《Creating a world can't be that difficult, right?》Chapter 32

After leaving the bathroom, Axel went directly toward the kitchen, as he had yet to have breakfast. He quickly cut a few bread slices and put them on the toaster while he sent a few messages to his friends.

"I have managed to reach rank 1 and have already expanded its surfaces. In a few hours, I will create the beacon and then create my new add-on. I will keep you informed. " He wrote to his friends.

"Look at him. Just a few days ago, he hadn't even created an add-on, and now he has reached rank 1. He has grown so fast, I'm almost crying. " William replied, making fun of him.

" Good job. You are advancing quite fast, but don't trust yourself too much. Foundation is an important part of worldbuilding, so onwards, make sure you take your time before each breakthrough to make sure each of your add-ons is in the best condition possible." Adam warned him.

"I will. Thank you for the advice," Axel replied, just as the toast jumped out of the toaster.

Then, he took his breakfast and went to his room, where he began to surf the internet for a few hours. Now that he had reached rank 1, a great number of possibilities opened to him, and what attracted him the most were the rifts, as they could become a great source of resources that could boost his world a lot.

But participating in the conquering of a rift wasn't as easy as it sounded, as they were controlled by various forces or organizations. The first thing he did was to search to see if he could find information about the factions in the area where he lived. While these groups didn't tend to be very large, most of them had a website, where one could easily find out if they were holding events soon or if they were open to accepting new members.

In less than a quarter-hour, he found the pages of three different groups that worked in his area: the "Salary Fighters," the "Weapons of the Gods," and the "Black Demons of the Dark Seventh Hell".

The "Salary Fighters" were the smaller organization of the three, and they were a group of clerks that saw worldbuilding as a low-time-consuming hobby to practice in their free time, as most of their events were celebrated at nighttime or on their free days off, as they had to attend to their work first.

The "Black Demons of the Dark Seventh Hell," as ridiculous as the name may sound, were the second most powerful group in town, as well as the most numerous. Almost every one of their members was in high school, so they worked mainly in the afternoons and weekends. It wasn't clear why they had such a name, but after a while of reading about them, Axel felt that the reason was most likely their leader, who was referred to as "The Demonic Demon Lord of the Dark Abyss," which sounded a bit redundant.

Axel stopped reading for a few seconds when he saw this as if that name had made him remember an intense phase that he had in his early adolescence.

"I should not judge them by those names. When I was young, I named myself "Dark Blood Killer" a few times while playing D&D with my friends." Axel thought to himself.

Putting aside those shameful thoughts, he continued reading.

The last and strongest group, the "Weapons of the Gods", was the most diversified faction, since even though most of their members were adults, there were even a few teens too. It seemed like as long as you and your world were good enough, you would be received with open arms.

What caught Axel's attention the most was that they offered outsiders the possibility of participating in rifts in exchange for money or resources. But not only that, but they also helped you conquer the rift. In each of their rifts, at least one member of the faction with a higher rank than the other participants would participate in the rift to make sure that no one would suffer great losses.

Thanks to this service, they managed to become the strongest and most respectable group in the area, even working with the other factions if needed.

Sadly, the commissions were too high for Axel to afford, so he wouldn't be able to participate in any rift unless he joined one of those groups or earned some money.

"Maybe I should think about accepting Mom's offer to work with her so I can join the Salary Fighters." Axel thought.

After that, Axel spent more or less an extra hour reading more about these factions and their members before something happened.

"Master, the expansion of the world is almost finished," Heaven said.

"Well, I guess I should focus on finishing the upgrade of my world before anything else." He thought.

With that, he began to prepare to continue with his world-building.
