《Creating a world can't be that difficult, right?》Chapter 43

After talking with his friends about what to do the next day, he continued talking with them for a few minutes about trivial things before turning on his computer and spending most of his day on it.
The rest of the time, Axel tried to observe his world as much as possible, as he felt that he had learned a lot about it the last time, and as he wanted to make his world as strong as possible, he needed all the information that he would be able to collect to make the best decisions possible.
That way, the day passed by without much happening, and the next day quickly arrived.
When the afternoon arrived, Axel met with his friends so they could go to the comic store, and while they were walking there, they started talking about various topics before arriving at one in particular.
"So what? Are you nervous about your fight with Emma or do you feel confident about it? " William asked while trying to hold back his laughter without success.
"I'm confident about it. I mean, she is only a little girl; even if she is already nearing rank 2, she can't be that difficult to beat. " Axel replied without paying attention to his friend's teasing.
"As we have been friends since childhood, I will give you some advice. But don't tell Mark about this or he would get mad because we are plotting against his daughter. " Adam said.
"And the advice is?" Axel asked.
"Don't fight her." William quickly said, while laughing, before Adam could even open his mouth.
At that moment, both Axel and Adam looked at William with dead serious faces before looking at each other.
"Beware of the eyes. Make sure that your troops don't look at them," Adam said seriously.

"The eyes? Which eyes? What the hell is that even supposed to mean? " Axel asked without understanding anything.
"You will know when your fight begins," William said, while he continued laughing.
After that, they continued walking until they reached the comic store, where when they entered, Mark welcomed them with a wide smile.
"Hello, guys. What brings you to my humble store on a day like this one? " Mark asked while he rested his elbows on the counter.
"Axel is here to have his fight with Emma." William quickly said while patting Axel on the back.
"Oh, I see. So you have already reached rank 1? Sadly, Emma is not here right now, but her mother will bring her in a few minutes, so you can wait at the back of the store if you want. " Mark explained.
"We will wait there then, thanks for everything," Adam said.
Then, they began to walk toward the back of the store, but before distancing themselves too much from Mark, Axel turned himself toward him and asked.
"Well, as I'm already here, I had something to ask you, Mark," Axel said while scratching the back of his head.
"Let me guess. Someone told you that I'm one of the leaders of the "Weapons of the Gods", and as you are now a rank 1, you want me to get you into some rift without charging you any money, right? " Mark said.
For a few seconds, Axel stood still as he didn't know how Mark could know what he was about to say.
"Don't be too surprised, kid. Do you know how many people come here daily to ask me exactly the same question? I knew what you were about to say just by looking at your expression. " "Mark said while laughing.

"So, what is your answer?" Axel asked with a bitter smile.
"My answer is obviously no." Mark replied."Our group is not a game; we worked very hard to obtain each of those rifts, so we cannot gift them to anyone, let alone someone who has only recently achieved rank 1." Mark explained.
"What about if he beats Emma?" Adam asked. "If he beats her, that would mean that his world is powerful enough to rival someone that is nearing rank 2, so he may not be considered an early rank 1 anymore."
"Have you told him anything about her world?" Mark asked suspiciously.
"The only thing I know is that I should be aware of the eyes," Axel said.
After hearing Axel's words, Mark burst into laughter.
"Man, if you manage to beat my daughter at your current level and with only that information, I will get you into any rift that you ask me," Mark said while he wiped a tear that was scaping his eye.
At the same time, a woman suddenly entered the store and grabbing her hand was a seven-year-old kid.
"Daddy! We are here! " Emma exclaimed joyfully, waving one of his stuffed squid tentacles.
"I see. And look at here; some people are looking for you. " Mark told his daughter.
When Emma realized that Axel had returned, she quickly released her mother's hand and ran in front of Axel.
"Are you here for our fight?" She asked Axel with shining eyes.
"Yes, I'm here for that," Axel said while smiling.
"Yes!" Emma said while raising her fist in the air. "Let's go to the back of the store then."
Before hearing Axel's reply, the little girl quickly ran toward the back of the store.
"I guess we should go then," Axel said to his friends.

The Desecrator's Tomb - A Numbers Lit-aRPG
A man appears in a dungeon full of undead. He tries to leave. This is my attempt at writing a litrpg where the system is more formalized. This means that there will be a fair amount of min-maxing and we will hopefully be able to calculate the dps of every ability by the time I am done. Expect math. The main character will become a Drain Tank. This story uses an aRPG item and stat system. Oh and one last thing. Beware the penguins. update 1/8/22: I am trying to simulate things as faithfully as is reasonable. As of chapter 17 there are animated gifs depicting Chilly's life throughout encounters. update 1/11/22: Kreksyte drew me a cover! All hail our artist overlords! update 5/25/22: Going on hiatus for a bit. The second arc is complete. Will come back for the 3rd and final arc soon. update 7/15/22: ayy...I've returned. Starting the third and final arc. [was once a participant in the Royal Road Writathon challenge]

Foreign Thorn: Book 1 For eight centuries, the people of Isla have wanted for nothing. The Creator, Maere, uses Her power not only to keep them healthy and fed, but also to map the direction of each person's future Path - their vocation, role in society, and even the partner they'll spend their life with. All is not well among the people of the northern lands, however, as Jian discovers when she receives her own long-awaited Path. The Creator has chosen to favour some towns, but not others, leading to anarchy and unrest in the east, and fierce distrust between the neighbours who enjoy Her protection and those who don't. After many nights of disturbing premonitions, visions of a face uncannily familiar to her, and a voice beckoning her to "Homeland," Jian decides she needs to find answers for herself. She hires Madrigal, a surly young traveller hailing from an "unblessed" village, to take her to the southern lands. The swordsman is on the run from something, or someone, but Jian has no choice but to trust him. When the two leave the safety of the familiar and meet Quinn, a mysterious boy who seems to know more about Jian than she does about herself, it becomes clear that there are forces besides the old magics, forces completely unknown to the people of Isla, in play.
