《Creating a world can't be that difficult, right?》Chapter 2

After Axel left the bathroom, he went to his bedroom and changed clothes. He decided to meet some friends at a cafe, and because his pajamas were not the best option, he put on a sweater and some pants and left his home.

Axel was 21 years old. He had black and short hair and was 1,75 meters tall. He lived with his parents, and because he had left college, it seemed like it would be like that for a long time. For almost a year, he had been at home doing not more than playing video games and going out with his friends. Even with all of this, he didn't see himself as a dropout and usually told himself that he would soon "begin to study again" or "start working in something cool".

Axel left his house and walked for a few minutes until he arrived at the cafe. He immediately saw his two friends sitting around a table when he crossed the door, so he walked until he was just in front of them and interrupted their conversation.

"Guys, I finally made it...", Axel announced.

"Did you get a girlfriend?!" Adam - one of his friends - asked.

"No, I didn't… I just…" Axel replied.

"Have you finally found a job?!" William - his other friend - asked.

"Shut up, I didn't get a job or a girlfriend, I started world-building," revealed Axel finally.

"And that's all?" William inquired, a bit disappointed. "Even a five-year-old boy can do that with the help of some tutorials."

"I expected some support from my friends, I guess I was wrong", Axel replied, while faking some sad faces.

"Well, tell us what you did with your world…" Adam said while rolling his eyes.

"Cool!", Axel exclaimed, and a smile crossed his face.

After that, he began to tell them how he had crafted an add-on and how its mechanics were supposed to work.

"Oh, so you decided to go on a non-human build", said Adam after listening to everything Axel had to say. "That can become pretty strong in later ranks, especially if you use some bloodline add-ons, so some cool hybrids can appear."

"I do not recommend you that, not at an early stage of development at least. Beasts are hard to control if they don't have enough intelligence, and they can become extinct if any race becomes so overpowered that it kills everything else", replied Adam.

"Well… I didn't decide to go with a non-human build. I did it like this to stimulate their growth. I thought that if humans were under constant threat, they would aim to become stronger by any means. At least that's what all the tutorials said", answered Axel growing scared.

"They say that, and it's true, but at a slow pace. You can't just force them to fight something that keeps getting stronger without providing them with any kind of power source from the start. That kind of strategy works well with game-like systems, but what you have described sounds like a poorly made cultivation system", explained William while taking sips of a cup of coffee.

"He's right. If you don't do anything, every human in your world will die, if they are not already dead. With the difference in time speed between worlds, if there wasn't anyone who was able to begin to cultivate, there is probably no hope anymore and you will need to recreate them from scratch. And let me tell you that that is a great pain in the ass", expressed Adam. "Maybe if you are too unlucky, even with cultivators, the humans will be doomed."

Listening to what his friends were telling him, Axel decided that if he didn't want his world to fall into chaos, he needed to interfere.

"I need to go to the bathroom, I will be back in a few minutes", said Axel while running out of the room.

When he arrived at the bathroom, he closed the door and sat on the toilet. He closed his eyes and put his fingers on his temples to concentrate on his world for the second time in a day.

When the image of his world began to appear in his mind, he found that most of the villages had been destroyed or abandoned, leaving only three bigger towns on three different islands.

Time passed faster there than in the real world, even when he was looking at it, so he spent a few days watching how those three towns were doing fighting the beasts, and, after seeing that they were not having too much trouble right now, he decided that he could leave them alone for now.

After those days where he saw some strange behaviors, he began to suspect that some people were trying to create some kind of training, and after looking at the core of the world, he saw that the rune of the add-on that he had created not even an hour ago had changed.

After seeing that, he stopped his concentration and his mind returned to the bathroom, not even a second after he put his fingers in his temples. He left the bathroom and arrived at the table again.

"How was that?", asked Adam.

"Everything is under control. It seems like cultivators have appeared in my world", responded Axel, smiling.
