《Creating a world can't be that difficult, right?》Chapter 89

For the next few seconds, Zack felt the revitalizing effect of the fruit work on his body.
In just a moment, the bruises around his body healed almost completely and his tiredness disappeared.
'What the hell?' Zack thought to himself.
Trying to understand what was happening, Zack adapted to a cultivation position and began to inspect his body and the energy within it.
Even though the fruit he had eaten had a lot of fire-energy on it, it didn't feel normal.
After the first inspection, Zack began to cultivate, trying to use only the fire-energy that was in the air.
Cycle after cycle, he did his best to accumulate the purest energy possible, and after a few minutes, he stopped.
As he examined his surroundings, Zack thought, 'This doesn't feel anything like the one on the fruits.'
The group members were all around the oasis, either investigating the plants, keeping guard so no beast would disturb them, or resting and eating fruit, as he was doing.
Zack decided to start his investigation. He stood up and approached some of his companions who were also eating fruit.
"Hey, man. What do you think about these fruits?" Zack asked.
"Oh, man. This is the best shit I have ever tasted. Not only are they very tasty, but they also make you recover in no time." His companion replied.
"Do you feel it too? That's all that I needed to know." Zack said with a smile.
After that, Zack sat alone under a palm tree and began to cultivate, but this time, he began to absorb all the energy around him.
He made sure that his dantian was full to bursting, and began to absorb that energy little by little.
With absolute care, he began absorbing the non-elemental energy, followed by those types of elemental energy that were minorities in that area.

In theory, his dantian should only contain fire and earth-energy at the time, so he gradually began to absorb earth energy, leaving only fire-energy on his dantian.
"Someone, call a fire-scholar. I may need his help. " He said as he maintained his cultivation position.
Hearing Zack's words, one of the warriors followed his instructions and brought a scholar near him.
"Did you call for me? I have a lot of new specimens to study, so I hope you are not wasting my time. " The scholar said as he looked at Zack.
"Fast, accumulate the purest fire-energy that you can in front of me," Zack ordered.
"What? Why would I do that? " The scholar asked.
"Just say as I say," Zack said seriously
Seeing that Zack was serious, the scholar decided to do as he said and created a ball of fire-energy in front of him.
Zack began to compare the energy inside his dantian with the energy on the scholar's hand and instantly felt the difference between them.
Little by little, Zack began to extract small amounts of fire energy from his dantian, always making sure that the energy that he was discarding was the most similar possible to the energy in front of him.
After five minutes, his dantian was almost empty with only a few strands of energy inside it.
But that energy was different. It was different from anything he had ever seen.
With extreme care, he absorbed that small amount of energy while inspecting its properties.
As soon as his dantian absorbed that energy, he felt vitality filling every single inch of his body.
It was as if his body had found the perfect fuel to work with, so now it could express more power than usual.
This feeling only lasted for a few seconds, but it was enough for Zack to confirm his theory.

Without a second thought, he got up and began to eat fruits from the trees around him.
After eating a few mouthfuls, he began to cultivate again while absorbing the energy from the food that he had eaten.
From that energy, he made his best to separate that new kind of energy that he had found.
For the next few hours, he continued doing this, trying to memorize the characteristics of the energy so he could try and generate it with his dantian in the future.
The hours passed, and even though Zack's shift to stay on guard came, seeing him so concentrated on his cultivation, his companions decided to let him be for this time.
At every moment he cultivated using that energy, he felt how he was getting better at identifying it, and at night, he managed to transform the other kinds of energy into the new one.
At that precise moment, life-energy was discovered inside Axel's world.

Outlook: The Stars (Consciousness Unbound Book 1)
The year is 2152. Rune Yahui is a nineteen-year-old failure, not having gained entrance to college or the military, with no significant prospects in life. Even worse, Rune is the poorest of the poor, hailing from the mega-slums of New Southern Chicago, the lowest pit of America. In a desperate last-ditch attempt to gain a future more lustrous than toiling the rest of his days away in abhorrent conditions in one of the near sweat-shop level factories that dot the megapolis, Rune signs up for the Virtual Citizen program, a program to cull the excessive world population by transferring just their brains into a video game. In a stroke of rare luck, Rune is admitted into the program and happily submits himself to the surgery and digitization process. Unfortunately for him, he wakes up several hundred years later than he expected... or does he? **Author's Note** This isn't a type of story typical to RRL. You may have noticed LitRPG in the tags, but it's a relatively minor element in the story until later. You may also notice Slice of Life is in the tags. This story is going to be slow and there won't be any power tripping until way later if at all. The focus will be on character development. That doesn't mean I won't still have action/excitement, however. I encourage you to give the story a try. Maybe it will be your thing, maybe it won't. Thanks for even taking the time to read this, and if you do give my fiction a try, I hope you enjoy it. If you don't, well, I hope you find something that you do enjoy. Happy reading!
