BANG!
Sentenza ducked back behind the corner as he reloaded his pistol. "What happened to all that control of yours?"
Og'drimun desperately scrawled in the air as he floated inside the fleshy box. "I'm doing my best! Those things are just like...mobile control systems for this place!"
Sentenza's eyes fell down to the cracks on the wall as he reached his arm out and fired again. The muscular and wiry robots walked closer as Sentenza's magical bullets only seemed to somewhat slow them down. As they closed in, the crack in the wall that Sentenza was staring at slowly started to heal.
In a bubble around them, the hallways appeared brand new. No cracks, wear, or anything else. It looked just like the hallways did before Og'drimun hijacked the magic that ran this place.
"Don't worry, I've got something that'll send them packing!" Pockets yelled triumphantly as she reached into her pants.
With seemingly no effort, Pockets pulled out a green rocket launcher that was as long as she was tall. She stumbled backwards slightly under its weight before she found her footing. She put the giant weapon over her shoulder, and looked down the scope as she stuck out her tongue and closed her other eye. Slowly, she squeezed the trigger.
But nothing happened.
"Oopsie!" She said cheerfully. "I forgot to load it."
She held the bazooka easily with one arm as she reached into her giant pants with her other white gloved hand. She pulled out a rubber ducky, and gave it a quick squeeze, "Nope." She tossed it behind her.
She pulled out a bright red fire hydrant that sprayed her face with water before the water pressure drastically dropped so it was no more than a tiny trickle. "Nope." Then, she tossed it next to the rubber ducky, where it landed with a heavy thud.

She pulled out a dangerous looking rocket. "Nope." She also tossed that haphazardly with the other rejects.
As she pulled out a pair of heart shaped boxers, she quickly stuffed them back down, and with a blush said, "That uh...how did those get there?"
Then she turned back to the rocket and shook her head. "Oopsie poopsie. It was already out here!"
She bent over just as a beam from the scrawny robot's arm shot towards her. It skimmed just above her pants, but as it passed over the back of her shorts started to smoke.
Pockets stood back up, completely unaware of what happened as she held up the rocket proudly. "Got it!"
She hummed happily as she expertly loaded the explosive into the oversized launcher on her shoulder. She looked down the scope again as black smoke rose up behind her.
She sniffed her nose a couple times, and then lowered her weapon. "Uh oh, sounds like someone's burning their ham."
Realization dawned on her, and she flung the rocket launcher to the ground where it bounced a couple times. She let out a scream and started to run around in a big circle. "Water! Water! Does anyone have some water?"
Og'drimun seemed completely drawn in, and stopped his magic to fly out of the fleshy room. "Hold on! I'll try to put you out!"
He chased the fleeing Pockets, who could move surprisingly fast despite having such large shoes. Sentenza turned towards the scene with a scowl as a laser shot blew off a chunk of the corner he was hiding behind.
Sentenza grumbled under his breath as he rolled across the opening and over to the green weapon. He picked it up and quickly looked it over. It took a little effort, but he was able to lift it onto his shoulder.

He peeked out from the corner and once the two of them were in the sight of the weapon, he pulled the trigger.
BOOM!
Even with the majority of the force blowing out of the back of the weapon, Sentenza was unprepared for the force held within. After he fired off the missile, he was knocked to the side.
After a brief moment of dizziness, Sentenza managed to stand up. He looked down the hallway where he had fired the rocket. It was full of smoke, but after a couple seconds, their two forms could just barely be seen pushing through the smoke.
He looked back at Pockets and Og'drimun still running in circles and his face curled into a snarl. "Could either of you idiots take this even a little seriously? We're trying to kill those things after all."
Pockets immediately froze in place. Her stop was so abrupt, Og'drimun went flying into her back. Without looking, she pulled out a bottle of seltzer, and sprayed down her smoking pants.
"Did you say kill?" she said slowly as shadow cast by her hair obscured her eyes.
Sentenza looked like he wanted to kill Og'drimun and her more than the machines that slowly walked towards them. "What do you think I've been trying to do? Invite them for dinner?"
He let out a frustrated sigh as he rubbed the bridge of his nose. "You were easier to deal with when you were just stabbing people."
Pockets smiled as a light twinkled in her still hidden eye. She started to laugh as she reached into her front pocket and pulled out a kitchen cupboard. She turned her face towards the unrelenting machines, and flung the drawer open.
Hundreds of knives of various sizes went soaring from the drawer and down the hallway. All while Pockets had a cruel smile, and death in her eyes.
"Flesh, metal, blood, oil...let's see if there's much of a difference." And as she uttered those words, she utterly and completely vanished.

Most of it is already written, but I'm going through the chapters and editing the shit out of them. This story is NOT a Lit-RPG, so no blue screens or anything of the sort. It is just fast-paced fiction with slight cultivation elements. Updates are bi-daily (so every 2 days), and chapters are 1500-3000 words. As always, feedback is more than welcome. Why are you still reading the synopsis? You have already decided. Go ahead, give this story a shot. It's worth it.
