《Creating a world can't be that difficult, right?》Chapter 6

After witnessing that scene, Uno ran to protect Aed.
" Be careful, Uno... That demon can use magic to attack from afar, don't let it surprise you as it did with me…" Aed said with difficulties.
"I will be careful then", Uno answered.
With a quick move, Uno threw his spear with all his strength in a bad attempt to surprise his enemy and hurt it easily or even kill him, but the beast reacted by waving his tail, which created a gust of wind that changed the trajectory of the spear and made it miss its target.
Without even waiting to see if his attack did something, Uno had already crouched to take Aed's spear because he knew he would need a better weapon to defeat an enemy that had beaten him.
As he raised his new weapon, he saw how his enemy's tails began to appear thinner and, somehow, sharper. When the fox began to wave his tails again, Uno could see how the air compressed in an instant and was fired at him in the form of air slashes.
When Uno saw this, he quickly intercepted those attacks with his spear, breaking them with the tip of his weapon. When he did that, he felt how the air slashes made his arms shake with the force they had, but his new weapon was strong enough not to be damaged, and he realized how if he hadn't changed weapons a few seconds ago, maybe his spear would be pretty damaged right now.
After defending himself from those attacks, he began to move towards his enemy, but when the beast saw that, it resumed its attacks with its tails while it moved backward to keep a distance from him so he could not make any melee attacks.
After a few rounds of attacks, Uno noticed that his body began to feel tired from fending off the fox attacks, but at the same time, he could see how the tails of the beast didn't have the early sharpness and how the attacks were less precise and slower, so sometimes he could dodge them instead of blocking them, which helped him not to get so tired and sometimes even get closer to the beast.

"It seems that not only am I faster and stronger, but I also have a much better resistance now", Uno thought, seeing how he was capable of continuing fighting even though normally he would be very tired at this point of the fight.
Even though he wasn't capable of harming his enemy in any way, he was keeping it busy while the others were fighting, and he was protecting Aed, who was unconscious behind him while he waited for someone to come to his aid, so he felt like he was doing a good job.
After a few minutes, more people came to help fight the beast and help rescue the wounded, which broke the balance on the battlefield because now the humans were more numerous than the foxes. Using their advantage, the hunters began to reduce the number of the beasts faster and safer until just a few of them were encircled. One of those was the one that Uno had been fighting with until that moment. With the help of four other people, he was able to kill it after a few stabs in the chest and neck. For some reason, the hide of that fox was extremely tough, so it was difficult to harm, and even after those wounds, it took a while for him to bleed out.
After that, the attack was over and the village was saved.
"Good job, Uno", said one of the hunters. "If you hadn't kept their leader busy, we would be in great trouble."
"Yeah, you did great. How could you survive with that demon for that long? ", asked another hunter.
"Let's gather the whole village and them I will show you something, this could be a gamechanger", Uno said decided to teach his breathing exercises to everyone.
After Uno showed what he knew, most of the people in the village thought that he was joking and didn't pay attention to it. Just a few hunters began to practice their breathing diligently. After a few weeks, and after the effects of the breathing began to show, most of the hunters in the village began to do it too. A few months later, the whole village practiced that technique, even if it was just for a few minutes every week.

With the advantage that Uno village had over the other groups in their hunts, it wasn't long before more and more people migrated to find the miraculous way to become stronger or at least to seek refuge from the mutated beasts and demons that were growing in number.
In a few years, the Yuoko village was the only population of humans that remained on their island and they began to conquest more and more land as time passed.
Of the five islands that had survived until that point, only three saw the light of cultivation appear on their land and made the humans on those islands the kings of those territories. The rest of the islands became wild areas where mutated beats and demons grew exponentially in number, making them uninhabitable for humans.
