What just happened?
Ted's mind was fuzzy. Like he had just gone a round with a professional boxer. He tried to fully grasp a thought, but other than confusion, solid thoughts seemed to drift just out of reach.
He reached out with his hand into the air. He closed his hand, but it wrapped around nothing. He brought his hand back down and put his hand over his eyes as he let our a groan.
"Man. I feel absolutely terrible," Ted groaned.
Yeah bro, I don't envy you.
Ted turned quickly and there was Death, crouched down beside him.
"Death? What happened?" Ted looked around at the cracked walls around him. "Where are we? Where is that ceiling mural thing?"
Death scratched his chin. Oh dang! That's right. I remembered the room was real cool, but it did have that weird painting in it, didn't it?
Ted sat up. The change in elevation made him dizzy. So, he closed his eyes and put a hand on his head as he tried to ride out his disorientation.
"I'm not sure what happened." Ted said with a small groan. "Can you bring me up to speed on what's going on?"
Death held hla finger up and opened his mouth, but stopped before he said anything. He closed his mouth again and scratched the top of his head.
After a moment, he held his finger up again, and opened his mouth to speak. But, he retracted it again as he rubbed the back of his neck.
"I don't really know how much there is that can really be explained."
Death and Ted turned to the side and saw Sentenza walk out of a fleshy room. He tipped his hat at the two of them before he moved to a nearby wall and leaned up against it.

"It's not that complicated." Scoffed Og'drimun. "Well, as long as you understand fairly basic magical theory that is."
"I don't think that list is as long as you're implying," Narissa added.
She turned and looked down at Death and Ted. Her eyes glared angrily at them for a moment before they gave way to a sigh as she lowered her head into her hands.
"I hope you two learned your lesson about not listening to me," she said calmly as she rubbed her temple.
A small ringing chimed from inside the fleshy room.
"Thats almost everyone now," Og'drimun said as he looked over a pulsating panel with a series of lights over it. "Oh man...seems Nugget and Bakade are still nearby, but somehow out of reach."
"Nothing on Trizel?" Sentenza asked as his eyes focused on Ted.
Og'drimun shook his head.
"You know I can't see you right now, right?" Sentenza said in a monotone voice.
"Oh, yeah uh...nope. Just completely gone..."
