-mat pad and then simply… never stepped off the other. “Safer than a car,” he repeated as he slogged through the snow, his mining overalls doing at least a passable job of keeping out the cold as he brushed aside a tree branch. “Safer than a plane. Or a starship. Safest form of transport in the Star League.” He slammed his fist into a nearby tree, exo-empowered strength shattering it into little more than scattered bark and kindling. “Yeah, well I never heard of a car ride stranding some prick in another dimension!” He roared, his voice echoing through the seemingly endless forest around him. Then he kept marching. He’d seen the fire off in the distance. And given all the snow around, he sincerely doubted it was natural. Which left the unnatural. Which meant people. He hoped. Because even if the trans-mat had screwed up, he doubted it had dumped him too far off the central finite curve. The fact that the air was breathable and that he could recognize the trees around him as oak told him that much. And if the dimension he was in had trees native to Earth, chances are it would have animals too. Of which humans would hopefully be no exception. “Because I’ll be damned if I spend the rest of my days talking to goddamn squirrels.” No, if there were humans on this mudball, he was going to find them. One way or another.

TAG DISCLAIMER: The tags 'Portal Fantasy / isekai', 'High Fantasy', and 'Non-Human Lead' do not take place until later on in the novel. Probably mid-way through the first volume. The 'villainous lead' tag is a very loose tag. Some of the things the mc does can be considered villainous to those with a staunch moral code, however, I have not made the mc out to be overtly villainous. True Title: Advent of the Silent Storm (I came up with the original title a while ago, before I had even written a single chapter. It still kind of fits but this new title fits a lot better. I would change it but I don't know if it would screw up the recommendation algorithm.) Excerpt: My mind wanders through the soup of unconsciousness, still startlingly awake despite my physical form’s stasis. Electricity completely paralyzes the air around me and lightning flashes in a constant strobe of blinding light. The ground, thousands of feet below my being has been wiped clean of all manmade artifice and natural beauty; leveled, through absolute power. My power. Synopsis: Tetal Faelen, a very successful businessman with lofty goals, is introduced to an omniscient being through less than pleasant means. This being has an irresistible offer for Tetal with next to no downside. Tetal can’t help but wonder, “What’s the catch?” Additional Notes: Second novel I have started within the Web of Interconnected Realities. My other novel is not posted on this site so don't bother looking for it. I might post it here in the future.
