《Creating a world can't be that difficult, right?》Chapter 70

In a few seconds, all the members of Zack's group met in front of the metallic door that they had found on the floor of the cells.
Because of the trap that they found on that floor, they suspected that as soon as they crossed the next door, they would find themselves in danger, so they wanted to prepare before entering it.
"As soon as we enter, they would undoubtedly try to shoot at us with everything they had, "Zack explained, as he began to sketch his plan on the paper scroll." From the excavation team, you will create a tunnel that we can use to attack them from behind. The rest of you will wait until their tunnel is almost ready, so they can enter just a few moments after we start our attack, so the enemies are paying attention to us. "
"As you order, boss," said four men at the same time.
Every single one of those men had some kind of weapon in their hands. Without losing even a second, they began to inspect the walls of that room, before stopping just in front of one of them and starting to carefully hit the wall with their weapons.
Before each of those hits, their weapons shone with brown light, which caused each time the wall received a hit to lose a big chunk of its structure.
In a few seconds, the stone wall was gone, and instead, a large amount of dirt was left. As soon as they saw this, they touched the dirt with their hands, and with a brown light that came out of them, they began to shape the dirt in such a way that it compressed itself to become a tunnel.
Little by little, and following the stone wall from the outside, the four men continued excavating for a few minutes until they managed to cross more than ten meters, a moment in which they told the rest that they were ready.

"Is everyone ready?" Zack asked while waiting for his group's response."Go!"
At that moment, two of his men tackled the door to break it. As soon as they did that, tens of projectiles appeared in front of them, but they quickly released both water and air energy in front of them, so a shield of water suddenly appeared in front of them, while the air energy made the shield go forward.
The projectiles crashed into the shield, but they lost all their kinetic energy or were consumed by the water shield as soon as they tried to cross it.
The shield only lasted for a few seconds, but that time was enough for most of the team to enter the room before their enemies could attack again.
In no time, all of them entered the room, and while a few created a few stone walls to take cover behind while using earth energy on the floor to change its shape, the rest began to shoot projectiles at every cultist that they could see.
The room where they were fighting was some kind of storage room, but in contrast with the one that they found at the top of the tower, this one was filled with items to use in their rituals, such as glass vials filled with blood, items that radiated corruption, and cut body parts from different creatures, including humans.
In this room, the cultists tried to take cover with the shelves, which worked at first, but suddenly, a thundering noise came from behind them, and before they could even look at it, they saw how five people suddenly appeared, crossing one of the walls that they had at their backs.
While the other four people began to shoot at the cultist while taking cover from a few shelves, Zack used his privileged position to dash toward the nearest cultist and cut him in half with his long sword before he could react.

He tried to do the same with the next one, but as soon as he looked at him, he felt how that man was different from the others.
His skin and hair were white, while his eyes were completely black. He had very long nails, and as soon as he saw Zack, a great aura of corruption began to escape his body.
"That must be the cult leader. I need to kill him as soon as possible. " Zack thought while grasping his sword more firmly.
Suddenly, Zack's body became covered with lightning, and he began to move at a much faster speed than before.
With a single step, he crossed the distance that separated him from the cult leader and stabbed him directly in the chest.
Zack attempted to move toward his next prey, but before he could, he felt a great deal of energy condensed at his back, and when he looked at the cult leader's body again, he realized it had vanished.
Feeling the danger approaching, Zack jumped aside just in time to prevent a ray made of pure corruption from passing through his heart, but instead, it hit him on his right arm.
In that single moment, he felt strange energy begin to enter his body through his arm.
It wasn't the first time that he got wounded by an attack that used corruption as its energy, but this time felt completely different from the others.
In no time, his arm began to take on a purple color, and thousands of stabbing pains began to appear on his arm until the point that he thought about cutting it.
But before losing all hope, he took all the energy that he still had on his dantian and converted it into lightning energy before directing it toward his wounded arm.
Lightning bolts began to burn the flesh of Zack's right arm, while at the same time, it destroyed most of the corruption that it contained.
When he finally managed to contain the remaining corruption on his arm by using his energy, he looked at his surroundings and found out that his men had managed to win the fight and even kill the sect leader.

