《Creating a world can't be that difficult, right?》Chapter 61

As the fight between the worlds occurred, Axel observed each of the events that happened inside Emma's world.
Even though he was surprised by her world and couldn't help but wonder how the hell a kid could have created something like that, he was confident that he had options for victory at first.
His confidence only grew as he saw how his troops easily slaughtered anything that crossed their path. For a few minutes, he began to dream about how he would be able to participate in any rift that he wanted thanks to Mark's promise. But, sadly, they remained as they were, just dreams.
As soon as the three pentagrams were destroyed and the mist began to disappear, he felt that something was wrong, a feeling that was confirmed when he saw the abomination that stood floating above Emma's world. As soon as he saw it, he remembered his friend's words: beware of the eyes.
"Why the hell didn't I tell my cultivators anything about that even though I had information? I'm stupid? " Axel thought to himself as he saw how his cultivators began to fall.
Soon after, his remaining cultivators returned to his world, and with them, Emma's counterattack. He ordered Heaven to try to take down with lightning bolts the monsters that Emma had sent, but they weren't able to take down all of them, resulting in his defeat in the battle and the loss of all the energy that he managed to accumulate from the creation of the energy add-on. Even though it wasn't much, it still hurt.
But things didn't end there.
"Master, there is some kind of energy corrupting the creatures around the area where we killed the intruders. As far as I can understand, it can become a great danger to humanity, with the possibility of even reaching extinction. " Heaven mentally explained it to Axel.

"Send a message to every inhabitant in the world. Let them know about the existence of the new continent and tell them to move there so they can escape the corruption. With a little bit of luck, we may be able to save most of them." Axel replied.
After that, Axel stayed to watch his world for a while. He wanted to make sure that everything went well, but just after Heaven warned the cultivators, and when he was about to leave, he saw how Raziel crossed the tunnel that connected both worlds.
"Oh, shit. Don't tell me that she has become insane like her father. Heaven, prepare a few lightning bolts. We may need to carbonize her before she does anything dangerous. " Axel quickly ordered Heaven.
"As you order, Master. But I don't feel the same kind of corruption inside her as the one from those monsters. It seems like she had partially processed her father's corruption and managed to seal it using her tattoos, with which she managed to greatly reduce the possible damage. Even though it doesn't look like a perfect version, it may lead to the development of a much more effective way to use that corruption and resist it safely. But if you still wish that I kill her, I have already generated the clouds to do so." Heaven said
"What? Really? Then let her be. By the way, what the hell are those tattoos, and why are they so amazing? I saw that some people in the Guburg Village had tattoos, but I had never seen them use them to gain powerups. "
"It seems like the Guburg cultivators have been using the blood of various beasts to cultivate since they discovered cultivation. At first, it was because of how rich it was in energy, but little by little, they began to acquire some of the characteristics of those beasts over their bodies. Over time, they discovered a new way to achieve similar results in a much more efficient manner, which eventually became tattoos." Heaven explained.

"Oh, so it is something like bloodlines?" Axel asked.
"Not right now, but it may lead to them in the future. For now, it only makes them capable of coping with the skills or characteristics of the beasts from which their tattoos come. "
"I see. It is pretty interesting, so maybe we should work to help them improve it in some way or another. " Axel said before staying quiet for a few seconds." Well, I'm leaving already. If anything important happens, pause the world and let me know immediately. "
"As you wish, Master," Heaven replied.
After that, Axel broke his concentration and returned to the comic store.
Meanwhile, at the core of his world, something was changing. To be more precise, there were two changes.
One of them was that the cultivation add-on, which was already partially split in two, began to separate its parts even more while new lines appeared in both of them. As more time passed, it became more clear that in the future, the rune would become two different ones.
The other change in Axel's core was much more insignificant, but much more important at the same time. While a new line appeared in the middle of the energy add-on, which connected perfectly with the other ones, becoming one of the centerpieces of the rune, another line, this time black, appeared on one of the corners of the rune, connecting only with the body of it with a single line.

NOVA INTERIT.US
It's 2063, and the town along with much of the nation are in disarray. The decay started years before the Great Event. Our town still had hope thanks to the five families, who'd created a blockchain based water distribution system for the locals, a valuable secret hidden from the Global Water Commission and their network of mercenaries. Earlier in the mid-2040's, right after the state secessions of Idaho, Montana, and Texas, the Global Council of Water Commissioners made their deals and moved into towns throughout the country. They called it "the integration." The Commission and their contractors integrated with municipal water departments, using their organized network to invade like parasites on local services. It all coincided with the 29th Amendment to the United States Constitution, later referred to as the Regional Trident Plan. Nova is a story about survival, power structures, the turning of relationships, and the networking between people and the systems to which they belong. It’s about A.I. blockchain possibility, and its potential for human betterment versus our detriment. It’s about the question of whether or not we need to be saved from ourselves, and by who or what? The Great Event at the end of the first chapter might just be what actually saves us. The epilogue will take place in 2517. This scene is fully sketched and the full arc of the novel is set. I expect to finish Nova Interitus by summer of 2023. This is realist hard-sci-fi dystopian fiction. I hope you find Nova to be a challenging and consuming story. This is not something I planned to write. It all came to me in a dream and I haven't been able to stop writing it. This Royal Road posting is basically a beta test with chapters and drafts to get some feedback and see if there's any readership for this narrative. For the full experience read Nova on Substack. I will be narrating a podcast version later this year there. https://novainteritus.substack.com/

