《Creating a world can't be that difficult, right?》Chapter 74

"What? Now you want to go to the new continent? What had caused that sudden change in opinions?" Jules asked as a puzzled expression appeared on his face.
"Well, after what you said yesterday, I've been thinking about it the whole day, and maybe you were right, maybe I need to travel to a new place to discover my new path," Zack said with a smile on his face.
Even though he could tell Jules about the message from Heaven, that may raise some questions about the situation in which he received it, which could lead to him being discovered reading and thinking about using cultist rituals to recover his arm, so he decided to simply give the credit for his change of mind to Jules' words.
"Oh, really? I know that I can be very convincing sometimes, but I had never thought that I would be able to change the mind of someone that was so decided as you. " Jules replied, half surprised, half smiling.
"But you did it. Those words truly made a deep impression on me and changed my mind. " Zack said, trying to flatter Jules a bit.
"Well, you know, after all these years teaching and guiding people, I have developed some kind of six-sense that allows me to advise people in the best way possible." Jules replied while scratching his neck before changing topics." And have you already told your group that you are going to leave?"
"I have yet to do it. I wanted to make everything official before telling them anything. " Zack replied with a sad smile.
"That's good. And have you already decided when you want to leave? I can arrange a seat on a ship whenever you want. I would also write a recommendation letter for you so you don't have any trouble joining any kind of organization or group. Obviously, if you were to search for the help of the Ventar Academy, you will be treated as one of them thanks to my position in this branch. "

"I have yet to decide when to leave, but it would probably be in a few days, a week at most. And yes, I would appreciate it greatly if you were to recommend me like that. " Zack replied smiling.
After hearing that, Jules began to search through all the paperwork that was on his desk, and after a few seconds, he managed to find the paper scroll that he was searching for.
"There would be a fleet leaving the port in five days. If that's time enough for you, you are in." Jules said as he inspected the paper scroll before looking at Zack.
"That would be great. Thanks for everything. " Zack replied as he did a little reverence.
After that, Zack went to the canteen of the castle, where he knew he would find his men.
"Hey, boss. How is your arm? " One of his men said as soon as he was seen.
"Yeah, how is it? Is it still hurting? "asked another.
"How the hell is not going to hurt, dumbass? He just got the injury yesterday." another one replied to the previous one.
"I could be worse," Zack said, smiling before a serious expression appeared on his face. "Guys, I have something important to tell you, so I need you to pay attention."
As Zack said that, the whole group fell into silence instantly, as they realized that Zack was not joking and that what he said would probably affect their future.
"In five days, I will leave the landmass and go to the new continent. That means that I will have to leave this group for some time. I don't know how much time it would be, it may even be permanent, but I have to go. " After those words, Zack remained silent for a few seconds in front of the expectant gaze of his companions. "You all know that I would not leave this group if I didn't have something important to attend to, so I hope you all support my decision when the time arrives."

For a few seconds, no one dared to say a single word, before one of his companions suddenly talked.
"Don't you worry, boss. We know that you will never leave us without a reason. " Said one of them.
"Yeah, just make sure that you stay safe so we can see your face in the future," said another.
"That's right, I want to kill cultists with you as our leader one more time before dying, so I hope that you return, even if it is in twenty years." said another.
"And if you find some pretty girl on that continent, ask her if she has any friends for us," said another one while bursting into laughter.
"And if you..." another continued talking.
After that, the conversation continued for a few hours, in which the sadness disappeared while it was replaced by goofy comments and funny stories about their past.
When night arrived, each of them left the canteen to return to their respective rooms.
It had been a good day with the boys, but now Zack had to prepare for the journey that he was about to begin in just a few days.

The Twelve
In a world marred by the supernatural, Japan suffers from its own fair share of evil and demonic disasters, with generations of shamans known as Onmyoji protecting their homeland from these forces of evil. Capable of wielding magic and using spirits of their own, these shamans were not only skilled in battle, but also divination. However, they were unable to correctly predict Japan's loss in World War Two, and suffered the punishments that followed. Persecuted and torn apart by infighting, the Onmyoji reunited under the banner of the Tsuchimikado clan, descendants of Abe no Seimei, one of the greatest Onmyoji to ever live. The Onmyoji began to rebuild and to regrow. Ren is the sole heir to the Tsuchimikado family, but has been unable to practice Onmyodo ever since his birth, even though he possesses the greatest ability in the family. But when disaster befalls his family, Ren has nobody to turn to, and no idea how to use his powers. As he journeys to escape the same fate his family faced and attempts to learn how to use his powers, there is only one question on his mind; as the Tsuchimikado heir, how can he save the Onmyoji... from themselves? ---------------------------------------------- note from author: I'm writing this based loosely on the very real theories of Onmyodo, and so my writing may not be a truthful or accurate depiction of Onmyodo or other related areas, such as religion, for instance. That is why, while depicted in the real world, events that happen may seem unrealistic and it may be easier to imagine it as a parallel universe that is the same as ours, but with slight differences so that my possible errors will be easier to overlook. Sorry, and thanks!
