《Creating a world can't be that difficult, right?》Chapter 75

The next day, Zack made sure to prepare everything that he would need for his journey to the new continent.
It has been a few years since his father passed away and his mother traveled to the new continent. Because he had always refused to go there as he had things to do in the old landmass, it had been a while since the last time that he talked with his mother or even knew anything about her, so he asked Jules to get some information about his remaining family so he could be able to visit her.
After that, he prepared his baggage, and for almost all the remaining time until he had to take the ship, he dedicated himself fully to cultivating all he could.
Even though he had lost the ability to use his right arm, he still cultivated. This was because he wanted to recover some of his fighting power before his journey. Even if he couldn't use his arm as he did before, he would do his best to fight with other techniques.
During these days, for some reason that he couldn't understand, he felt how cultivating had become much easier than before. Each time he absorbed energy, he felt it much more pure and dense than before, and when utilizing it, he felt that he had much better control over it, which meant that he could use it much more efficiently.
Thanks to this, his cultivation began to advance at a really fast pace, and even though he hadn't managed to get any breakthroughs, he felt that in those few days he had made the same progress that he would have made by cultivating for a few weeks before.
At first, Zack thought that everything was hallucinations of him, but after realizing how much he had managed to advance, he couldn't deny what he was feeling in any way.

The first and only explanation that he could find for this situation was that somehow the message that he had received from Heaven had made him more proficient at cultivation, or that he was receiving some kind of external aid from Heaven.
Sadly, he didn't have any way to confirm his theory, and even if he had, he would probably be unable to do anything about it, so he decided to not think much about it, and see it as the way Heaven had to aid him in following the message that he had received.
With that, Zack continued cultivating until the day before his departure. On that day, his group organized a little farewell party for him. Every member of his group attended that party, and they ate and drank for hours as they remembered old stories until it was late.
When they were about to say goodbye, one of Zack's men handed him a wooden box. When he opened it, he found a saber with the word "friendship" inscribed on its blade.
"As you will not be able to use Justice with your arm in that state, we thought that you would need a new weapon. That's Friendship. It is made of pure mana-steel mined from the third underground layer. We have spent a great part of our savings on it, but our boss doesn't deserve anything worse than that." one of his men explained.
Without a second thought, Zack grabbed the sword with his left hand and instantly felt its structure. Mana-steel was a material that was pretty popular for creating martial-arts-oriented weapons. Although it didn't have a specific elemental affinity, it allowed the user to use any kind of elemental energy more efficiently than with regular weapons, without forgetting that the material itself was extremely hard and durable. For someone that wasn't specialized in a single kind of energy, this was the best kind of weapon that he could get.

"Thank you, guys. I will take care of it as if it were a treasure. " Zack said sincerely, with a smile on his face.
After that, each of them went to their respective rooms.
The next day, the farewell finally arrived.
Each of Zack's men, plus Jules, accompanied him to the port, where he would take a ship towards the new continent. When Zack reached the port, the first thing he saw was the multiple ships that were docked in it.
Even if he had been living on Xeles for almost his whole life, each time he saw the ships that were used to travel to the new continent, he felt amazed.
If Axel were to see these ships, he would realize that they looked pretty much like caravels, with the main difference being that instead of floating on the water, they had what looked like three giant blades on the bottom of their bodies that went from the stern to the bow of the ship. These blades were made of air-energy conducting materials that made the ship float slightly above the sea, so it didn't touch it at any moment.
Even if at first this looked nonsensical, the purpose of this design was to be able to cross the ocean without having to worry about most of the magical beasts that lived on it, as they wouldn't even notice the ship as it didn't touch the water.
Obviously, creating each of these ships cost a great number of resources, so the tribes couldn't use them mindlessly and always deployed them in groups so they could help each other in the event of something happening.
"Well guys, it has been a pleasure working with all of you for all these years. I hope that we can meet again in the future." Zack said before turning his back so he could enter the ship, but just before doing so, he turned back again and looked at his companions one more time. " Andrew, as the second in charge, I permit you to use Justice while I'm away. I have left it in my room. Use it as much as you want."
After saying that, Zack turned to enter the ship, and his journey toward the new continent began.

This Used to be About Dungeons is a comfy slice-of-life adventuring story that occasionally features dungeons. Updates Tuesdays, Thursdays, and Saturdays. Mostly it's about walking in the woods with a friend, looking for mushrooms to put in your soup, or haggling with the guy selling squash, or taking care of a neglected garden. It's putting some jam on shortbread biscuits. And yes, sometimes you go down into the dungeons with your friends, and you kill monsters there, or disarm traps, but when you come out, you realize you've found the perfect magic item to give to one of the local kids that helped you out when your cat was sick. Look, the dungeons are always going to be there, and sometimes you need to make a journey to one of the Spirit Gates, or make a pilgrimage with the local Cleric of Symmetry to a holy shrine. Your tour through the local dungeons can wait. You'll have rivalries with other groups, and find some dungeon eggs that need to be carefully incubated in case they turn out to be something valuable, and help a friend to build a fishing weir.