Scorched - The Winter Winds (LitRPG)
Frank Ebner once wanted to save the world. Let the second one be better than the first. On Earth he was a student of... well it hardly matters anymore. It was dying, and he and the rest of his fellows and friends studying how to stave off the end graduated just in time to be told it was too late. That there was not enough time, funds, will, to stop it anymore. That the governments and the worthies of the world had moved from trying to stop it, to surviving the oncoming apocalypse, while blaming each other. That was a world Frank wanted nothing to do with. One riven by wars for places in the Archologies going up, and between them and the dying world they were leaving behind. So when a strange voice offered him a way out, to a world unmarred by the poison killing his? Frank took it. The voyage changed him, made him fit his new world, one of stats and magic. It came with perks, for in passing through their Heavens, they'd been exposed to Divinity, and taken some of the Celestial within them. Heroes now, but there are heroes, and there are Heroes. The nobility of the Empire care only for those who carry blessed bloodlines, and their time to adapt and train up for the new world is limited. Patrons are scarce among those like Frank, with only the base Hero perks, and magic studies expensive and lengthy. Often requiring heavy Oaths to gain the necessary aid to wield mana as a mage. Frank found another way. It nearly cost him his life. Now on the run and burned by the very magic he sought and craved, he is a pilgrim traveling to the The Eternal Tree, font of Perseverance. Frank hopes Ir-karlak will grant him some way to recover from the fires that scorched him. Without snuffing out the embers those fires lit within, for he has learned to harness them and he would not give up magic for the world. *** In the last 21 days, as I update this, I've managed about 18-19 updates. So Scorched should update most days, muse willing. She's fickle, sometimes. Not every day, but most. If there's an update for the day, it will be at 7PM, GMT+2. *[participant in the Royal Road Writathon challenge] Actually completed it. :) *

Vemödalen: From The Other Side

They know their path to be the righteous one. One to roam the land, hunting for all apparitions, and be scorned by man and beast alike. They know their path to be an arduous one. One to wander the realm in search of power, to protect themselves and what they believe in. They know their path to be the only one. Writers note: The first chapter will set the standard in terms of mood for the remainder of the story. It also comes to no surprise to me that half the people who read the first part stop reading any further. It has quite a bit of the good ‘ol ‘ultra-violence’ mixed with a great deal of realism. As much as I could fit into it from my own knowledge and experience in the elite forces. The first few chapters will be slow, after, but starting from ‘Restless Destroyer’ the remainder of the world will start to open up, and when we hit ‘Adronitis’ the prologue is largely finished. The novel is well thought out and filled with hidden lore, culture, history. So even if my word choice appears random – it’s not. There is a reason why these chapters take as long as they do. Vermodalen is fantasy adventure, with magic and heroics in an as realistic setting as I could fit. Things are rarely what they seem, and the ugly nature of people bleed through the letters at the turn of every page. I hope you can give this story a fair chance, even if it isn’t immediately to your taste. Lastly, english isn't my first language. It isn't my second one either. So, if you find errors in grammer and spelling, wordplay and sentance building, do let me know, and you will be rewarded by a surge of dopamine that will be released inside your brain for helping someone whom you haven't even seen or heard.

★Rise of the Gun Hero★
[F.Reader x TROTSH]I do not own the anime/manga/story of "The Rise of the Shield Hero". This is simply just a fanmade story of it!I would like to say, the gun concept isn't an original! And is based off of other stories I've read. I also don't have the best grammar. So if you see any mistakes, feel free to message me about it. I may in the future change the whole concept later on.6/7/2020 - #1 TROTSH8/21/2020 - #1 TheRisingOfTheShieldHero
