"You just cut in?" Narissa sighed as she put her hand on her forehead.
"I mean...I didn't have a lot of time, and there was a lot of pressure and stress with two people hounding me so much." Og'drimun whined. "It's a miracle I could accomplish anything with the constant whining in my ears."
"And surely you heard even more because of how long they are, right?" Narissa teased as she daintily lifted up one of Og'drimun's long, floppy ears.
"I've been through so much," Og'drimun agreed as her teasing went completely over his head.
"Yeah yeah, we're all real sad for you," Sentenza cut in. "Just cut to the chase. You can use it, right?"
Narissa traced a finger along the corner of the pulsing, fleshy room. "Oh, no worries there. Using it is simple enough. It's just set up very inefficiently."
She waved her hands around them. "In simple terms, it cut into the magical supply, but it wasn't a clean cut so most of the energy is just released into the ether instead of being used anywhere."
Narissa was knocked back and onto the ground. Pockets had thrown a q-tip that was the size of a walking stick at her.
Pockets put her hands on her hips, and then shrugged as she held her palms up to the side. "I figured you could use that since you could use that since you seem to have trouble listening."
Narissa curled her lips down into a snarl. "You might want to watch yourself clown. You should learn how to treat your betters, girl."
"Why? Is someone better than me around here?" Pockets asked excitedly as she put her hand up over her eyes and looked around as if she was on a ship looking for land.

Narissa gnashed her teeth together. She glared at the clown with burning fury pouring from her eyes.
"Might want to be careful how hard you push her," Sentenza warned.
He turned to look down at Narissa and said, "Focus on getting the job done. We're here for a reason, remember?"
Narissa turned towards Sentenza with the same anger she had directed at Pockets. But, she quickly averted her gaze. Sentenza's eyes had locked with hers for only a moment, but it was enough to make her pull away. The look of a cold-hearted killer was too much for her to stare against.
"Huh? I'm only trying to help," Pockets said innocently as she locked her hands behind her back. "You just asked if it worked, and said the other stuff didn't matter. But she went on and on about how it all worked."
Pockets looked down as she twisted her body back and forth. "I didn't mean to be a bother, honest."
Knives began to flip around behind Pockets as she kept her hands behind her back and began to juggle. She took various knives out of her back pocket and tossed it up from there.
"I can handle things myself," Sentenza said firmly as he turned his gaze to Pockets. "If I had a problem, I would take care of them."
Pockets raised her eyes up to stare back at Sentenza. She had a mischievous yet innocent glint in her eyes as she refused to break her gaze. All while she juggled knives behind her back without looking or moving her hands very much from their position near the small of her back.
Sentenza let out a sigh and rubbed the bridge of his nose. "Just...just get us out of here."
Narissa picked up the giant q-tip and threw it at Pockets. As it approached her, the clown smiled and pulled down her skin below her glove as if it was a sleeve. The giant personal cleaning device flew straight up the impromptu sleeve and seemed to disappear.
"Where are we going exactly?" Narissa asked.
"You don't remember?" Sentenza asked with a smile. "To the heart of course. We still need that bell."
