《Creating a world can't be that difficult, right?》Chapter 90

After gaining some skill at using and generating life-energy, Zack stood up and went to talk with the scholars of the group so he could tell them about his discovery.
"What? Did you say what you said?" Merlo asked, his eyes wide open.
"Yes, I have found a new kind of energy," Zack said while smiling.
"Come on, don't waste my time. Show it to me so we can start studying it as soon as possible!" He said.
Seeing the reaction from his companion, Zack began to accumulate life-energy between his hands while he spoke about it.
"After eating one of those fruits, I realized that the energy inside them was not only fire-energy, and after some experimentation, I managed to separate the real deal from the rest. From what I have observed, it works like corruption if we refer to how it interacts with the other types of energy, but apart from that, it is completely different." Zack explained.
"I see... Wait, what? Are you implying that corruption is a type of energy? And why do you have that kind of information?" Merlo said suspiciously after hearing Zack's words.
"I've been the leader of an anticultist group for years. Knowing about their abilities and powers is a very important part of my job, so I would need to do some experiments to expand my knowledge." Zack tried to excuse himself.
Without realizing it, he began to talk about some of the topics that he had read about in the diary of the cult leader, so he decided to alter a little the origin of that information so it would be easier to explain.
"Well, I guess it makes sense. Tell me more then." Merlo exclaimed with glee."What were you telling me about corruption working on other energies?"

"Basically, from what I have seen in my years of experience, cultists tend to use corruption on their spells to make them more powerful and gain new characteristics. If corruption is a new element, that would make those spells work with various elements at the same time." Zack explained.
"I have read a few hypotheses about creating multi-elemental spells, but I have never heard of anyone capable of creating one that works. Are you sure that those cultists used them? It would be weird that some random cultist can perform such a feat while the greatest scholars of our academy are unable to do it." Merlo asked.
"That's because corruption is very compatible with any other element. Corruption would not disturb the functioning of the other energy and would only add properties to it, and this new energy seems to be the same." Zack said.
At that moment, Zack had already created a ball of energy the size of an apple, so Merlo could inspect it using his sea of consciousness.
"As far as I have been able to test, the main characteristic of this new kind of energy is its ability to make someone's body work better. It can either help you recover from your wounds or make you faster or stronger for a limited time. It is as if it was fueling each inch of your body so it would perform at its greatest potential while its effect is still working." Zack explained."The first thing that came to my mind while studying this was the possibilities that this kind of energy would bring to martial artists, but I'm sure that you will find uses for it in medicine and a lot of other fields."
"This... is incredible. And you said that you found this energy in the fruits, right? " Merlo asked as he began to look around before his face began to redden before he started shouting. "Everyone, stop eating fruits, you morons! If you are hungry, eat the food that we have brought with us! "

After he realized that the fruits were the key to studying the new energy, Merlo began to run across the oasis, scolding anyone that was eating them so he could preserve the largest amount possible.
Seeing Merlo's reaction, Zack couldn't help but laugh.
He decided to continue cultivating as he had already informed someone of his discoveries. He sat on the floor and absorbed the ball of energy that he had between his hands.
Each time that he used this new kind of energy to cultivate, he felt how a wave of warmth flowed across his body, clearing any impurity and healing all the wounds that it found on its path.
At that moment, Zack opened his eyes wide for a second before starting cultivating again, but this time, he redirected the energy towards a specific area of his body.
Little by little, he tried to send energy towards his right arm to see if there was any kind of effect.
For the first few minutes, there wasn't any kind of change, which made Zack lose some hope, but after some more time, he felt how a tiny part of his energy channels began to recover. It wasn't even one percent of the whole arm, but even so, it felt like a victory for Zack.
Seeing that the recovery of his arm was a possibility, Zack couldn't help but kneel on the ground and thank Heaven and thank it for guiding him to that place instead of letting him fall into corruption.
