《Creating a world can't be that difficult, right?》Chapter 76

As soon as Zack entered the ship, he was guided through it to his room. Thanks to Jules, he was able to have a private room instead of sharing it with who knows how many people, so when he got there, he dropped his baggage on the ground, and without losing much time, he began to cultivate.
The journey would last for a few weeks, so for a cultivator such as himself, having so much time meant the possibility of trying to reach the next breakthrough and adjusting his techniques to use them with only a hand.
Not only did he do that, but he also spent some time trying to implement some of the theories that he had read in the diary of the cultist leader into some of his spells. Obviously, he wouldn't use those theories that used corruption as their basis, but instead, he used those that talked about how to modify a spell to make it work with another element, and what was more important, try to make a spell work with two different elemental energies.
Sadly, even if he managed to change the elements of some, he found himself unable to create a multi-elemental spell, so after some work, he decided to focus on something else instead of wasting his time.
As if it was nothing, three weeks and a half passed, and after that time, the coast of the new continent became visible from the ships.
From the deck, Zack observed a landscape that, even though he had heard about it hundreds of times, he had never seen before. It amazed him. Two enormous mountains with a river cutting between them. In the valley between both mountains, an enormous stone city stood elegantly, with some buildings that even began to climb the mountains themselves and managed to reach half of their height.

That city was Losa, and it was the first permanent settlement that humanity managed to create on the new continent and the main entrance of people and resources to it.
Thanks to its geographical position, the city had a great defensive position from which it could easily defend itself from anything that came from the outside. The mountains that were referred to as "First Peak" being the one on the left and "Second Peak" being the one on the right, and even though before building the city they were infested with magical beasts, both the Esvert and the Yuoko made their best effort to clear them from any kind of danger, so right now it was completely safe to travel through them.
As soon as Zack got out of the ship, the first thing that he felt was that there were many more people in that city compared to Xeles. That was logical, because the two tribes did their best to evacuate the old continent while trying to escape the corruption, so over time most of the people moved to the new continent, leaving only those imperceptible to the functioning of Xeles, as well as those who were still waiting for their turn to travel to the new continent, behind.
Obviously, Zack's case was the first one, as he had received the offer to come to the new continent years ago, but he refused as he was participating in the extermination of cultist groups.
After thinking about that, a small sad smile appeared on his face as he began to remember everything that he had left behind. Even though he tried his best to focus on other things for a while and began to ask the people around him where he could find the Ventar Academy, he wanted to deliver the recommendation letter that he had received from Jules.

In less than thirty minutes, he managed to find his way to the door of the Ventar Academy, which was situated at the foot of the First Peak.
Just by looking at it from the outside, it was clear that the Ventar Academy was very important to the city, as it was the biggest building that he had seen in his whole life.
The academy itself was a stone castle with six different towers: five of them formed a pentagram, while the other one, which was higher, stood in the middle of the rest.
What caught Zack's attention the most was that each of the ceilings of the towers had a different color, and after a few seconds, he connected the dots. The Ventar Academy was known for its studies about elemental energies, and each tower's color matched the color of a kind of elemental energy, so each tower might have been used for the study of a particular type of elemental energy.
"Impressive, right? Most people are surprised the first time they see it, "said a voice from behind Zack. "This is one of the most important buildings in town, so it is only logical for it to be so big."
As Zack turned himself, he found out that the person talking was an elderly man with a spear on his back. The man had white hair and black eyes, and even though he had an amicable and cheerful expression, the scars that filled his arms and neck showed that he was an experienced warrior, and even if he looked old, he still showed a lot of vitality in all his movements.
"Yes, it truly is," Zack said embarrassed while scratching his neck.
"I guess that you are new here. Do you want to apply to join or are you here for something else?" the man asked with a smile on his face.
"Well, you could say that both. I had a recommendation letter from my old boss, who is the leader of the old continent's branch of the Ventar Academy, so I hoped to get some help to find my place in the new continent. " Zack explained.
"Oh, so you know Jules. That would make things much easier. I'm Edwin Cloakwolf. Nice to meet you. " "Said the man as he extended his right hand towards Zack.
