"It what?" Sentenza snapped a cigarillo he had been bringing up to his mouth in two as he turned towards Narissa with a sour look on his face.
"I don't know how much clearer I can get from, 'it moved,' but it's not where it was a moment ago." Narissa replied as her gloved hands practically flew across the fleshy controls.
"Then just go to where it is now." he grumbled in a huff.
Narissa's eye twitched. "Maybe if you payed attention for half a second, you'd be able to actually understand what I'm saying."
"Yeah! Just unclog your ears and listen." Og'drimun agreed. "About...what...she's...saying...which is super clear by the way. I mean, I totally got it...definitely."
Pockets looked side to side as she slowly started to pull the giant q-tip out of the sleeve under her glove. Sentenza's eyes darted over to her and as their eyes locked, she stopped and then slowly shoved the q-tip away again.
"It's not been a fantastic day so far, " Sentenza said after he took a moment to compose himself. "Try explaining why we can't do the one thing we came here for, before I decide to cut my losses."
As his hand rested on the gun at his hip, Og'drimun jumped back. "Hey!" the demon cried. "What do you think you're doing? We're supposed to be partners!"
BANG!
Sentenza glared coldly at Og'drimun. "You'd be surprised what I can live through, and I'm willing to tempt fate a few more times if I have to."
"Ugh, no need to be so dramatic," Narissa sighed. "But the problem is that it won't stop moving. And it's not like someone grabbed it, this thing is just disappearing and reappearing seemingly at random."

Sentenza let out a deep, frustrated sigh. "Of course things couldn't be simple with you back."
"Wait, jumping around?" Pockets giggled. "Like that adorable skully?"
The other three of them froze in shock as their eyes flew wide open. While Pockets still sat there and continued to giggle mischievously as she pulled out a knife and began to stroke it tenderly.
"Could that be it?" Sentenza asked no one in particular.
Narissa slammed her hand against her forehead. "Do you think he'd be dumb enough to just...carry that around with him?"
"I mean, would he even know what it was?" Og'drimun suggested. "Maybe he just thinks it's a cool rock or something?"
Sentenza carefully placed a cigarillo in his mouth. With deliberately slow movements, he lit the tobacco stick. He seemed to relish it as he inhaled the smoke. He held it in his lungs just briefly before he let it out in a small plume of smoke.
"No. It's not him." He said firmly.
"Huh? How would you know that!" Og'drimun asked in a huff. "He could totally do it."
"Maybe, but he isn't doing it."
"You seem awfully sure," Narissa said. "Especially with us just figuring this out moments ago."
"Doesn't matter." Sentenza grunted. "It's plain as the nose on my face. So let's figure out an actual answer."
"You know, being cryptic isn't cool." Lulu groaned as she recovered from her transformation back. "It's just annoying."

Dungeon Devotee
Through all of Linaria, no dungeon holds such a grip on the dreams of men as the Eternal Depths. Hundreds throw themselves against its trials each day. Dozens survive, walking away with power and wealth beyond their wildest dreams… until they go back for more. One way or another, they all eventually feed the Depths. Edmund Montgomery Ahab has sworn to destroy it. Underleveled, undertrained, and underprepared, Edmund steps into the maw of the world’s greatest predator, a sword in his hand and vengeance on his mind. At first his task seems impossible, but with every level he earns, every piece of loot that drops, every secret he uncovers, and especially every bit of power he can squeeze from his mysterious connection to the Aspect of Madness, Edmund crawls closer to accomplishing that insurmountable feat. With nothing else to lose, Edmund has already given the Depths his life. All that remains to be seen is whether he takes the dungeon’s right back. Dungeon Devotee is an episodic serial. It will never be taken down for KU. Each chapter details a single floor of Edmund’s journey through the vast Eternal Depths, with all the levels and loot and lack of cliffhangers that entails. New chapters come out on the first of each month.

Embers in the Ash
Four ordinary young people from four corners of the Earth wake up on a hill in another world. Here, their very presence is a crime against the Gods. On the fringes of civilization, life is often brief and always violent, but in the Empire's Heartland, implacable hunters seek to rectify their blasphemous existence with Blade and Fire. To return home, they will need to adapt to a place where their life will be earned in steel. But what will they be ready to sacrifice for their goal? Will their flame flicker out like so many others before them? Or will they thrive as Embers in the Ash? Hello, and welcome to my first fiction on this site! Embers in the Ash is an epic fantasy adventure story that aims to span quite a few chapters (I hope!). To set expectations, this isn't going to be a LitRPG or power fantasy-style story. I'm aiming for a fairly grounded story set in a fairly high-fantasy world. I hope you enjoy it! For this first month of publication, my aim is to give you, the reader, something to really bite into. I will be releasing a chapter every day at 9:15 AM EST (13:15 GMT), as well as the occasional double chapter (which will always be announced by a post-chapter author blurb). Check in fifteen minutes after the first chapter's release! After this first month of publication, the aim is to go for either a weekly or bi-weekly release schedule, depending on the sort of time I can reliably dedicate to writing. Either way, settle in for the long haul, and welcome to the story!

Severing The Heavens
Lin Xian, an ordinary student aspiring to have the most out of his life, was walking his way home from school when his father suddenly intercepted him and... flew. Afterwards, he just found himself in the middle of a place dyed in red. A place his father described as... his one true home. Author's Note: I just felt like writing, and I think I'm just gonna write whatever comes to my mind. It might suck, but please do give me face and read this whenever it's updated. Or else... you'll be courting death!

Ashes of Heaven
Han Xuhan, our protagonist, is an ordinary mortal orphan who sets out on a journey to become immortal by joining a sect. Turns out he might not be our protagonist. Aaaand, his journey might have been fabricated. Also, it seems like he isn't really an ordinary mortal. Oh, who am I kidding? It's obvious at this point. That entire first sentence was a lie. Let us pretend that sentence doesn't exist there. Sadly, he hasn't exactly been informed of that fact. So we get to watch him trudge on his path as a cultivator. How long will he survive in a xianxia world by relying only on his dao of meta? Oh? Does that plot feel predictable? Fine! Let us pretend the dao of meta doesn't exist either; such a simple solution to a simple problem, unlike the issues Han Xuhan shall face from the get-go.