Grey Worlds
A mysterious incident occurred on a otherwise normal science centered world where all of the children from the age range of eight to sixteen suddenly vanished. “Where have their kids gone and will they ever return?” The now childless parents never got to really ask that question, because a strange new element replaced their lost children. This element slowly mutated the various animals that they once ruled over with their technology to the point that they were immune to their modern weaponry. The barren land of savages on a continent far away from theirs also had their children taken, but they easily mutated just like the beasts and only grew stronger thanks to the incident. A revolution of animals eventually took place after the mutations started to cause the animals to understand just how badly the humans ruined their lives and planet. Humans were the slowest to figure out how to use this strange new element to evolve, while their opponents were evolving and growing stronger by the day they couldn’t even surpass their modern technology. When humanity was on the brink of extinction a long forgotten event finally ended and their children finally started to return from the various worlds they were summoned to! It turns out that the mysterious new element that they didn’t know what to call was mana and that it’s everywhere in some fantasy planets. The children brought back a increase in technology and techniques to grow stronger with, which caused the humans to finally be able to build safe havens for their race. They grew stronger and started to finally adapt to their brand new environment. This is the story of a orphan who was taken away from his world, before he could gain a sense of attachment to the world. Who only has his older sister to care about and how he ends up adapting to the new world in front of him.------------------Dog notes by doggo First 'five' chapters aren't what the story is really about and is more of a prologue. The reason why some are separated into parts is because Doggo originally posted them as a entire chapter. The main setting is Ghost's actual world and not any foreign world. So this story was already posted once to another site or this site three years ago… and Dog is finally ending that three year hiatus! The explanation on why Dog was on a three year hiatus would of been written in the review section, but rrl doesn't allow self reviews. I'd have to create a alt just to self review which they obviously don't want even tho I'd not give myself any stars so its going to be here instead. The update schedule is a chapter a week till Dog get a editor and then two chapters a week till Dog gets enough money to pay for Dog’s bills. The final goal is to release a chapter every other day. Dog writes 4k word chapters so they are about twice as long as some of the other authors so every other day is actually more like once a day. ------------------- The part that was supposed to be the 'review' which Dog wont bother editing out repeat infomation since it wasn't supposed to go here in the first place. The first thing Dog will go over is what changed for the first 5 chapters, so that anyone who still remembers Dog's little novel and wants to continue from where Dog originally left off can decide whether or not to reread it. Also Dog is moving over to qidan simply because dog like the app they have. Dog won't go premium even if Qidan tells dog to and will simply move back to royalroad or create a blog. The things that changed over the years are mainly two important things. The first is that Dog changed the first person point of view to a third person, because Dog read a really bad first person novel and it reminded dog of dogs own novel. Dog also changed the thoughts of the character to be - - instead of italics. Finally dog changed chapter 3 completely to make the mc not seem like a homicidal maniac and introduced a important character in chapter 3.What happened to do in the three years that dog was away? Was dog at college and now needs money to eat? Was dog off in space after successfully becoming a astronaut and has now returned home with a completed novel or two? The answer is actually quite plain dog graduated from highschool and was supposed to only spend a year at dogs owners house to choose what major dog wanted to go to college for.Dog didn't do that and is still stuck with dogs owners and is sick of being a neet. Dog wants to move and buy doggy food, but dog is antisocial and doesn't want to work a simple 9 to 5 job for the rest of dogs life. Dog is a reader before dog is a author and the reason why dog got into writing was because dog wanted to write a novel without all the things dog finds annoying. Dog spent the first year reading various novels and dropping various novels. Dog is all caught up and has to much free time on dogs paws. The first year that Dog took off was the very same year that qidan came out so dog was naturally overloaded with free chapters. But now that pemium exists dog naturally has to limit the amount dog can read. Dog is addicted to reading like my very own readers and can understand your frustrations for dog disappearing for 3 years.Dog decided that dog will go back to writing 2 years ago. Dog wanted a decent stockpile incase dog has any other emergency so dog didn't post for a year but then dog decided to change the point of view which took another year.Dog has a patreon page https://www.patreon.com/mclaindog but there isn't any tiers there or goals till dog gets a editor. My final goal is to release a chapter every other day, but as long as Dog gets a editor Dog will do two free chapters a week.Dog will probably also make a kofi for anyone who just wants to send dog a tip and can't afford to donate money monthly while maybe having bonus chapters if the tip jar gets filled.

Unfettered Spear
[Ratata~] Being showered with bullets from all directions, I certainly don't feel so good. Especially, feeling the bullets passing through my body, which is simply torture. After God knows how long, the gunfire finally stopped. I had my head down, contemplating that this was the end. However, it was at this time that I heard someone jumping off the car in front. I looked up and saw that it was the "Boss." "I should've done this much sooner, you really done a number on my men despite being alone!" "I must admit that you are good, but too good that you're a threat to MY throne!!" "I–" Alas, the Boss' monologue was cut halfway through. When he held his head high, an action to signify his pride, a bullet pierced through his under chin into his brain and out the back of his head. He looked at me in disbelief, like the others around. None of them anticipated that I could still fire my pistol, much less accurately aiming at one's head at the hip level, after being turned into a bloody meat-sieve. "You... Monster!!!" To the Boss' dying words, I only replied with a smile as my strength left my body.
