《Creating a world can't be that difficult, right?》Chapter 28

The three of them walked toward one of these tables and sat down.
" And now what? " Axel asked.
" We have to wait until someone decides to challenge us," Adam replied.
" We need to wait until the end of any of those fights and see if anyone is still in condition to fight or wait until someone new arrives," William explained.
As he was saying this, someone approached their table.
"Hey William, you still owe me a fight from the other day," said the man who was nearing the table.
" You're right, James, I do," William said while laughing before looking at Axel. Last week, James waited for more than a half-hour for me to finish a battle before challenging me, but I didn't have enough time, so I had to leave before fighting him. I promised to fight him the next day we would meet, and it appears that day has come today.
After saying that, William invited James to sit in front of him.
" When we start to fight, wait a minute more or less and then put your hand on my shoulder and you should be able to see the battle, "William explained to Aiden.
"That's great. I will do it then. " Axel answered while sitting by William's side.
Just before the battle started, someone else neared their table and challenged Adam, so he left to sit at another table to have his fight.
At the same time, a little girl suddenly approached the table.
" Can I watch the battle too?" She asked with sparkling eyes.
The girl was Mark's daughter and was called Emma. She spent some afternoons in his father's store reading comics and books or playing games with his father or other customers.

Because of this, every customer was familiar with her.
She was seven years old and had her blond hair gathered in a ponytail. The most important detail about her was that she always carried with her a stuffed squid called Gu.
" I want to watch it too! " She spoke in a deeper tone while putting Gu in front of her face.
" Of course, you can. Come sit with us. " William said, smiling.
" Thank you very much. " Emma said while smiling widely.
Then she sat by the side of James and waited patiently until they started fighting.
Soon, they began to look at each other intensely, a sign that the battle was beginning. As William had told him to wait for at least a minute, he decided to talk with Emma for a bit to pass the time.
"So you are building your world too? How is it going? " Aiden asked curiously.
"My world is amazing. Well, the truth is that it's not only mine, I share it with Gu. " She answered happily. "We combine our ideas to create cool things. If you want, we can have a friendly match so I can show you. "
As she said that, Axel could see on her face that fighting him made her very excited.
" I would love to, but I can't. I haven't reached rank 1 yet. " Axel said while scratching his neck.
At that moment, Emma's face changes into one of sadness.
"No one ever wants to fight me. " She said as her eyes began to water.
" I can't fight you right now, but I'm not far away from breaking through to rank 1. So if you want, next time I come, we can fight each other. " Axel said while trying to cheer her up.

" Really? You are the best. " She said this while a wide smile appeared on her face and she began to hug Gu.
" Yeah, sure. Now, let's see the battle. It should be about to start. " Axel said.
After saying that, he put his hand on William's shoulder, who continued looking into James' eyes without paying attention to anything happening in his surroundings.
When he did this, a mental image began to appear in his mind, and to focus easier on it, he decided to close his eyes.
Suddenly, a large wasteland appeared in his mind, and soon after, four robots appeared on the scene.
The robots looked like they came from a low-budget kid show, and every single one of them looked like the costume of a futuristic robot, but each of them had a different color and had numbers from one to four on their chests.
Not very far from then, a blue portal big enough for them to fit appeared, and the robots began to advance toward it.
When they were in front, they waited for a second before jumping inside. The inside of the portal looked like a tunnel made of blue energy, and it ended not very far from the entrance, but before they could advance even a step, something began to appear on the other side of the portal.
Suddenly, a reptilian head crossed the other entrance, and soon after, a whole tyrannosaurus rex appeared in front of the robots. But this tyrannosaurus wasn't normal. It was black and, instead of its characteristic short arms, it had the arms of a giant mantis.
When it saw the robots, it began to roar, and soon after, other kinds of modified dinosaurs began to appear behind it.

The Realm Beneath: A Dungeon Story
This is the story of a dungeon, not a reincarnated soul or a human trapped in a soul gem, but a dungeon. Born as a dungeon, it lives as a dungeon, and kills like a dungeon. Guided only by its experiences, vague ideas and knowledge from somewhere else and the mysterious system that greets it upon awakening it strives to build and live and learn. Immerse yourself in the tale as you read about the dungeon and the adventurers that challenge its depths, puzzles, traps and creatures. Read about the realm beneath as a world comes to life within a mountain in the centre of the land. Forests, swamps, deserts, tundra and more can all be found in the cavernous chambers that blossom with life. Author's note. There is an overarching plot that is more than just the dungeon getting bigger. I will be uploading at least one chapter a week until furthur updates on my schedule get posted and hopefully more once I finish off the other book i'm working on. You can expect me to try and craft unique challenges and floors, stuff you most likely haven't seen before in dungeon books whilst still having a hopefully decent plot. I can't promise much about it but I will certainly read all the comments, respond where appropriate and take on board suggestions. I promise to keep you updated and not drop away without saying anything. I would consider this to be part of the writers pledge but if circumstances force my hand I may have to drop it. (no plans) A Note on tags: Profanity: Not excessive but where i find appropriate. Gore: Well that depends how well I do my job doesn't it. If I can paint a vivid picture that has the potential to be gory, then my writing may be to an acceptable quality. Traumatising content: Again, this depends on my skill as a writer, I guess I hope you find it traumatising - no that’s not right. Well you know what I mean anyway. Hopefully I can paint a vivid picture in your mind that makes the book all the more special.

Stolen by the System
Lost. Vulnerable. Alone. What would you sacrifice to get home? Kidnapped on the cusp of graduation, Jake is dumped into a deadly world of levels and magic. His dreams shattered again, he’s left with a choice: fight or die – and Death won’t let him go that easily. A savage wolf, a horrific secret, and an abhorrent quest make day one the second worst day of his life. Whatever bastard is pulling the strings is due one hell of a reckoning. On the plus side, there’s magic, and Jake’s got the stats to master it. Spells not included, but, hey, creating spells and programming are basically the same thing, right? At least Spellcrafting is slightly less suicidal than trying to stop the encroaching dungeon spawn threat. Because why wouldn’t there be an apocalypse in progress. All the more reason to find his way back fast. Unfortunately, the path home leads right into the heart of danger. Fighting monsters, dungeon delving, solving puzzles – whatever it takes, Jake is finding his way home. He’ll need allies. Powerful allies, like a trainee ranger who struggles to find her hairbrush. Pointy ears, executive dysfunction, and a perilously gutsy moral compass – what more could one want in a Companion? Alas, beggars can’t be choosers. He needs every edge he can get. Going home means finishing his quest. That quest. The quest that doesn’t deserve completion. Save your father, save the world. Update Schedule: Monday/Wednesday/Friday. Temporarily ad hoc.
