《10k Years Silent Cultivation》Golden Singer Goat

Gary and the semi goat first escorted the moose back to the school. Then Gary and the semi-goat travelled to meet with the local authorities. Gary engaged in a complicated game of charades to explain the situation.
"Meow mrrah meow meow mrrr hiss meow meow"" Which roughly translated to (help My idiot master and her friends have been caught by terrorist, and I need your help.) Remarkably the well-funded and professional Calassarian police force understood every word, and quickly mobilized to help those poor young students.
The heavily armed police force scoured the tunnels looking for the students until they found the terrorist hideout. They began an encirclement and demanded the safe return of the students.
"How the hell did they get here so fast?! Nobody saw you did they?" Asked One, a tiefling.
"No sir, there was nobody there." Replied Two
"Well clearly someone saw you!" yelled One. They had no way out. Their secret hideout only had two entrances, and the cops had already found the second one.
"If we make it out alive, I'm going to murder both of you."
Gary had been following the cops along with the semi-goat. He watched as the situation remained a stalemate. The terrorists refused to budge as the cops kept threatening them. Gary lost sight of the semi-goat for a moment. He then saw that it had crawled into a small tunnel that could've been missed by anyone not low to the ground. He followed the semi goat until they reached another secret room. In the center of the room on a pedestal sat a rising star fruit. An extremely valuable fruit that could boost one's cultivation significantly. What was something so valuable doing in a secret tunnel under the city? Who cares? The semi-goat charged forwards to eat the fruit. Gary let it. A gravity trap crushed the semi-goat to bits. It then came back into existence just next to the fruit. It started to eat the fruit. Gary charged forward, risking getting crushed. It seemed the gravity trap only had one charge as it didn't activate for Gary. Gary snatched up what remained of the fruit, and ate it. He, and the semi-goat then passed out.

Gary could feel the power rippling through his body. He could feel his muscles, bones, teeth, skin being remodeled, and reformed. He saw visions of himself as the mightiest of all predators standing atop a mountain of corpses. He was once again in his sea of consciousness. He stood at the center of the island, above him a star was shining. He jumped attempting to grab it with all of his might. A burst of energy from his body propelled him forwards. He stopped just shy of the star, and had fallen back down to earth. Gary was now in the sky scraping realm. He was now particularly handsome by cat standards, and quite large. The semi-goat on the other hand had chosen to evolve. Not that it had much choice due to its lack of intelligence. When a wild animal rises to the Skyscraping realm it may try to ascend or evolve. Most animals simply evolved forever until they reached S-rank or died trying. Very few of them would stumble upon the idea of gaining a human body, and thus human intelligence. The semi-goat had evolved into another goat. It was now a golden singer goat. A powerful B-ranked creature whose voice would cause chaos in the minds of its enemies.
Gary, and the singer goat then found another secret passage. This one led to just behind the terrorists. How convenient. Lucy was stunned to see Gary, and her goat, who now had golden golden horns, crawling out of a hole that seemingly materialized out of nowhere. Gary Went around freeing the students. These terrorists must have been very badly trained as not a single one turned around to check on the hostages. There were at least 12 terrorist tieflings, and bronzemen in the room. The students, Gary, and the goat likely wouldn't be able to handle them all but they wouldn't need to. The goat let out a loud battle bleat. Then there was chaos the students, and Gary began casting, and clawing at the disoriented terrorists. The cops rushed into the room, and began wrestling and shocking the terrorists. It was a wild chaotic brawl. By the end of it. The terrorists were on the ground shocked, or beaten, into unconsciousness, and handcuffed. The students had taken quite a few stray spells and hits. Ellen was still suffering from the burn she had received, and was now receiving medical attention. Remarkably there were no casualties on either side. Lucy thanked Gary, and the goat for coming to her rescue, and promised them a feast when they returned.

With the situation resolved, and the terrorists imprisoned, life slowly began to return back to normal. The principal's office was rebuilt. He gave the police the secret information that had made him a target. Classes would begin again soon. Also, Lucy and her friends had been invited to meet with the emperor for their foolhardy, but brave actions. That would have to wait until they were fully recovered from their wounds.

He thought that would never get the chance to defend the village from the spike feeders, the deadly creatures jutting out with hazardous spikes haphazardly all over. Only predator beast souls were given the requisite training and allowed to join the village guard. Perry just didn't meet their criteria. He was also wrong.Soon Perry will live out his wildest dreams and more, as he scales the rankings of beast soul mastery, fights innumerable dangerous spike feeders and solves mysteries related to the origin of beast souls and spike feeders. And maybe, just maybe, he'll even get to join the city guard. Genre-wise, Mortal Mewling is a GameLit story (light on the GameLit) focused on action and adventure. The Gore tag is there more as a precaution, rather than a promise to keep producing gory words. Mortal Mewling is a bit of a slow burn in terms of start, scale and capacity of the protagonist. Book 2... has now begun! Updates Monday and Thursday
