《10k Years Silent Cultivation》Twisting Tunnels

Lucy and the rest of the disciplinary committee were summoned to aid in maintaining order. The students were all barred from their dorms, and academic activities were ceased for the foreseeable future. The bombing had hit the principal's office nearly taking them out. Fortunately for the principal they had decided to show up late today. Lucy's progress through her cultivation leads her to a sort of unsettling calm. She wasn't as panicked, or worried as the other students. She knew that the situation would be resolved somehow, and that realistically she had nothing to worry about. Gary on the other hand was extremely panicky, and just about ready to abandon the girl. He did not like the idea of being blown up. He decided that his best course of action was to follow Lucy from a large distance. If something happened to her it would be extremely upsetting, but Gary would live.
Lucy was taking care of her moose in the stables. It had been panicked by the blast. Her stoat was on her shoulder shaking. The semi-goat was strangely unfazed by all the commotion. Ellen walked into the stables, and interrupted Lucy.
"I think I'm fucked." Ellen said.
"What did you do?" Lucy coolly stated.
"I thought it was going to be a prank like a stink bomb or something. They asked me to sneak a package into the principal's office. I thought it was too small to be anything dangerous." Replied Ellen.
"I warned you that your actions might catch up to you one day. Didn't think it would be this soon." Lucy said. "Look L, I don't think there's much I can do about this. I can maybe help you find the culprits to get the blame off of you, but if you get persecuted I can't stop that."

"I know I know. I'd really appreciate anything you can do." Ellen begged.
"Alright, tell me where you got the bomb." Lucy sighed "We need to head over there to find clues."
"We're coming too." Joseph said from behind the door. Opening it revealed Joe, and Kristie on the other side.
The four of them, and Lucy's beasts made their way to the slums. Gary followed behind them sticking to the rooftops. He didn't want any surprises. He had learned a couple of long ranged spells, mana bomb and magic missiles, so that he could be more useful. Ellen led them to a broken down shack. This was apparently where she usually got her hands on the illegal goods that she would smuggle into the school. It had been making her large income until now. They searched around for clues, but couldn't find anything. The interior of this shack was strangely clean for a place in the slums. Gary walked into the home, and helped in the search for clues. His feline senses told him that the floor was hollow in a spot. He signaled to Lucy that there was something below the floor. They smashed open the floor revealing a stairway. They descended down leaving the moose behind.
Down below they found twisting tunnels. The tunnels were wide, tall, and old. Likely having existed long before the city became what it was today. They could hear conversation in the distance. They slowly approached a doorway at the end of the hall.
"Boss is gonna kill us." two said. He was a bronzeman. They had also been persecuted for their close ties to the tieflings.
"Boss is gonna kill you. I didn't have anything to do with this" Three, a tiefling, replied.
"The plan would've worked if you hadn't stopped me from turning the girl into the bomb." two hissed.

"That's unethical! We want to overthrow the government not turn into monsters." Three yelled.
"Look, sometime you've got to crack a few eggs, and all that. Plus that man knows too much we have to do something about him before word gets out that we're in the city." two warned.
As the two men were talking they started walking towards the door. The four students placed themselves ready to ambush them. Two walked out and was rammed by the semi goat. A barrage of ice bolts, magic missiles, wind blades, and lightning hit his bronze skin.
"Gah, fuck!" Two yelled. Three jumped into action, and cast a shield spell on himself and Two. He then used a solar beam to heavily burn Ellen. Kristie charged at him, and began to try to take him on in melee combat. Ellen summoned two golems, as she laid on the ground, and sent them to help Kristie. Joseph began casting a long spell. Lucy ordered her stoat to fire its concussive blast. The blasts reflected off the shields uselessly. Two Regained his composure Charged at the golems, and instantly smashed them to bits. Then he grabbed Kristie by the throat, and slammed her into the wall knocking her out. Joseph finished casting his spell, a small tornado formed inside the tunnel lifting Three up, but leaving Two unaffected. The semi goat kept head butting Two, but it then had its skull caved in. Lucy kept sending Ice boltz at Two, but they were ineffectual. Two was about to start beating up the remaining students when Three finished casting his sleep spell from within the tornado. It dissipated, as Lucy, Eleen, and Joseph were knocked out. The two then tied them up, and carried them away. Gary watched this all from a distance. He had made the wise decision of not biting off more than he could chew, but cursed his rotten luck at having to save his 'master' once more. A moment after they left the semi-goat returned back from the void fully formed. Gary, and the goat decided that their best course of action was to seek aid from stronger folk.

Broken (Peeta Mellark Fanfiction)
Peeta Mellark has survived the Hunger Games, he escaped the Quarter Quell, then he was rescued from the torturous hands of the Capitol. His memory has been tampered with, so everything he sees could be either real or fake. Instead of a smooth recovery, he is thrown right into war. What would become of him in the end? Broken. (Taking place a little over halfway through the Mockingjay book and after the movie Mockingjay Part 1) This is a somewhat sequel to the other story I wrote called Hijacked, but I think you could read this without reading the other one. This story and these characters are owned by Suzanne Collins, not me (obvi)
