《Creating a world can't be that difficult, right?》Chapter 97

"Thank you for the recognition, but I alone would have been unable to achieve as many things as I have done. After all, the sect has helped me spread my influence and organize plans that I could only dream about years ago." Zack replied to Owald with a smile.
"It seems that the resources and members that you stole from my Ventar Academy have been of great help for the development of your organization," Ethan said with a cold smile on his face.
"I did not steal anything. If your people had given a better environment for martial artists in the past, I'm sure that I wouldn't have needed to create my sect. But sadly, your predecessor, Letine Greenfire, ignored my suggestions to reform the academy, so I could only join Edwin Cloakwolf in his plan to create a new environment for warriors to grow stronger." Zack replied while laughing.
"How dare you?" Ethan whispered while gritting his teeth.
Seeing the situation, Owald couldn't help but burst into laughter, which caused Ethan to look at him with disdain.
"What are you laughing at?" Ethan finally said when he finally ran out of patience.
"I'm laughing at you, obviously. The single thought that you think that you are at the same level as Sect Master Zack is so fucking funny that I can't contain my laughter." He replied while wiping tears from his eyes." Even I, King Owald, governor of the Guburg and owner of the north part of Orixe, would not dare disrespect someone as important as him."
"He is only an old man who had the good luck to discover the life-element in his youth. Anyone on the expedition in which he participated could have discovered it." Ethan replied seriously.
"My mother was right. The Esvert is so prepotent and looks down on others so much that they don't even realize when they are just talking nonsense without knowing shit." Owald said laughing before getting completely serious. "You are in front of a fucking child of destiny, someone that Heaven itself has chosen to achieve great things in the name of humanity. Just one of his feats is much more than all the achievements that you will get in your whole life."

After hearing those words, the Esvert and Guburg cultivators began to whisper between them, while Ethan's face went white.
"Oh, so you know about my condition?" Zack asked while laughing, without paying any attention to Ethan. "It is not something that I like to talk about a lot, so not a lot of people know about it."
"My mother was a wise woman, and before she died, she made sure to let me know about tons of things. This one was one of them. As far as I know, one of our spies managed to discover it some years ago. That's one of the reasons why she didn't mind the appearance and expansion of the Evil Cleaving Sect—because she knew that with you at its head, the actions of such an organization would always benefit humanity as a whole." Owald said with a kind smile.
"Your mother was a wise leader, and according to the stories that Edwin told me, she was also a great and brave warrior. If you reach even half of her greatness, I'm sure that the Guburg will have a bright future ahead." Zack replied with a smile on his face while nodding.
"Your words make me feel flattered. I hope that my village and your organization can maintain a good and cooperative relationship in the future." Owald said while doing a small reverence.
When Owald finished his sentence, everyone present suddenly heard a voice.
"The time has come, my children. The passage is about to open, and you must cross it to cleanse the evil from the lands behind it. But this time you won't be alone. With you, you will find another three armies that will fight alongside you with the same determination as to any inhabitant of this world. I hope you succeed in this mission and return safely here."

After hearing those words, the three groups began to look at the archway and found out that it started shining with great intensity, before a crack appeared in the air itself, which little by little widened until it covered all the inner surface of the archway, creating a tunnel.
"I guess it's about time for us to go." Owald said while looking at the entrance of the tunnel."It has been a nice talk. I hope we can continue when this is over."
"I hope so," Zack replied with a smile.
After that, they both guided their groups to enter the tunnel, leaving the Esvert behind.
'Stupid and barbaric, that's what they are. I will teach them what I'm able to achieve when I get serious.' Ethan thought to himself while gritting his teeth before crossing the tunnel.

Delve
Summary – Level 1: Delve is an isekai litrpg that follows an average guy who just happened to wake up in a forest one day. He wasn’t summoned to defeat the demon lord or to save the world or anything like that, at least as far as he can tell. The only creature there to greet him was a regular old squirrel. Soon enough, he meets other people, only to discover that he can’t speak the language, and that not everybody immediately trusts random pajama-wearing strangers they met in the middle of the wilderness. Things generally go downhill from there, at least until the blue boxes start appearing. Delve is a story about finding your way in a new, strange, and dangerous world. It’s about avoiding death, figuring out what the heck is going on, and trying to make some friends along the way. It’s not about getting home, so much as finding a new one. Did I mention that there will be math? Summary – Level 2: Okay, but what are you in for, really? Well, this story is supposed to be realistic, or at least, as realistic as a fantasy litrpg can be. The main character doesn’t instantly become an all-powerful god and murder-hobo his way across the universe. Delve is, at its heart, a progression fantasy, but that progression is meant to feel earned. The numbers in this story actually mean something. Everything is calculated, and if you find a rounding error, I expect you to tell me about it. That said, if math isn’t your cup of tea, there is plenty more that the story has to offer. Characters are meant to feel real, and progression isn’t only about personal power; it’s also about allies, connections, and above all, knowledge. Figuring out how the system works is a significant theme. ... What, you want more details? Okay, fine, but this is going to get a bit spoiler-y. Are you sure? Yes! Really sure? I mean, this summary is practically half as long as the first chap– Now! Okay, okay! The main character becomes a magic user, but he takes a route that is not very popular in adventurer culture, namely that of a support. There is a full magic system with various spells, skills, and abilities, but our MC decides that aura magic is the way to go, and that the only stat worth investing in is mana regeneration. Most people at the Adventurer’s Guild think that this makes him a bit of a dumbass, but he’s playing the long game. We’ll see how that works out for him, won’t we? Because of his build, the MC levels up fast, at least compared to normal people. There are no cheats, though, and he is limited in other ways. There are some clear and pretty obvious downsides to his build. That’s what makes it fun, no? Morals? Our MC has them. Again, we’ll see how that works out for him. Realism, remember? Would you be okay with killing someone and looting their body? I sure hope not. POV? The focus is on the main character, but there will be occasional varying perspectives from people around him, or involved in the events related to the main plot. It isn’t going to jump all over the place. Tech is standard medieval stasis. No smartphones, but the MC does have a technical background. Computers and their programming might be involved. There might even be a bit of uplifting down the road, who knows? Anyway, it isn’t the focus. He isn’t going to invent the gun in chapter 1 and change the face of warfare. Romance is not a major focus. Friendships are more the name of the game, though there will be some characters in romantic relationships. There is exploration, though not as much of the geographical nature as you might expect. It is more about exploration of the system and the culture. The pace is slow and detailed, sometimes verging on slice-of-life. The action is meant to be realistic and grounded in the numbers, and it is intended to have meaning beyond simply punching things until they stop moving. The general tone of the story is grey, and some parts can get quite dark. People die. Sometimes, people with names, but not anywhere near GoT level. There is plenty of light, too, though, to balance the darkness. The world is dangerous, but overcoming that danger is why we’re all here, isn’t it? Anyway, if you’ve made it this far through the summary, you clearly like words. I hope you enjoy the story! Cover by Miha Brumec Summary Updated: 2020-06-14
