《Creating a world can't be that difficult, right?》Chapter 16

For a while, the group observed the lizard from a distance.
That was the first beast that they encountered in the underground, so they decided to be careful as they didn't know if it could be aggressive or what kind of abilities it could have.
"We can't hide because of the torches, but let's try to stay at some distance and follow it. Maybe it will show us where we can find more individuals of its species or even some of a different kind. " Galey suggested.
After saying that, the group did as Galey said and followed the lizard from afar. Thanks to the crystals on its back that reflected the light of the torches, it was hard to lose sight of it.
Following it, they learned some things: it looked like the lizard was blind or at least had a very bad sight, as it didn't notice the light or the people following it. It was capable of eating rocks, and it was picky when choosing what to eat as he took bites all over the place, spitting most of it after a few seconds, eating more or less one out of five bites that he took.
After following it for at least an hour, they finally reached a new area. Instead of the area almost devoid of life that they had crossed, they now found themselves in a gigantic space with blue-leaved trees that looked similar to oaks, with glowing apple-like fruits growing from their branches.
"Why the hell is everything blue in this place?" Aiden asked himself.
Soon after, a few animals similar to bats went flying from one tree to another, which caused the group to focus their attention on them.
"It seems like there are a lot of things around here." One of the cultivators said. "Maybe we should set up a camp somewhere nearby and see what we can find around it."

"That's not a bad idea." Galey said. "Let's look for a safe spot and rest a bit before we start exploring this area."
Like that, they began traversing the blue forest until they found what looked like a glade. There they set up some tents and their followers began to prepare some rations for everyone while the cultivators split into two groups: one that would rest and one that would stay alert just in case something came near them.
Aiden offered himself to be in the group that would make guard first because he wasn't very tired. The shift passed in a blink, and soon Aiden's group began to rest.
But while they were resting, one of the guards saw something in the distance.
"Watch out! There is a shadow over there." Said the cultivator, who was on a tree while pointing far away. "It looks like... like a human!"
When the rest of the group heard that, they got up almost instantly and prepared for anything. They soon found themselves trying to find the shadow in the distance.
Suddenly, a person appeared on the edge of the glade. It was a dark-skinned woman with white hair gathered in a bun.
When every cultivator pointed their weapons at her, she said, "Calm down. I'm not here looking for trouble. I'm one of the Esvert village cultivators. I think you too were looking for the other tribes, right?"
As the girl talked, Aiden couldn't help himself to look surprised at the woman. In his village, it wasn't strange for people to be dark-skinned as the fieldwork required them to be under the sun for long hours, but cultivators tended to have lighter skins as they spent their time training and not working.
Also, her hair color didn't seem related to her age, as she looked around twenty years old, which amazed Aiden, as he only knew people with black or brown hair.

But what he was most curious about was his clothes. While their clothes were made of rough leather or wool, the woman's clothing was made of blue and white material with some shiny ornaments around it, which made Aiden unable to identify the materials that were used to create them.
"My group has already found the archway that the voice of heaven announced and even found another tribe. If you are willing, I can guide you there." Said the woman, in a happy tone, while opening her arms.
After those words, the cultivators from Yuoko village began to discuss if they should follow her, and after a few sentences, they decided that they could trust her as she was a person, and it would be the best way to find the archway. In less than an hour, they dismantled the camp and were ready.
When they were about to leave, the woman suddenly said a few words while making gestures with her hands.
"Guide my way." She whispered while closing his eyes.
And suddenly, a ball of light floating in the air appeared in front of her and began to move towards the direction that she came from.
That sight shocked every cultivator in Aiden's group. After all, what she just did looked like magic. Could it be that she was a witch?
