《Creating a world can't be that difficult, right?》Chapter 56

While Denise and Cyrus were killing the tentacle crawler, Edwin and Raziel had also crossed their vegetation bridge and were ascending through another skyscraper while killing any monster that they found in their way.
"These things are annoying as hell," the Yuoko's spearman complained as he impaled two monsters at the same time with his weapon.
"They sure are. And for some reason, there are a ton of them in this building. " Raziel replied as she broke the neck of another one with a kick before the monster was sent flying into another two."I would prefer it if they were stronger. At the very least, I'd be able to hit them with more than a kick before they died. "
What Raziel said was true. For some unknown reason, the number of crawlers that they were encountering was much higher than what they found in the mall. Even though this happened, there wasn't a lot of danger as even though they were more in number, individually they were weaker, so they just needed one or two hits to kill each other.
Because of this, their rise was slow as they needed to spend a lot of time in each room clearing out all the enemies that were appearing. Luckily, after traversing a few rooms, they found some stairs, so they began to ascend directly to the roof without much complications, other than a few more crawlers that they found on their way.
When they were about to reach the roof, they found out that, as it had happened on Cyrus and Denise's building, the mist there had a slightly pink tone, so they advanced carefully.
On the roof, what they found was a much bigger crawler surrounded by a few tens of smaller ones. This big crawler had much thicker limbs, and its height reached at least three meters, making him look like a giant among the rest of the monsters.

"What do you prefer, the big one or the small ones?" Edwin asked while smiling.
"I will take the smaller ones. For some reason, I think you will do better than I will do against the tall one. " Raziel replied, laughing slightly.
Just after they stopped talking, they realized that the crawlers were starting to look at them, and suddenly the big one let out a cry that made the rest jump toward the couple.
Reacting to their enemies' movements, Raziel quickly ran toward one of them and kicked it directly on the head, which caused it to separate from its body immediately.
As for Edwin, he suddenly jumped toward the bigger crawlers while accumulating energy at his speed, which caused the tip to grow a few centimeters. Without thinking much, he threw a few stabs at the monster's head, which were easily blocked by the crawler's thick arms.
It looked like that thing was not only bigger than the others, it was more resistant too.
Seeing that his attacks hadn't managed to do much to the monster, Edwin decided to continue assaulting it with all his strength, forcing his enemy to stay in a defensive position the whole time. Even though the strategy was working well, Edwin felt his energy being quickly drained and that he wouldn't be able to continue for much longer.
"How much time do you think you are going to need before finishing all those small fries? I think I may need a little bit of help with this big guy. " Edwin asked Raziel.
Raziel complained that "There are still a ton of them, and more are appearing, so I'm not being able to reduce their numbers fast enough. I will try something and see how it works."
Suddenly, as she was punching a crawler in the chest, Raziel's tattoos began to shine in blue light, and an electric shock attacked the monster's body, leaving it completely burnt.

In the next few seconds, her arms began to shine with even more intensity, before lightning bolts began to fly in all directions, instantly killing anything that crossed their path.
In just a few moves, most of the crawlers on the roof were dead, a moment that Raziel used to jump directly towards the big one and punch it a few times in the back, each punch releasing its own electric shock.
Seeing the opportunity appear in front of him, Edwin quickly used his enemy's moments of weakness to throw another few stabs at the monster's chest and head, which he managed to land two of, both on the chest.
With that, the monster began to lose black blood through the holes, and before he could do anything more, Raziel jumped into the air and kicked it on the side of the head, causing its neck to break.
Even with all those wounds, the monster continued to move, but with much less agility and coordination, so the couple didn't have any difficulty finishing it before more crawlers appeared.
"Good job," Edwin said as he bumped fists with Raziel.
"Same for you." She replied.
After that, they began to search around the roof, and in less than a minute, they found the pentagram that they were searching for, and without thinking about it twice, they destroyed it.
"By the way, how the hell did you create all that lightning? I didn't know that you had such control over lightning magic. Well, I didn't know anyone that controlled lightning magic at that level. " Edwin asked while smiling.
Raziel replied, "It was not lightning magic."
"Was it some kind of martial art? Edwin asked surprised.
"It wasn't a martial art either. You could say that it was the Guburg's
village's secret weapon. " Raziel answered proudly.

This is the first book I ever started out of my four current ongoing stories. This story has been edited through nearly a dozen times since the majority of the reviews, so take that in mind if you read through the reviews. This is a LitRPG and cultivation-based novel where the two are interlinked and the characters have to reach a certain degree of cultivation and a certain level in order to break through into the next tier.
