《Creating a world can't be that difficult, right?》Chapter 95

One of the first things that worldbuilders realized after the worlds appeared was that the inhabitants of their worlds talked in the same language as them.
At first, people believed that it was one of the various functions of the worlds and that we could simply understand what they said or wrote because worlds were magical, but soon after, they discovered that that was not the case.
As soon as two people that talked in two different languages made their worlds interact, they realized that the creatures of their worlds didn't understand each other.
After a few tests, it was determined that the language used in a world was the same as the one that the creator considered its mother tongue.
Not only that, but they also used the same expressions and words that the creator used, creating worlds where some words were said or written completely wrong because the creator didn't know how to spell them.

After hearing George's words, both Axel and Jacob closed their eyes while trying to sense the rift.
As George has said, the rift was not open, so with little effort they could connect their worlds with it and begin the invasion whenever they wanted.
"How are we going to do this? You have yet to tell me how it is in your world." Axel asked Jacob.
" Oh, right. I'm rank 1, nearing rank 2, and my world is a mix between cowboys and steampunk. " Jacob said with a smile on his face.
"What the hell? What kind of combination is that?" Axel asked surprised.
"I don't know, man. I started creating a steampunk world, and suddenly it was filled with cowboys. I just went with the flow after that." He replied while bursting into a laugh.

"I guess that's something that could happen to anyone. And what are we going to do? How many troops are we going to send each?"
"This is a first-rank rift. Usually, four people sending each one a squad or two would be enough, but as we can't count with the customers, I suggest that each of us send a platoon." Jacob said.
"I see. And how many people is a platoon?" Axel asked smiling while he scratched his neck.
"A squad consists of seven to fourteen soldiers led by a sergeant, while a platoon consists of three or four squads commanded by a lieutenant," George said from the side.
" Exactly, basically between thirty and forty soldiers, more or less," said Jacob. "Start gathering your troops already, and in a few minutes, we will begin the clearing of the rift. "
Following Jacob's words, Axel closed his eyes and began to concentrate to see his world.
In a few seconds, an entire continent appeared before Axel's eyes.
"Heaven, we are about to take part in the clearing of a rift, so I need you to organize the troops. Create three or four groups of cultivators. There should be forty in total, more or less." Axel said.
"As you wish," Heaven replied.
"Oh, right. Let them know that this time is going to be different from the last fight. On this rift, there are going to be some allies that would help them against any possible enemy."
" I will tell them then."
"Nice, let me know as soon as the army is ready," Axel said as he broke his concentration.
Back in the park, Axel looked around to find Jacob, who was sitting under the tree.
" Everything ready?" Jacob asked when he saw Axel with his eyes open.

"Should be in a few minutes." He replied.
"Nice. Hey, guys. You should start preparing too. We will begin in no time." Jacob said as he began to look at the customers.
After hearing Jacob's words, the two customers closed their eyes at the same time, probably to prepare their own troops.
Seeing this, Axel decided to copy Jacob as he sat under the tree while waiting for Heaven to notify him.
He took out his phone for a few minutes while he waited, and in no time, he heard a voice inside his head.
"The troops are ready. We can start the fight at any time." Heaven's voice said.
"I'm ready. We can start clearing the rift whenever you want." Axel told Jacob.
"Cool. We will start as soon as the customers are ready then." Jacob replied.
When the customers were ready, the four of them began to concentrate on connecting their worlds with the rift so the clearing could begin.

Unstable and weakened, will he be more hindrance than help? Can he become the warrior he once was?A Monk and a Monkey journey across a world...... where the remnants of technology are seen as magic, while pockets of humanity strive to drag themselves out of ignorance.... where the descendants of animal-human hybrids, once created as instruments of war, now seek to dominate the world as demons.... where beings who call themselves Immortals and Gods preoccupy themselves with selfish pastimes, ignoring everything else. Among other things, a story about growth, grit, and being better than the person you were yesterday. Here's my rambling on why I'm writing Journey West 5000. Journey West 5000 is my crazy ambitious writing project to adapt a classic epic called "Journey to the West" for a global, modern audience. It's a sci-fi story disguised as fantasy, and has some road trip + monster of the week elements (as does the original Journey to the West). No system, definitely no harem, gradual power progression. Hmm, what else can I put here so potential readers know what to expect? My writing style for now is mostly "show don't tell", because I believe that readers don't need to have everything pointed out to them, and that they should be allowed to make up their own minds about characters based on the actions of those characters. I'm also trying to be less long-winded (a weakness pointed out by some friends) in order to write according to something Neil Gaiman said, which is to write as though I'm the one who has to pay for every word, not the reader. This will bring down my chapter word counts, and might drive away potential readers, but I believe there's value in learning to compress and be concise. All chapters posted here will have been edited. Constructive criticism, comments, and feedback would be very much welcome and appreciated. Please, please help point out any typos or grammatical mistakes, I'm striving to minimize those as much as possible. Above all, I hope you enjoy my story.
